I only knew one because of a specific place I worked once that used specialist vocabulary. And there was yet another US spelling, though I think I may be a purist these days insisting on the old spellings.
 
Well I got a score today but only by the skin of my teeth and it is a whopper .....

Wordle in 3
Quordle was a real last gasp on the final life 6 8 9 5 =28
Octordle again on the last life with a score of 73

Total for the day = 104.
Congrats to @MikeyBikey and commiserations to @Robin.... Please look after my spoon for the day because I fully expect it will be coming back to me tomorrow.

Well, having been rained off the gardening, I managed Sequential Quordle and Octordle a bit better than I managed the main ones today.
Seq Q. 5,6,8,9
Seq.Oct. 68 with three lives left
Total 96.

I also breezed through Octordle Rescue with a life to spare, I obv function better when I'm awake, or more likely I had a big slice of luck.

Before bed effort for me tonight (morning) although I am fading fast......

Wordle in 4
Quordle 5 8 7 4 = 24
Octordle with 3 lives left and a score of 52.

Overall scare for the 3 is a reasonable 80. Will be disappointed if I get the wooden spoon with that score, but doubt it is a winner. Hope you guys are sleeping soundly and good luck in the morning.
 
Good morning! Fell asleep posting Sequential results and woke with the tomorrow I am worrying about (back at foot clinic) being today and today being yesterday I think (hypo head)

Anyway yesterday's scores

Sequential Quordle 26 (5, 6, 7, 8)
Sequential Octordle in 10 for 67

Total Score 93 - sorry @Robin
 
Grand total of 86 for me this morning, which puts me somewhere in the middle of the pack I think?

Did you? I don't remember seeing your results for the main puzzles today! Or were you being shy about posting them if they were bad. 😉
Anyway, how did the foot appointment go today? Hope it is positive news??

Total 82. Better than I usually manage, a day in the fresh air obviously sharpens the brain.

Wooden spoon territory for me, I'm afraid, with a pretty dismal 101, all down to a crappy run in Octordle.

Just done Sequential Quordle in 8 for 26 (5, 6, 7, 8). Bizarre first word did for me. Now to try Octordle variant.

Sequential Octordle in 15 for 82. Some real nasties early on including a word I haven't heard since skool and a rubbish Yankee one! :(
