GoodMorning 6.9 today

Had a good consultation with physiotherapist regarding tendinitis in my elbow yesterday
then a good day at work,

have a great day everybody 😎

Good morning people. 6.3 Have a good day yall xxoo

Morning all, 7.5 here. Reduced basal last night because I’d done some strenuous pruning in the afternoon (long handled loppers above head height) and then had a glass of wine from some we had left from the weekend. Both guaranteed to drop my overnight levels. So they didn’t, of course!

I’ve given up on pre-emptive dosing @Robin - my body never plays ball. 😛

Morning all. 🙂 6.2 here.

Weird weather yesterday afternoon - the beach was busy with families doing typical summer beach activities...in October! o_O

Good morning everyone

BG 5.3

So today I have a meds review at 9am. No problem except I got up late at 7am!!! So no breakfast until later on (I have several meds that have to be timed before eating).

Too late now to write anything more. Perhaps later.

Morning

4.5 today, aching is not too bad this morning. Weigh in day, so hoping for a loss after last weeks staying the same, managed to stay on plan despite feeling hungry yesterday. Going to take a gentle walk to my mums at lunchtime, usually I try to walk briskly but Today it will just be a nice gentle stroll to give the legs a stretch out.

@Pattidevans - cong on your HS yesterday and for your donation, I really do appreciate every single donation that I received.

@ColinUK - you, your family and friends are still in my thoughts.

7.4 after a correction during the night.
Got my flu and covid booster this morning. I can jab myself without any fuss but anyone else comes at me with a needle, I want to run and hide

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all. 6.7.

Long day yesterday, it takes forever to get anywhere in Cornwall! Camille sends us all over the place, including single track roads with a lawn growing up the middle, she’s very naughty. Anyhoo, arrived at Heligan dead on 10. We enjoyed it but it really was the wrong time of year for the best of it. Enjoyed the ‘jungle’ and the Burma rope bridge. Lovely harvest display and a talk about the pineapples they grow and the history of the productive garden. We bought some Cornish goodies in the gift shop for the hordes back home and then we went to Fowey. It was really hot by now, 3pm. Unfortunately, had to park up the top, could not find how to get down nearer the harbour. Going down was fine, going back up was a bit tough but we’re like mountain goats now but not as smelly! Had a wander around, didn’t pick the best day as a lot of places were closed! Eventually got home at 6 after leaving at 8.30am. 5 miles walked.

Weather is forecast good today, not as hot though, going to go for a short local walk and pop into one of the cafes down at the beach for a cream tea. We haven’t got round to having one yet, believe it or not. Now is it cream or jam first?

Well done again @Pattidevans hat trick today? Also @MeeTooTeeTo for yesterday’s HS.

Have a fab day.

Here’s a very small selection of the photos I took yesterday. @Martin.A I’m sure you’ll recognise some of the vistas!

First one of these, I suppose - 8.2. Obviously a bit high but, as I was only diagnosed three weeks ago, I'm not disheartened.

Got an appointment with the diabetes nurse in about an hour to see how things are going with medication and whatnot which should be fine.

Hope everyone's day's a decent one!

Late getting up this morning so was dressed and on my way to Morrisons before I realised that I hadn't tested, so no waking reading to report - Doh!

Sun's shining and I think this is the last day before the rain returns, so best get the grass cut. Had planned to do it yesterday but realised that the two WFH wouldn't want their working day interrupted by a noisy mower and an even noisier strimmer. Both back in their offices today so will get on with it once our youngest is up and about. Finished painting the utility area instead, apart from the ceiling which I'll do today.

My HbA1c result from Friday is up on Patient Access - 41. I'd worked out from my finger prick tests that I would be in the range 38-40, so almost got it right. The two previous tests were 41 and 40, so I seem to have taken up residence at that level.

@eggyg - yes, I recognise the location and have used the ferry more than once, as a foot passenger as well as with the car. Was Game of Cones open when you took your pictures? Shame if it wasn't as their ice creams are lovely.

@AshMc - my first one was 9.2 so take your 8.2 as a first step

@MrPixels - well done on the HS

Hope everyone has a good day.
