Wordle - Quordle Thread

Let's go with CAROL
The only other themed ones that spring to mind for me a more like GRUMP, SNORE, maybe CHEER and DRINK. Not the greatest insight into how our Christmases play out

Fir Christmas week we could have WHITE, FAIRY, ANGEL or CLAUS! In fact one could do a Christmas Quordle or even Octordle?

Might post late next couple of days as need to go to bed early in case Patient Transport arrive early in the mornings! Or they might be late and make me miss appointments!

Off to a good start with a lucky 2 for Wordle, then a 5, 4, 6, 7 on Quordle for 22 and ending with a 53 on Octordle. Some tricksy bits in there I think so very happy with a total of 77.

Woke with pain an hour before alarm so took painkillers and tackled the Wordles with average success.

Back to middle of the road today, nearly failed Quordle, having multiple attempts to get the starting letter of my final word.

Pretty dismal result (4+27+67=98) here again. I tried a different starter word but it didn’t go too well. Oh well….

Iffy Quordle for me, rescued by a decent Octordle.

Wordle in 4, then to the wire with a 9, 6, 5, 4 Quordle for 24, and a 52 for Octordle. Total of 80.

Pretty mediocre result (3+21+66=90), thanks to a few bad guesses in Octordle.

Woke with a thumping head at 3.3. Now normalised and waiting for Patient Transport to physio - they never got me to podiatry yesterday! Anyway been waiting long enough to tackle the Wordles for an average Mikey in the Middle performance. Really struggled with Quordle but got a degree of redemption on Octordle! 🙂

Similar story to yesterday for me. Guesses went the wrong way on both Wordle with a 4 and Quordle with a 7, 3, 5, 8 23, but again rescued by a 52 on Octordle. So total of 79.

I also struggled with Wordle and Quordle but got a degree of redemption with Octordle but dropped behind @Rob Oldfield !

Know the feeling! Have also put in anagrams two days running!

I had 3 options after the second line in Wordle and of course I had to choose the 2 wrong ones first!

Disappointing result (3+24+66=93) here. Same as @Robin I several times guessed incorrectly on just the last letter of the word.

I have been caught out two days running by the same word TOPIC entering OPTIC first but the Applied Optics was one of my courses at Polytechnic (remember them).
