Yesterday was a bit higher than I planned in calories, which I blame entirely on the homemade peanut butter cups (they were very yummy.... 90% cocoa dark chocolate and good peanut butter) as without them it would have been 1212 calories but anyway:
1695 calories, 99g carbohydrates
Breakfast: Mediterranean Veg Frittata & coffee
Lunch: Parsnip, Carrot, Leek & Boursin soup with a slice of Seed Sensations toast with olive spread & coffee
Dinner: Crispy Sweet Potato Fries, Savoy cabbage with Five Spice, cucumber, chicken breast
Snacks: homemade Peanut butter cups, pack of Harvest snaps lentil hoops
Today:
1127 calories, 64g carbohydrates
Breakfast: 3 egg omelette with chicken breast pieces and parmesan, slice Seeds Sensations toast with light lurpak & coffee
Lunch: pack Fridge Raiders chicken breast pieces & coffee
Dinner: Parsnip, Carrot, Leek & Boursin soup
Snacks: coffee, 30g salted Caramelised Peanuts & cashews
Yesterday's tea - chicken mini breast fillets with peppered salami, tenderstem broccoli and Caesar dressing. I had a couple of slices of Asda's hot cross boule too. Estimated carbs (by finding a bread with raisins in my health app that had the same calories for same weight of bread since calories was all I could find confirmed!) 25g
Stir fry for myself with scallops, prawns and black garlic teriyaki sauce with fish stock
The a risotto for Sue with scallops, prawns, peas in black garlic teriyaki sauce with fish stock
It’s hard work cooking for us both as I try to keep low carb and Sue is low fibre as she is restricted by her ileostomy
I'm treating myself today but still kept the carbs under 100gm. Quick change of plan, as I've got an osteopath treatment mid afternoon and I don't like to go on a full tummy.
1353 cals, of which 76.8gm carbs and 22.7gm sugars
Well, a totally appalling day, even for me.
Driving down the country.
No breakfast.
Lunch, coffee, steak bake, sausage roll at Gregg's in a shopping mall.
Then a Chicken Mayo at a McDonald's on the motorway.
Arrived.
Spent too long having a couple of pints in the pub, before realising all the food stopped everywhere at 10pm.
Whopper and loaded fries at 9.59 from Burger King next to the hotel.
I don't think it deserves pictures.

I was running late last night and got myself a McDonald's vegan burger fries and a bottle of water around and stuffed my face in the car before an event I went to started 7.30pm.
Really surprised that around 9pm my bg reading had got to over 14 so I'll probably not be having a McDonald's again for a while.
This morning I woke with a 6.4
I was feeling a bit dopey while I was shopping
measured my bg at 6.4 so got a sandwich (33g carbs)
and 6.2 half hour after the sandwich
And 6.9 an hour later but I was still feeling groggy and dopey so as I walked home I got a Gregg's cheese + onion bake which was another 40g carbs and half hour after the Gregg's I measured again and I was at 4.6, I measured with 2 more strips just to make sure it wasn't a duff reading and again both were 4.6.
I've only just started not feeling crappy and measured a 6.5 after another snack and a few dextrose tablets.
No idea what my body thinks it's doing today. It's all over the place.
