Group 7-day waking average?

Good morning. 6.3

@eggyg You are amazing.
@ColinUK Sympathy on the MH - hope it stabilises soon.
@Robin Wonderful trees, glorious colours.

Had a brilliant day yesterday as the daily estate agent's offering was close to 2 old friends. The sun shone, between brisk deluges, the house was a possibility, so need to book an internal viewing, and 10 minutes after a sneaky peek through the windows, I was sitting at their kitchen table. 3 hours of news, debate, politics and laughter. They are doing very well physically for their age (80 and 82) and mentally remain as sharp as tacks. Quite a few politicians here, in the USA, and in Israel must have had very hot ears.

Got home in the half dark having raided Aldi on the way home. Only slight downer in the day was my HbA1c which the receptionist on the phone said was "Satisfactory". On being pressed for a number she reluctantly opened the file and reported 54. If I am to get back into remission I need to try harder -. it certainly doesn't satisfy me.

Housework today - the place has been invaded by arachnids while I have been house hunting. Hope everyone has a good day.

Morning everyone, it’s a happy 5.9 for me today and the sun is trying hard to get from behind the clouds.

Have a great day folks and stay well.

I shuddered when i read this. Someone else would have to go in for me. You're brave.

5.5 for me on a cold and misty Berkshire morning. Beginning to clear now, which is just as well as we'll be leaving shortly for our wedding anniversary weekend in Lyme Regis, stopping at the Hillbrush Brush Museum in Mere for lunch. Don't laugh - it has a really nice restaurant that's so popular that you have to book (https://www.brushandbroomrestaurant.com/).

Have a good day, all.
Are you going to sweep your wife off her feet like you did all those years ago? 😛

Morning all. 6.0

During the week I booked a theatre ticket for today as I was feeling blue so this afternoon I’m off to see Benjamin Button, which is now a musical. It’s a west end transfer from the Southwark Playhouse and it’s first day previews today I think.

I’ve not heard the music or even read the book but I know the rough plot. I’m hoping it’s fun.

Before that I’m heading to the Royal Ballet Upper School, which is in a building attached to the opera house by the famous twisty bridge. They’re holding a costume sale. It’s much smaller than the one last week but thought I’d pop along and see if I can pick up a tutu or something!

Good morning everyone

Spent the whole of yesterday recording a song. Well, I spent the morning trying to work out why there was a crackling sound coming from my system, but only when I pressed record on the App. It took hours of testing, checking, rewiring, in the end it turned out to be a quirk clash between Apps!! Sorted it and spent the afternoon actually recording. Great fun but I do wish the technical bit just worked! They always give lots of trouble.

My wife had a good day too and wanted to sing which we did. She was a bit tired with a cough and cold and the result was not good, but she was happy to join in, so I was happy too.

Today, a tiny bit of recording, hopefully some exercise. Possibly going to the church for the practice, not sure as I'm not on the list to do anything, but I have been invited to go along and sing.

And its getting ever closer...

Morning a 6.5 for me and a gentle decline after the Pizza rise just before bed.
Dogs settled back in and happy. In my house happy dogs happy wife.Happy wife happy life.
Good day yesterday as house was nowhere near as bad as feared and decided to sell rather than rent again and will only take much less than the original quote to refurbish to an acceptable standard so will have a cauliflower steak to celebrate.
Decision day is whether to have lunch at our favourite new place or to use our free coffee and have lunch at our Garden Centre chain which we also enjoy.
Plenty of leaves to clear up so some nice e er use to keep the BG in check.
Colin I see “ The Devil wears Prada” is now a musical and sure some nice outfits in that.
Take care all

Morning all. My cat's come home 🙄 as my son couldn't stand it any longer, she's so high maintenance. I'm not in a routine yet, 4 is too early to take it and had cuppasoup so then I feel I don't want to know!

Good morning 4.4 on waking about an hour ago

my libra did wake me up in the night just the once for the first time in about 3 weeks, when I started dropping low (3.7) however no JB’’s were needed, on returning to bed following a bathroom visit levels promptly rose back into the green.

Have a Splendid Saturday whatever you might be doing today folks
for me that will be, depending on what time an Amazon delivery arrives, possibly popping over to Virgin active for a swim and relaxing in the sauna / spa, football on the radio this afternoon, plus a headlight bulb needs replacing on my car, I’ve actually got a spare set not sure exactly where, but I know I have them somewhere in my treasures in the garage 🙄

Morning all. 6.7.

Busy day number 3: Grandson to be taken to work for 9, quite a civilised time, it’s usually 7! Think Mr Eggy has volunteered, he doesn’t know yet! I’ll deal with the girls. Almost 12 year old ( on Tuesday) has homework so I’ll overseer that, 6 year old has some also, think that’ll be more on my level! We were talking about school last night over the pizzas, apparently philosophy is taught in school now, that’s new, I said. Meaning it been taught to year 7s. Poppy, no it isn’t, she said, quite indignantly. The ancient Greeks invented it! We did laugh!
Arriving at lunch time ( will you feed them please Mam? Daughter number three asked.) will be 3 year old Zara and 8 month old Eden for a sleep over, mammy and daddy are going to a show/event in Glasgow. First time having Eden to sleep over, yikes! She’s not the best sleeper, Poppy has volunteered to get up to her through the night, she absolutely adores her baby cousin, we’ll see! Sadie is sleeping in Rhys’ room as he’s not staying tonight. Think she’ll be the only one getting any sleep. Travel cot unearthed from under the bunk beds and assembled. Could be fun! Weather dry and bright so a trip to the park will be in order I think for this afternoon, probably ( definitely) some telly. CBeebies, Disney film, Little Mermaid most likely, and Worzel Gummidge a firm favourite, especially for me!
Lots of meals to plan, breakfast, lunch, tea, and repeat for tomorrow, except tea. They’d best be all gone by then!

Have a super, sunny Saturday, make the most of it as Storm Ashley is a coming tonight.

Here’s our Sadie helping Gaga at the pizza making station last night.
