Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all and 7.4 for me.

Yesterday I eventually managed to fix our washing machine. It was a fiddly job but getting the right tools helps.

Finally got proper distribution/ online sales sorted for our vinyl album. Hopefully coming to a record store near you mid July.

Got to go to the hospital to get the colonoscopy preparation pack. I'm looking forward to that.

Have a good day everyone.

Good luck with the album launch @khskel 🙂

Hope the colonoscopy goes well.

Do you think it is the Doxycycline you were on? After a very good overnight run my BG rose in the half-an-hour I usually wait .between taking my insulin and breakfast (so waited a full hour). Then mid-afternoon as I was typing a very long email I suddenly had trouble focusing and went hypo (strangely Libre was higher than finger prick). This triggered a migraine that is only now clearing. I am sick and tired of this total unpredictability! :(
No, I don’t think so, it’s weeks since I finished it. Sounds like it’s playing havoc with you though. Hugs.

Bright start here but the sun's yet to put in an appearance. My wife has the day off so it's a day out today at Polesden Lacey, an NT place over the border in Surrey. Scattered showers is the forecast but we should be all done and dusted by the time the thunderstorms arrive late afternoon, if the forecast is right. As the old joke goes, you can tell when it's summer here - the rain's warm.

Thanks for noticing it's my birthday today and for the 'Happy Birthday' posts. My birthday meal out was on Tuesday as that was the only day everyone was able to make but we'll have a birthday lunch while we're out rather than grabbing a sandwich or taking a picnic.

6.2 this morning.

Have a good day, all.

Woke to a 5.4 and 4.7 FOTF. Just makes no sense.

Rushing as early doors podiatry.

You have guessed it - overcast

Patient Transport arrived before the two-hour window they give you so I was not quite ready. Ten minutes later I was good-to-go and arrived way early. Another patient (or is it a podiatry client?) had not arrived so I was seen virtually straight away. Patient Transport then turned up about ten minutes after the call to day I was ready and I was home 40 minutes before my appointment. No real change but still very damp! :(

Might try for a few more ZZZzzzzzz's in a while as still have hypo headache...

Morning all - very changeable today, in the space of an hour we've had rain and brilliant sunlight. At the moment it's just grey.

6.2 this morning, which is better. It could be so variable due to the fact that I'm on Doxasozin for BP and one of it's actions is to relax the bladder muscle and it's making me go to the bathroom every 2 hours during the night. I rang the GP yesterday and she said that she couldn't think of what to replace it with as I've had every first line BP med and had bad reactions of one sort or another from every one of them. So she was going to consult with the renal specialist and see what he suggested then get back to me. The phone went in the early afternoon but it wasn't on it's cradle and I was searching for it. Hubby found it on the dining table amongst a our lunch things and picked up after a few rings, by which time it just went dead. I think it was her as it was "Private Caller" So I am no wiser.

Off for my cataract op this afternoon. @Grannylorraine I am so sorry you aren't having much luck getting yours. It just shows how much the NHS varies in different areas. It's only been a matter of 3 weeks since the optician referred me.

@eggyg sounds like you had an eventful travel day yesterday. Apparently Richie Sunak was just down the road yesterday visiting the rail depot. Not sure what about, hopefullly improving rail services!

@khskel good luck with the record launch!

And last but not least.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY @MartinA

Have a good day all!

And it was a happy 6.1 for me on yet another grey damp morning.

Have a great day folks and stay safe.

We’ve just ordered DNA kits from Ancestry UK. We’re both curious about our heritage, I’ve don’t a bit of my paternal family tree and there’s both Scottish, which I knew as my dad was Scottish, but also Irish. I came unstuck when I got to the Irish bit and couldn’t get any further. With the price of the kit I got three months free subscription to Ancestry UK, which I have used before, so will continue a bit more and see if in the last few years anything else will turn up. There’s absolutely no one left older than me to ask now about the family but when I first started it my auntie was still alive, my dad’s sister, and she was oblivious to everything I found, lots and lots of secrets and illegitimacy. She was shocked to the core as she thought they were a pious God fearing Catholic family! It’s all good fun but quite hardwork and stressful at times.
Very few Catholics in my family tree! Although we do have a Buddhist monk in there.

Hey everyone! Quite late but wanted to pop by as I never seem to find the time to post during the day recently.

First of all, happy birthday to @Martin.A ! 🙂

BG this morning 7´2 but that´s a formality, I came here to chat 😉 It´s been a month full of emotions and self reflection. I didn´t realise how quick the time passed, I have a holiday booked to go back home for next week and that seemed miles away. I am just getting in the pre-travel mood now. I think it will be good for me.

Today was a crazy morning at work. I had to cancel my driving lesson, which is annoying, but at least I had the evening for myself and it was lovely and sunny. I went to Waterstones to have a coffee and buy a book I had my eyes on, a little splurge. I wanted to take it on my holiday and I am not so comfortable bringing library books overseas! Plus this one seems to be very trendy and probable someone else has borrowed it already. It is fantasy+romance with "a bit of spice" they say, I haven´t read much fantasy since I was a teen but it has dragons and I like that. I saw online it is an enemies to lovers story, but even without that previous information, when you find the protagonist describing a guy as the most gorgeous man she´s seen but "oh no, he is my family´s mortal enemy!" in YA fantasy, you can tell they are going to end up together :D

Happy belated birthday @Martin.A and I hope it was a good one!

7.0 this morning. Supposed to have my retinopathy check up this morning but really don’t feel like that’s a thing that’s going to happen today so I may need to reschedule.

Seeing the folks later.

Morning all. 10.7 but at least I had a decent night’s sleep. This past week my pesky alarms have been waking me at 3, 4, 5am...I was pooped!

General pottering today with some lesson planning / admin thrown in - apparently, there’s going to be some lovely sunny weather over the weekend and I don’t want to be indoors doing work-related stuff.

Good morning everyone

BG 5.3

Off to see my wife this sunny day!!!

Have a great day today whatever you are doing

Morning a 5.9 for me and relatively kind line overnight after a week or so of not my normal distribution.
Another quiet day visiting Chester and then a long w/ end with Monday/ Tuesday off so looking forward to that.
Happy birthday Martin and have a happy Friday all whether you have a Crunchie or not.

Good morning. 6.2

Apologies to @Martin.A for missing your birthday - I hope you had a brilliant day.

Yesterday was total chaos: cooking, setting up computers, falling over children etc. Weather did not oblige with much sunshine so energy had to be burned off inside. Project house no good - right village but plot too small to justify re-build. Anybody know of a nice, reasonably priced house coming up in Horspath? When I say reasonable and realise I mean £700k or a bit less I have to draw breath and try not to scream - there is a lovely 12 bed mansion with large landscaped grounds in Aberystwyth for that money - in Oxfordshire it gets you a most modest abode.

Quite grey and chilly this morning but expected to clear up by 10 a.m.

Happy Friday everyone.
