Wordle - Quordle Thread

They weren't as bad as Emcee this morning though but at least once you have been caught out by words like that once you tend to spot them quite quickly the next time around because you remember them.

And 60 for an overall 89

Couod have been a legendary one for me on Octordle as I got one in 1 so to speak. Then I thought I'd go for multiple guesses in the hope of getting an all time low score but obv got a fair few 50 50 chances wrong. Still fun to get an "ace"
 
Disappointing grand total of 102 for me. And yes, I was watching the football. Commiserations to the English fans but a good win by Spain I thought.

Well it's probably the Spoon of Wood for me today. I had so many options on Octordle I ended up with one guess left and words that I knew! :( My other results are:

Wordle in 4
Quordle in 8 for 25 (7, 6, 4, 8)

Will anybody fail on two games to snatch the Spoon of Wood? :rofl:
 
I am challenging for or should I say sharing MY wooden spoon with my good mate Mikey today but it was Quordle that was my downfall. Annoyingly I had solved the last one but just ran out of lives. I think my traumatic evening and lack of sleep probably didn't help me...

Wordle in 5. I had 4 green by my second life with 3 possible options for the final letter and of course I chose the other 2 before I picked the right one! 🙄

Happy to share the Spoon of Wood with you Barbara. I promise to be good in the kitchen as I already on the Forum's Naughty Step after my joke about the football? :rofl:

I was brought up on a farm and emergencies mainly occurred when my father did the late evening check. He had the rare ability to get medication down the throat of cattle and had been trained with IV kit by the vet. Usually it was something like milk fever or the staggers. Sadly died far to early of undiagnosed cardio vascular disease. But then I wasn't taken seriously when I pointed out to my then GP that all the male side of the family had died prematurely of heart attacks! :(
 
Modest grand total of 93 for me (3,25,66). Completed the Quordle Weekly Challenge in 23.

I have just been back to Quordle to do the weekly challenge, but despite numerous attempts I couldn't access it. Turns out I need to successfully complete a quordle sometime this week before I am allowed to attempt it. :(
 
It's a late one but quite a good one from me (Spanish time zone...). All fairly solid entries

Theoretically yes, albeit practically I'm intending to be less than my most coherent best by then!

Total Score 86! Better than yesterday but probably not the winner!

Yes, I was beavering away. Really trying to be a little less impulsive and think all the options through and it may just have paid off....

My total for todays 3 puzzles might just be a winner at 78

I also qualified for the Quordle Weekly Challenge and got 3 6 8 9 = 26
 
Managed them all today, nothing to write home about, but I improved as I went through.
