Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all. 5.6 on this gorgeous morning.

Very hot yesterday, just sat under the shade and even then I had to go indoors as I was far too hot. Mr Eggy survived his day out with the boys. I got a call at 7.45 to be picked up. As expected they’d had nothing to eat, I rustled up a fishfinger and ketchup sarnie for him! o_O

No plans today expect to catch up with the washing as rain expected for most of the week ahead.

Have a fab day.

Good morning 5.4 today
looks like it’s going to be another lovely day today, I just put the first load in washing machine, my wife decided I needed to go clothes shopping yesterday afternoon (for some different styles) me I’m happy in shorts, jeans and a football top or T-shirt myself.

I’m thinking I might go for a swim this evening, I need to book a Gym intro anyway, as few days ago I joined a different Gym / Fitness Centre / this one at multiple locations they are all on different sides of town, so no excuse to not go to one or more of them weekly
OK not so big or prestigious as Virgin but at about half the cost of Virgin Active, compared to what I paid last year, also I’ve a mountain bike currently buried in the summerhouse, maybe with a service I could build up my leg strength on that, if the mice haven’t eaten the perished tyres

Thank You for your kind words @Kopiert, I think some of us never get over the loss of those we love that have passed, for some people (with more spiritual beliefs than others) like my wife, who was originally from a country where around 90% of the population are Buddhist, has a slight different perception on life, probably best described as kind of “live for the day” not in the past or future attitude, anyway that’s a bit deep for that first thing in the morning 😉

Great to see you back posting on this thread @MikeyBikey

wish you all a relaxing and peaceful day
TC <3

Trombones (7.6) this morning, probably due to eating a banana last night!
Stuck in 1 unit of rapid and now down to 4.8.

I took the dog to Paw Paddock this morning for a mad half hour of ball chasing. It's nice because she can go off the lead there.

With the bank holiday on a Saturday few will complain about lost production,! 😉
The Bank Holiday is on Monday & some places have 2 days off for the 12th so, my Health Centre is closed Monday & Tuesday before they reopen on Wednesday! Had to order my pills prescriptions early by 1 week & got them on Thursday to cover this long weekend! 🙄

Also loving the homemade raspberry jam and hoping to see a photo of the redcurrant jelly tomorrow
Here you go. 12 jars of redcurrant jelly. Some will be used to make Cumberland sauce by adding citrus peel, port and mustard.

Morning all. 5.0 today. Nothing planned apart from a visit to see sister in law this morning. Friends may call in later for a quick cuppa but other than that, a lazy day.

6.1 this morning and it's going to be another wall-to-wall blue sky and sunshine day, though not 30+ according to our forecast. Summer house roof is ready for the new felt but I'll do that later when the sun's gone over. No way am I doing that in full sun. Other than that it's catching up with the laundry and my wife's suggested a walk through one of our local woodland areas. Plus, of course, it's men's final day at Wimbledon. I don't expect it to be as one-sided as yesterday's women's final.

Enjoy your Sunday.

Morning all. 🙂 7.5 here.

Taking mum to Bristol today to a family party. We're having to wait until 10.30 to leave - there's a cycle race and the road's closed until then. It's lovely and quiet without the traffic!

Fabulous. Where have you got your Honesty Stall set up ? It's worth a trip to Cumbria :D

Morning all. A lowly 4.1 for me on this slightly cooler day....

Does anyone use the Frio cooler bags for their insulin pens? I’ve used these for years and found them to be very effective. However in the hot spell I keep having to remind myself to re-hydrate them more often, and the effectiveness of the insulin tends to be lower as the cooling effect drops off …

Afternoon,
5.8 for me early this morning.
Not done much aside from church. The minister let the kids swim in the baptistry for a cool down which they all loved! Thankfully was so hot that they pretty much instantly dried after getting out!

Got to do some sorting of old clothes this afternoon. Fun times. Then hopefully our for a walk later this evening when it's a bit cooler!

6.5 after an evening of crazy BGs... at dinner they we're about 7, two hours after they we're fast approaching 19.6. A panic set - in so I jabbed 3u and ran up ant down the hotel's main stairway 3-4 times in a bid to persuade them to drop, which they did to 6 after 3 hours. Mind you I'm not surprised they rose by so much - I had a bowl of sticky toffee pudding and two scoops ice-cream for desserts at dinner - oops.
Once again this morning they rose after a breakfast of porridge and orange juice (too much juice) to 17.
Just about behaving now, after several hours of running about. Holidays'.

BGs aside, the weekend away went really well, catching up with old friends in the sunshine. Yesterday it got up to 32C, and today 26/27C. Tomorrow it's forecast 21C & rain - oh happy days.

Have a good Sunday wherever are/whatever you're doing. Me, relaxing in the shade.

6.9 for me highest its been for as long as I can remember, it must be the heat as ive not had any extra carby food.
My morning readings have edged up from the usual 5s, just as they did during the last heatwave. Oddly, my post -meal readings are where they usually are.
