A 4.9 for me this morning. 🙂

We really enjoyed a Norwegian Fjord cruise on a small ship so not so overwhelming, Cruise and Maritime from Hull but I think they also go from Tilbury so no flying.Morning all. Another 6.9 for me today.
Saw family last night and picked their brains about cruises. Amazingly my soon to be 23 year old nephew disagrees with everyone else about what would be a good cruise for me. He suggests one with a port a day and lots of activities onboard (like surf simulators and rock climbing walls etc) whereas everyone else says find photos of the library and avoid any ship with more than about 2,500 passenger capacity. That way I’ll be able to find space to chill.
Realistically I might be looking at 2026 cruising because it’s the only way to get a reasonably priced solo cruise but I’ll look for 2025 as well.
Certainly more research is needed, and that research is kinda fun!
@everydayupsanddowns Nothing from the lawyer yesterday. I’ll chase on Tuesday.
Morning a 6.1 to me.Morning! Second... and 6.3
Serving on the Bluebell Railway again today and being pulled by Britain's newest steam loco 'Beachy Head' What a joy!
I shall be, no doubt selling many teas and coffee's from the buffet car!
Blessings

First cruise the folks did was a fjord cruise. Mum said it was so boring and that if you’ve seen one fjord you’ve seen them all!We really enjoyed a Norwegian Fjord cruise on a small ship so not so overwhelming, Cruise and Maritime from Hull but I think they also go from Tilbury so no flying.
The other option is river cruises who friends have done and really enjoyed. If you like visiting cities have a look at those.
Oh, that's good to know. Anyway I had some spares so I prefer to save myself the call.@Elenka_HM how very irritating the sensors can be! Abbott will still replace, 2 days or a week makes no difference.
I use my garmin watch alarm. I've not yet slept through the vibration on my wrist.Oh, and of course didn't have a chance to check my BG first thing in the morning. I was already more than an hour late and my glucose meter has an habit to start asking you to adjust time and date when you are in a real rush to test! (Usually when I suspect a hypo and my hands are shaking). Technology is not my friend today. I finally tested after 2 hours of work and a Skinny Crunch bar and it was a 7'4.
Very, very early starts in the Nile cruises. 5am ish.First cruise the folks did was a fjord cruise. Mum said it was so boring and that if you’ve seen one fjord you’ve seen them all!
I’m not feeling a river cruise as my first one as I want the experience of being on a ship rather than a boat. That said I would consider a Nile cruise maybe.
Just do it online, so easy. Do you use the app? Go to the order sensors page then Libre support and the form is on the top of the page. You generally only need to speak to them if you have a big discrepancy between Libre and finger pricking. You’ll need your sensor number first.Oh, that's good to know. Okay, will research how to do online for next time. I don't have the app, tho, my phone is not compatible. Might be time for an upgrade soon...Just do it online, so easy. Do you use the app?
