Group 7-day waking average?

okay ,I was naughty and had half a satsuma and 2tbs mayo as I had like a coleslaw.
so here is my items and the count
Tuna 0 carbs
1 large tomato 7.1
red cabbage 3.3
Spring onion 0.2
Hellmans Mayo 1.0
Satsuma half 2.4
Red pepper 0.8
Carrot 6.1
Total + 21 carbs
Still not a massive lunch and I still think healthy.
The diet I am following is https://www.lowcarbprogram.com
I have done it myself not referred to by GP or district nurse but originally was confused and thought it was this site as its Diabetes. co.uk just not Diabetes.org.uk
That seems to be a program you pay for although you seem to be able to access some of the recipes. It doesn't mention either either of the sites mentioned.

Morning all and 6 on the dot for me.

@Gwynn I got a refurbished/upgraded laptop from the gadget centre for recording. i7 16g ram. Maximum number of tracks I've had running at once is 200 or so without any sign of strain. I swapped the optical drive out for a second SSD. I didn't want to spend a lot as my laptops often have a hard life.

Have a good day everyone.

Felt a bit off colour this morning and with the meet up planned for today I thought I’d just do a Covid test. Positive unfortunately.

Hopefully those meeting up will still do so and will have a good time but I’m going to skip it. I know we don’t have to isolate anymore but it feels irresponsible to mix if I know I’ve got it. :(
It’s still about. A couple I know both tested positive yesterday. Fingers crossed it won’t last long.

Morning

6.6 today, still got my lurgy, so I won’t be going to the meet up today either.

@Gwynn and @MrPixels congratulations on your HS

@ColinUK - sorry to hear you have covid, rest up.

@Ditto and @Pattidevans - this is the cold that keeps on giving, hope you both start to feel better soon.

@Stitch147 - happy birthday, hope you enjoy your day.

@Gwynn - not a good idea to encourage squirrels in your loft. We had some a few years ago and not only was the noise an irritation but they had set about chewing their way through one of the rafters before I managed to get rid of them. Definite pests in my book.

And on the subject of broken computers.... yours could be quite easily mendable and quite cheaply if you work out what is wrong and get a new, often plug in, bit. Mind you, if you are using its demise as an excuse to get a new toy, then have a look at the latest generation of single board computers which perform very well, don't take up much space and are getting cheaper all the time. Of course you could go the full nut case .....

They chewed through my friends electrics.

6.4 this morning for me.

Congratulations @Gwynn and @MrPixels on your HS today!

@ColinUK hope you are ok and get rid of Covid quickly!

Hope the London meet goes ok for those going!

We have the delights of waiting in Morrisons cafe whilst the car is being serviced. But with the rain today we wouldn’t have been doing much anyway.

Stay dry and safe everyone!

8.4 for me this morning after a 1 unit correction at bedtime for a 7.1 > that I just felt sure was going to rise as I had rather too many salami crisps before bed...so knew there would be long slow protein and fat release. The salami was going mouldy, so I cut off the mould and sliced the rest thinly and zapped in the microwave and had a very tasty bedtime snack. With hindsight, 2 units would have been better but very risky without hindsight.

Congrats to @Gwynn and @MrPixels on your nominated optimum waking reading achievements.

@ColinUK Sorry to hear you have the lurgey. Hope it is very mild and you are soon recovered.

@Stitch147 Many Happy Returns of the Day! Hope you have a fab time at the beer festival.

@khskel Thanks I will look into that company

Just ordered!!! Hope it's gonna be ok.

My old windoze 7 machine was just not playing ball

yes if you read back it was MY MISTAKE. When you enter this site it says Diabetes UK and Diabetes UK. ORG. this site enters with Diabetes Uk and often links you to the NHS. website. Hence when I was looking for a low carb diet I was confused . After I paid I did not use it as it comes as Louise . So confusing .
So I have explained this now many times but Leading Lights said no connection. I refute that maybe not where she looked but I did go in through the other Diabetes UK not knowing it was different from here. i have paid Nearly £70 so yes i am going to use it. I've bought low carb books here too. But the app is easier.
I am not saying what to do I am saying what I am doing when asked. I am never going to lie why should I.

Diabetes.co.uk is a money making site. Amongst other things they used to sell specialised insurance. Several years ago I used to go in to their forum. One of their moderators claimed that the site was provided by DiabetesUK, the official charity. I poiinted out his error and got banned for mentioning it. Yes, it is confusing.

Good afternoon everyone! 6'1 this morning.

Currently sitting in a pub in London with 2 other forum users. If someone's around check the London Meet Up thread for location and table number, doubt there's anyone else coming but they would be welcome. Was lovely to meet @Sharron1 too 🙂

Afternoon all - it's actually sunny but there is a fearsome wind.

4.2 first thing this morning. It's the first day of 17 that I have not woken up coughing up nasty stuff! Yaay!

I intended attacking a pile of ironing, but by the time I'd got my act together and then done a shop at Morrison's it's too late to start.

Wishing @ColinUK @Grannylorraine and @Ditto speedy recoveries.

Congratulations @Gwynn and @MrPixels on your house specials.

What a shame the meet wasn't well attended!

Have a super Saturday all... at least what's left of it!
