Group 7-day waking average?

What's happened to all the awarded houses for HS's ?. Have the permits been stopped?
The market’s just dried up. I’m sure it’s temporary…

That’s sound a good idea @ColinUK. Direct train to Truro, I’m sure I’ve seen Michael Portillo on that line. On the telly not in real life!
@Pattidevans I’ve been to Cornwall about three times and I’ve never been to Truro so that sounds a great idea. We’ve stayed Bodmin area and Portreath ( with our three eldest grandchildren just before we retired in 2017) and we popped over the border a couple of times when we stayed in Clovelly. Been to Lands End, St Mary’s Mount, Eden Project, Padstow, St Ives, Boscastle, Bude, Tintagel and our favourite Port Isaac. Plus other places I can’t recall. Are you north or south? I’ll PM nearer the time. Looking forward to meeting you, feel like I know you already.
Crediton might be more easily doable. It’s a whisker under 3hrs from London… and it’s a much cheaper ticket than Truro is!

6.1 long, long ago when it was morning!

Still feel my head is spinning this week, really busy at work as well as sorting out some stuff for “us” with regards to holiday, retirement, etc.

Ordered an automatic curtain closer the other day, only to find I needed two of them (I wrongly assumed what I ordered was a set of two, one for each curtain, the description on Amazon wasn’t that clear!). So, I ordered another one last night only for it to arrive today and discover it is the wrong type (for a track and not a pole). Just hurriedly done a return and walked quickly down to the post office, getting there with only 6 minutes spare before it closed to mail the package back to Amazon. That dropped my BG from 6.2 down to 5.0 (and still slowly dropping). Just goes to show what some exercise can do, I must have a go sometime 😉

Congratulations @MeeTooTeeTo and @Barrowman on your HS today!

Need to relax a bit now and unwind! Hope everyone had a good day!

Good early morning everyone

Well, I had a late evening telephone appointment with an eye consultant yesterday evening. It was the oddest appointment I have ever had: confirmed my name, checked if I had any alleries, confirmed I had been referred for laser surgery on my left eye, confirmed I would get the 'surgery' in about 4 weeks time, and that was it. 2 minutes of a call. Successful but strange. I am sure a nurse could have done it. Happy all is going to get sorted because I am effectively blind in my left eye right now.

Yesterday, too I exercised for England, well, for a small village at least: over 3Hrs. Hurt a bit afterwards tho. I can see the weight dropping off, except right now I can't actually see! 🙂

Today I need to make up for the fact that I didn't do a keyboard practice, but I did help my wife wash the bedroom curtains! Does that count.

I managed to find an old dusty tattered house permit...so I've buit my own today.....

At least its waterproof, but the stove just melted when I went to make my breakfast...sigh...I bet the stress of that will push my BG up!!! Double sigh

Have a great day today whatever you are doing

@Gwynn if I knew Lego houses would suffice…

This is a little more than just a house but each block is a scaled up Lego brick. Of course if you wanted to live there you’d have to move to Bilund.

And 6.7 this morning for me. Off to the vampire this morning.

Good morning 5.7 today
yesterday looks like I forgot to post

congrats on the HS @Gwynn
hope everybody’s ok ive not read through all posts for couple of days

Good morning from a very skint Eggy, but a surprising 5.4 and an almost total flatfish.

Camille passed her MOT with flying colours, all serviced and ready for another year of adventures. Had to to pay through the nose though. £xxx. It’s shocking really, but needs must. We had a courtesy car, a Jaguar F Pace, I felt like I was in a bus! When you’re only 5ft 2ins, or less now I think, it was a struggle getting in it and getting down out of it. We flew up to our local garden centre for seeds, came out with seeds, and a bistro set, as you do! Getting delivered today. I don’t suppose we’ll get any use out of it this year, but this is the best time to buy garden furniture, there was £100 off. But still £xxx. I also got a year old John Grisham hardback from their charity bookshelves for £1.50. Treat. Mr Eggy ordered the glass for the greenhouse, that’s coming today too. That was another £xxx. 😱
Beans on toast for tea until payday! 😉 Hopefully that’s all our big expenditures for a while. Unless Mr Eggy breaks any glass!🙄

Congratulations to @MeeTooTeeTo and @Barrowman on your HSs yesterday. And well done to @Gwynn today on yours. I’ll get there one day.

Have a wonderful Wednesday. 🙂

This is the nearest I’ve had to a HS for a long time. Look at the flatfish, it’s a thing of beauty.

Morning well done on your 5.2. 🙂 I just got 5.8. which I don't get to be honest as I ate loads. All food was low carb but it all adds up and more calories. Still wish I could feel at ease. I'm up that is a start. Gotta try and keep going. Have a good day everyone.

Morning all on this dull old day. Still, most of yesterday was nice, allowing us to relax in the garden.

6.6 this morning with a really flat line overnight.

Was supposed to be having 4 friends coming for lunch today, but Julian was concerned about me doing too much, so he transferred it to the local pub, but one friend has a tooth abscess so just rang to say they couldn't come. The remaining two are still coming and we plan on having the cheese course back here (got soooo much cheese leftover from Saturday, some of it not even touched - can muster up 5 pristine ones).

@rebrascora lots of hugs, what a traumatic night you had. I do hope you find your keys and that MeMe is OK today. Hope the boys settle down too.

@gll congratulations on the HS!!!

@MartinA - you'll love Australia, it's a wonderful country, very varied and lots of really interesting places to see. The food is good too! We once hired a motorhome for a week in the New Forest - after a couple of days we settled into it and loved it. Couldn't afford to buy one though.

@ColinUK hope you have a wonderful time in Krakow. It's still on my bucket list. @eggyg Budapest is definitely worth a visit. We went for the Christmas Markets - enjoyed some superb restaurants and had a magical night at the opera.

Have a wonderful day all.

And it’s a happy 5.6 for me this overcast morning .
Went to the vampires yesterday, I was in and out in ten minutes, bit of a record that.

Have a good day everyone and stay safe.

A 5.3 for me today. 🙂
And well done to @Gwynn & @Paul Gibbins today's House Specialists.

Good morning everyone! It’s a 5.5 today for me and a nice flat fish overnight, so can’t complain.

Vampire visit later on this morning for me, must be a day for it @ColinUK ? Of course, this meant taking my wife to work first thing so that I have the car for the day, the only upside to that journey was seeing the alpacas on the way there (they were still asleep in their field).

@eggyg what an expensive day for you! It always happens like that though doesn’t it? You’ll now have to do what my Mum used to say “pull your horns in” for a bit

Congratulations to our Welsh double bill HS today! @Gwynn and @Paul Gibbins

Have a good day everyone!

Morning all. 4.2 and a fairly flat line overnight for me too...a very rare thing. The extra half unit basal seems to be stopping the spikes overnight but i'm lower in the morning. When i go back to work, because i'll be getting up earlier, maybe it won't be so low. We'll see.

Nothing really planned for today apart from ironing. Its very grey out there today and cool.

Congrats to @Gwynn and @Paul Gibbins on the HS.

Have a good day everyone.
