Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all. 10.5 here - oops, basal tweak done.

I wouldn’t normally post sad stuff on here, but we made the tough decision yesterday to put our big fluffy, friendly, fun-loving Bloden to sleep. She’d been going down hill gradually all summer long, so it was the right thing to do. Born in a field in Northern Spain, lived in two countries, disobedient in three languages, spent her days play-fighting with her ‘sister’ or lying in the grass dreaming of sausages...what a fab life. 🙂 Here she is...

awe , I am so sorry . RIP on Rainbow Bridge. Very sad time. Lots of lovely memories I am sure . Such a loss . Words do not say it really .

Good morning! Went to bed early as have early doors Foot Clinic appointment. Woke up half-an-hour ago with tingling, burning and stabbing phantom pain. Tried to man it out but havre now taken strong PKs. Hope I don't oversleep! :(

Oh, and BG 8.4.

No sleep! :(. Top of foot burning and outside feels like the bones are broken. My eyes can tell my brain the lower leg and foot are not there so why is brain saying it's in agonising pain! :(

BG drifted down to 7.3!

Morning all. 6.1 @ 5.16am 🙂

Been good for three days and bg going down yay. Bit nippy innit?

6.1

Meeting my ISVA this morning to talk over options now we’ve got a charging decision. Will also outline my agenda for the meeting next week with the officers who handled my case as I don’t want it to become an outcome meeting.

As light relief I’m watching Pressure Cooker on Netflix. It’s a cooking competition with professional chefs mixed with a big brother type environment. They all live in one big house and they are most often judging the dishes other chefs put up and deciding who leaves. It’s cut throat and the cooking is exceptional. I highly recommend.

Morning 10.2.
Is it Friday yet ? I’m with @freesia didn’t want to / couldn’t get up so running a bit late.

Have a good day.

Morning all. 🙂 6.1 here, ah that’s better.

3-hour Zoom lesson this morning - less than half the class turned up last week (they’ve already paid, where are they?). Hopefully they’ll “find” the classroom this morning. 😉

I love beans n pulses @Robin but they cause all sorts of BG havoc! Healthy? Ha!

A 5.6 for me today. 🙂

Good morning everyone

BG 5.1
Everything else is as usual

Yesterday was an odd one. I managed to finally sort out my new laptop so that it reliably and silently communicated with my music keyboard. I also managed to accidentally overwrite a new song I had just created these last few days. I had multiple backups but managed to defeat my own careful process by just one stupid assumption. I really liked the song (so did my wife). I was gutted when I realised what I had done. BUT, not to be defeated, I decided to try to piece it together from some scraps of paper of parts of it I had kept and actually managed to recreate it completely. Whew!

Today, I have decided to be a clearing up day. Somehow I seem to collect tons of bits of paper, NHS, letters, music in development, notes, shopping lists, old precription sheets, you name it. It will probably take me most of the morning, but it needs doing.

After that some fresh air on the beach walking. Yessss

Tomorrow more bloods as they try to sort out my meds (which, if they looked at their records, they don't need to do). And Saturday covid and flu jabs. Not looking forward to either day and any possible aftermath of the jabs. Sigh

Have a great day today whatever you are doing

Morning all. 7.1 after going up to almost 12 at 5am! I can only think it was the delicious fish and chips we had at lunch time! I did a split dose and won! Came home and had a light tea at 8pm, bolused correctly. Was 6.4 when I went to bed at 11pm. So who knows?

Yesterday we went to Padstow first for our chippy lunch. I really like Padstow, been a few times, it was lovely weather and it was quite busy. We just had a walk around the town before going to Rick Stein’s Fish and Chip emporium. We sat inside as it’s in a car park so not very salubrious outside. (@ColinUK they were £17 worth every penny). Then we drove to St Ives, they’re building a new bypass and the traffic was terrible but arrived at 3.30. Parked up, on a hill, and walked down to the town. Again, we’ve been before and love the beaches. Very busy just like Padstow, Mr Eggy bought himself a new “cardi”, not an old man’s beige, woolly one I hasten to add. Then we went to Porthmeor beach, there was loads of surfers, quite professional some looked. Then back up the hill to the car! I’m thinking of booking a cottage in Norfolk next year! 4.7 miles but “only” 220ft of elevation. I’ve got gluts of steel and calves like a professional cyclist!

Today we’re having a relaxing day. Forecast is fantastic for the next 4/5 days so we’re just going to wander locally. ***quickly Googles “flat walks in my locale”***! 😛

Have a great day. More pics, from my phone again, I can’t get my camera to focus when in zoom mode. I think it’s kaput! 😱
PS the surfer is Mr Eggy’s photo.
