Wordle - Quordle Thread

And so my attempt to beat @rebrascora !

Bad start I got Wordle in 3 (solution fir teacher)! But then I got on my stride with Quordle in 8 with a score of 25 (7, 6, 8, 4) and Octordle to the wire scoring 72!

Which gives me a total score of 100 - the magical Ton in my biking hey day! 🙂
 
Looks like my wooden spoon award is safe for today. 😉
 
Well, I started off looking to consolidate my wooden spoon position with a 6 in Wordle and lucky to get it at all! Really thought I was headed for a rare failure.
Then things improved a bit with Quordle 6 5 3 8 with a total of 22
And further improved at Octordle with, I believe, a personal best of 51 and 3 lives left.

So an overall score of 79.
 
Completed before bed and started off brilliantly but lost it a little bit on Octordle...

Wordle in 2.... jammy or what! I got a gold vowel and an unusual green consonant which really helped narrow things down.

Quordle in 5 2 3 7 so a total of 17 with 2 lives left.

Octordle with a score of 60 and 1 life left. There was one word that I really didn't like!

Anyway, a total of 79 for the full set which was the same as yesterday.
 
Pretty dismal for me this morning :(

A complete contrast to yesterday. I scraped through at the last gasp on all of them.
Wordle in 6
Quordle in 3,5,4,9
Octordle in 68 on the last life.
 
And now for my results from yesterday before I start today's. A pretty reasonable day with Wordle in 3, Quordle in 7 with a score of 21 (3, 7, 5, 6) and Octordle in 11.

Better this morning for me than yesterday's disaster. :D I was happily surprised that my 4th Wordle guess was correct, given that I only had 2 letters after my first 3 tries., though, on the flip side. I was a little unlucky to not score better in Octordle. Still, not too bad overall.

Holding my head in my hand in shame here's the illustration of the error I made the other day. Not looking at all areas in Quordle I re-entered the same word as previously, and it was accepted wasting a go and adding unneeded points!

So-so today.
Wordle in 5
Quordle in last gasp 6,8,9,7
Octordle in a slightly more respectable 60 with 2 lives left.
 
And a very similar day to yesterday, that I posted just over an hour ago, with Wordle in exactly the same number of tries, Quordle in one more and Octordle in one less.

So it's Wordle in 3, Quordle in 8 with a score of 23 (5, 4, 6, 8) and Octordle in 11 with a score of 58!

Very much a mediocre effort on my part today...
Wordle in 4
Quordle 8 6 7 4 with a total of 25 and one life left.
Octordle with a score of 61 and one life left.

So an overall score of 90.

@MikeyBikey Pleased it isn't just me who has senior moments. I will assume you were battling phantom pain at the time and clearly not thinking straight.
 
Blooming heck! I struggled tonight! Started well with Wordle in a very lucky 3 but then just squeaked through the other 2 on my last life with Quordle 5 4 8 9 so a total of 26 and then Octordle with a score of 67. Really thought I was going to crash and burn on both and was left with one life and 2 choices on the remaining word.
Anyway, a total of 96 for me today and off to bed now.
 
Much better for me this morning than yesterday's disaster. So much luck involved in these puzzles, though.

Very ordinary today.
Wordle in 4
Quordle in 8,7,3,5.
Octordle in 65, one life left, could have been so much better, or so much worse, luck favoured me once, then went against me.
 
A rather late submission of yesterday's (11/02) results. My new starter word pair did well on Wordle and Quordle getting there on 3 and 7 respectively. The score with Quorade was 22 (5, 6, 7, 4). I eventually got Octordle in 12 but was lucky I was was in a 2 and 8 with multiple choices but guessed correctly.
