Was a 9.1 for me this morning.Didnt post yesterday as phone died . Battery is about finished. Not due an update till next may .No more scanning with phone and it been on 24 7 hasn't helped.Hope everyone has had a good day .Put this back on charge now
Morning a 4.5 for me but first time alarm went off at 6pm.
Lovely lunch out and Storm Ashley left us untouched so all good.
Car in for a Service today so WFH and hopefully still have some pennies left for more lunches out.
I achieved a cinq point Len plus .1! I was quite pleased with 5.8 as I slept badly and that usually pushes me higher.
The baptism was lovely yesterday - the church, as it should be, was very accommodating of so many small people running around and the service went well.
I have my flu and covid later, and then a pile of ironing so hopefully the jabs don't leave my arms too incapacitated - not being to iron would be a terrible shame .
A 6.0 for me today. 🙂 @BobbleHat I've got my 2 jabs first thing this morning, but thankfully there's not a scrap of un-ironed clothing in sight. 🙂
Have a great day everyone.
Good afternoon! A late, for me, 6.8!
Laid in until 8.30, almost unheard of for me. I’d like to say I slept solidly but of course I didn’t. 3.30, 5.45, 6.45, 7.15. Then I think I dozed and the clunking of the central heating woke me at 8! We were exhausted beyond belief after a weekend of child care. This week we have a completely daughter/grandchild free week. Bliss. You know I love them all dearly but they are exhausting.
Quiet day, some laundry to be done and hung out where I’m hoping the remnants of Ashley will dry it for me. Not much damage that I can see, two bird feeders down but they are undamaged. I’ll walk to Aldi to get fresh coriander, ginger and green chillis for our tea but that’s it for the day. Apart from a bit reading of course.
Very chilly today. CH on. Yet another viewing at midday Yesterday's place was quite nice but not enough room for Peachy. Since garden and view brilliant and house OK I plan to visit next door farmer and see if he will sell me a bit. An impossible hope but if you don't ask you don't get.
Safely back home after our weekend away, and back to carb-counting after 3 days off. Hard to count carbs when you're staying in a B&B and eating out the whole time. Anyway, no apparent harm done - 5.8 this morning, same as yesterday.
After getting blown to bits at West Bay yesterday morning we headed home via Sherborne, by which time we had some blue sky and sunshine and the raging gale had morphed into a gentle breeze. Had a coffee and a look around and then moved on to NT Stourhead, by which time the weather had got even better. Did the house tour, walked the grounds and had a bite to eat in the cafe before pushing on home.
Covid jab later, otherwise the day will be spent catching up with the laundry while tip-toeing around 3 people WFH, as usual on a Monday. Thought about switching my Tuesday swim to Mondays so that I'm out of the way but I'd be getting in the pool today only 15 minutes after my Covid jab, so probably best not to.
