A good one for me with an 'everything right after the first two rows' day. 3 on Wordle, 4, 6, 5, 3 for 18 on Quordle, and a 52 on Octordle. Total of 73.

I started after mid-night but abandoned both Wordle and Octordle to sleep on them. In Wordle I was three in and had got ZERO for the last two entries and with Octordle I was two in with no clue but knowing if you do not score by Gp 3 you cannot get under 60!

Beats me though. Nasty ones today I thought so ended up one level worse than yesterday with a 'everything right after the first 3 lines' day..... 4 on Wordle, 5, 7, 6, 4 for a Quordle 22, and a 60 on Octordle comes out as a total of 86.

I started just before breakfast but two Wordles in (Wordle for 5 and Quordle for 23) realised I needed something special to avoid the Spoon of Wood! Anyway I left it till a little while ago . When I scored on the third word I thought "We can do this Mikey" but I wrong slotted and did not!

Given that I've spent a good chunk of today trying to get an iffy SHRUB out of our garden I was thinking of that. But think that's quite a dodgy starting word so let's go with PLANT instead.

Some definite oddities in there today - I remember one of them coming up on Wordle and causing lots of people to say 'huh?'
For me it's a 4 on Wordle, a 6, 5, 4, 8 Quordle for 23 and a 51 on Octordle. Comes out as a total of 78.

My usual moderate on the first two, but Octordle went to the wire, and for once my 50/50 guess on the last word went in my favour and I scraped home.

Sub 70! Woot!
Started with a 3 on Wordle (with word 3 being a correct 50/50), then a 5, 3, 2, 4 on Quordle for 14 (last three words all had options but the fairies definitely on my side getting all of those correct). That left me needing a 52 to get under 70 which made it a nervous Octordle but managed to hit that with no guesses required.
I may have to have a lie down before attempting the weekly challenge!
