Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all. It was a 5.0 for me this fine breezy day....

Have a good day folks and stay safe.

Good morning folks. 8.7 today, probably the bacon and pea risotto last night. Not a huge portion but very nice if a little too carby.
Keep fit this morning was good as the weather is cooler and breezy. We had a few spits of rain yesterday afternoon for 2 minutes. Forecast about 5mm this afternoon so we will still need to water the pots. I mowed the lawn yesterday and did more weeding and bramble pruning. More plants to put in the border after the rain has softened the ground a bit.

Enjoy the flower show @eggyg
I'm glad you felt well enough to attend your friend's wedding @PattiEvans
Hope your appointment goes well @NickE

The swelling on my hand and wrist has gone down a lot overnight. Catching up on the chores today.
Have a good one folks and take care x

Lovely to see you back on here @PattiEvans, take it easy, you’ve had a rough ride and from someone who has had their fair share of big ops, you’ll need an afternoon nap for quite a while, your body has been through a lot and it’s telling you you need to rest, don’t resist. Glad you got to your friend’s wedding.
Thank you @eggyg. I am indeed having afternoon naps and today pumpy woke me at 5am as it thought it was running out of insulin. I changed it, went back to bed and next thing I knew it was 10 am!!!

Had a look at the flower show.. WOW! Looks fabulous, you and Brian will love it!

6.4 first thing after being woken up by the insistent mobile ringing in my ear, I had overslept - apparently sleeping through the main alarm by a hour and a half! Deep Sleep! I rose, groggily to my feet, and let the builder in.

Breakfast was a little difficult as the kitchen floor was up in places - difficult, not impossible but probably not wise to attempt in the first place.

Glad you're back on terra-firma @PattiEvans , sorry your stay in the France was marred. Hopefully you'll be on the mend after your ordeal. Just as well you could speak the lingo - I wouldn't have a cat-in-hell's-chance, not speaking it!

Hope you all have a good day, whatever your day brings. (It rains' here).

Morning alll - yes it is still morning! It's very grey and windy....

5.6 this morning with a lovely flat line. This HCL is brilliant until I eat anything at all and then it seems totally incapable of controlling itself, leaping up into the 10s and even 12s at times! It'll get a smack if it's not careful!

I realised yesterday that my B12 injection was way overdue as I had cancelled it whilst I was in France and have not had it since I got home, so am having it this afternoon. It normally makes a noticeable difference to how I feel, so hopefully it will today... or in the next few days anyway.

Thank you so much everyone for your welcome home messages.... they mean a lot to me!

@eggyg and I both cook, we both put things in the freezer... but the big difference is that (I bet) @eggyg labels her things. Yesterday I discovered lots of plastic boxes full of "home cooked ready meals" that all look like "something interesting" but goodness knows what! Could be curry, could be bolognaise, could be any blooming thing! So, mystery meals for the next few days!

@ColinUK good luck with your referrals. Also @NickE with yours.

Have a lovely day all...

I am also guilty of forgetting to label stuff. Hubby was less than impressed when the frozen veggie curry turned out to be stewed rhubarb. Didn't go well with the basmati rice, poppadoms and chicken tikka 😱
This was pre diabetes days. I rarely have rice now.

I label things like curries, chillis, ragus and anything in a tub now, as I was bitten one Christmas Eve, got the lamb Madras out the freezer, it’s our tradition. Busy day obviously, 8pm went to heat up the curry. It was a bloody ragu! I was livid, I’ve never had a microwave so no quick defrost. Think we ate about 10!
But funnily enough I just said to Bri yesterday “I’m going to start labeling freezer bags of meat”. Last Friday morning I unwrapped the freezer bag of what I thought was bacon, it was two pork loins! We didn’t have them in a sarnie for breakfast, but I cooked them for tea, with mash and veg, it was 28 degrees! Yesterday, the two chicken legs I’d taken out was 3 chicken thighs, so not too bad but not easy to divide up! New resolution, label EVERYTHING!

I’m so excited, never been to a proper flower show. Had to laugh, told 18 year old granddaughter about it, she thought I was taking flowers to show!

Pleased I waited for a bit yesterday afternoon.Had a gut feeling we were gonna get rain .3 o'clock thunder and lightning and the heavens opened.Pleased me and dog didn't go out . Sorry to hear this. Where there’s life, there’s hope. Hugs to you and hubby.

Sad to hear that bad news from the oncologist. Hopefully they have picked it up early enough that the treatment will put your hubby's cancer into remission. It must be such a worry for you both. Hugs and best wishes for a good outcome x

Ooh, for all fans, just noticed Sewing Bee is back at 9pm tonight, and it doesn’t clash with Bake off The Professionals, which is at 8pm!
I knew it was on tonight but didn’t know what time. That works out just perfect. Only watched last weeks Bake Off yesterday, I’ll be caked out!
