People are people. The nicest people are those with kind hearts and minds.
Any baked goods I post can be easily reduced further in carbs by making them with artificial sweeteners

2 Feb 2024 diagnosed prediabetic, high triglycerides & cholesterol and ckd (stage 3a). I also have atelectasis, ectopic heartbeat (PVC) and pulsatile tinnitus (constantly)
Sep 2024 GP confirmed beta blockers are contributing to bradycardia and low BP. Confirmation from GP - I have Focal Fatty Liver.
Oct 2024 Presented observations to GP. My big weight loss may have worsened bradycardia, low BP and caused additional heart disturbances. A meds change improved my low BP and my heart disturbances but my weight loss is paused until I can improve my resting heart rate.
Mar 2025 - Have lost another 6 lb. My resting heart rate hit it's slowest in january, and at present seems to be increasing in response to the strategies I've been using.

Working on reduced carb (not low carb) recipes for muffins/biscuits/tarts etc without using nut flours or artificial sweeteners. The website website sugarfreelondoner has specifically low carb recipes.
At present many of my recipes are experimental. I'm not using nut flours or artificial sweetener, I am adapting recipes to be lower in carbs & lower in saturated fats than those sold in shops.
I bake small batches. The muffins can generally be frozen for up to 3 months when wrapped well.
I need cake and biscuits in my life! For me treats help increase my adherence to healthy eating, and I factor their carbs/fats into my daily food.
