Wordle - Quordle Thread

Taking a break before tackling Octordle and the Weekly Challenge as only scraped through Wordle and Quordle but want to give the Spoon of Wood back to its rightful owner! :rofl:

Wordle in 5
Quordle 9 for 25 (3, 8, 5,:9)

Running Total 30 so need 59 or less. A tough call!
 
I'm not really here, I’m still taking a break, but couldn’t resist trying them over tea, and then got a couple of good scores, so felt the need to post them…
Wordle in 4
Quordle in 6,7,3,8 = 24
Octordle in a rare for me 52.
Total 80
Weekly challenge with HEART 5,6,4,3 = 18
 
@Robin I am torn between chortling at you taking a break and not being here but couldn't resist posting because you got good results, a love emoji and the star for your great results, even if you did come in just one behind Rob today with your total.

The Weekly Challenge result is very impressive and may well be a winner. HEART certainly didn't throw us much in the way of starting letters!

I agree but he never challenges me for my award, so I don't feel outclassed by him at all! 🙄
Now Mikey on the other hand has just recently become a real problem in that respect! My trophy cabinet has a vacancy nearly every other day at the moment! :rofl:

It is really interesting that you are really good with your own starter words, which is why I was curious to know what you used, but less successful with a set word, selected by someone else. I am consistently rubbish!!

Sadly, although I finished in 12 I scored 60. So sorry @rebrascora I keep the Spoon of Wood. Can I make it a hattrick tomorrow and get stripes like @rebrascora ?

I could just put DNF, DNF, DNF to guarantee it! 🙂

Leaving the Weekly Challenge as had another bad bout of nausea. Just feel drained!:(

Much to my surprise I crept in in second place with the Weekly Challenge with a score of 19. Would have drawn with @Rob Oldfield bar doing an anagram on my last word as I thought it was not PC these days! :rofl:

Might retain the Spoon of Wood today with a high score but might not as a tricky set, particularly Octordle!

Octordle to the wire for 73

Total Score 98! So no flake for me today! :rofl:

I’m really not here today. Haven’t got time to Puzzle, off for an airport pick up in a mo, then I have to exercise the pony this afternoon, and cope with two weary and starving travellers with a mound of washing. (They don’t expect me to do their washing, I hasten to add, but they’re both staying overnight here, and I will take pity on them and offer).

I always try and do Wordle so I don't break my streak, currently 123!
 
Not totaled mine yet but hoping to put you out of your misery Mikey....

Quordle 3 6 7 8 = 24
Octordle for 71 and was lucky as I was left with 2 options and one life at the end and for once it went my way. I held my breath as I hit "return"

Total for the day ..... What do you know, I get a Flake and the wooden spoon!
