Group 7-day waking average?

It helps living in Cumbria.
My hubby went to school in Cumbria for a few years. He loved the scenery but can't tackle the hills anymore.

There are a few Android apps that use your phone's camera as a magnifier. I'm not sure about iPhones.
This is one I use:

It's particularly handy in the supermarket when you're trying to read minute lettering on product labels. :D

I do have that on my phone but I am a bit fumble fingered and worry that I will drop my phone. o_O😱

Well! I waited for the 1st scan 13:16 BS 10.5 by which time hunger had reared its ugly head so, had breakfast of a quickly dinged chicken & broccoli bake made by me 2 days ago 13:24 BS 10.5.

I’m up now & will maybe fall asleep early today?

I had a rethink about moving tresiba & is it better to move it forward & early or move it back & later? Uhm? I’ll see what the scans are like & decide later? It’s either about 17:30 later today or 05:30 early next morning? And the next dose following that at midday again! I’m keeping the alarm at 17:30 in case I’ve fallen asleep & see what the scans are like & reset for 05:30 if needed?

Oh: my short term memory these days; the perils of not doing something straight away! 😱o_O:rofl:

Yes I know what you mean. :D Sometimes I think we need 3 hands to to operate our phones like the youngsters do.

10.8

Windy out which is good for the towels drying on the line
Better than windy inside which isn't good for anyone. :D

Well! I decided to put in 49 Tresiba just now, 17:30, as BS is still a bit high from the delayed basal & will let the overlapping now basal do most of the work of bringing higher BS down steadily & use the normal doses of NR for meals. It should hopefully all settle down slowly & steadily without too much trouble, please :thankyou:, & right itself back to normal for basal again at noon?

Decided to use both Tresiba’s until the disposable pens are done, 3 & a partial pens left: do 48 with the disposable; add 1 from reusable pen & that’ll give me the time since the last dose so, I KNOW if I’ve done it! Tah Dah! & a Lightbulb emoji! :D

8.5 much earlier on before rising past 10.5. Had my usual basal and bolussed as normal until my BG started to drop in the afternoon after playing some pool with R. My BG dropped to 7.5, the lowest for 2 days and nights'. They started rising after a late lunch up to 11 before dropping down to 7.4 before my evening meal, had a keto dinner (almost), spoilt only by the soup - Minestrone & Tomato, the bread only accounted for 2.4g Carb, the soup was 30g. BG has rising to the current levels of 10.1.

Hope you all have a peaceful night, and sleeps well.

Morning and a 5.9 for me and another flat night. Was low going to bed so had 2 Dextrose and that was perfect and had good nights sleep and stayed in range.
Had pleasant day yesterday on Wirral and a quiet one today WFH and prepare for w/ end. Hap we had bricks off brought a few more around as he was dropping his son off for football practice.Such a kind guy to do that so we gave him some chics/ sweets for his son as he refused anything else.
So carried the e tra bricks down to garden so we now have over 200 Cheshire bricks to use in garden at our leisure.
Whatever you are doing enjoy

Morning all. 6.2.

New dishwasher coming today, at last! When I hadn’t heard anything by Monday afternoon, they’d said it would be Friday ( last week) or this Tuesday, I called them. They had to ring me back, they did, they were looking into it. They called me again, a different guy now. It hadn’t made it into the van, from the manufacturer, last Friday. They were very sorry blah, blah, blah. I didn’t go off on one or scream and shout, that’s not me. Instead I put my “mother” voice on. “Well, I’m very disappointed,” I replied, “but it it was it is.” Far more scary!

Other than that excitement, I’ll feed the birds and potter about.

Have a fab Friday.

Iphones have it as well. I have it set up that so that two quick taps on the back of the phone bring the magnifier up.

EDIT: Here is a little video that shows how you can set up the back of the iPhone taps. I find it really useful as the phone does not need to be unlocked

I was thinking about speaking to a solicitor if it comes to it, my brother seams to think that once she has taken the probate grant and dads will they should pay out straight away, and there is only a small amount to pay the care home which I believe has to be done first, its how long she intends messing about taking the paperwork in.
I hate to shatter illusions but even getting probate granted can be a slog unless both the estate and the will are very straightforward. And given the sums involved here and the estrangement this is not straightforward.

Scared me even reading it!

6.0

Sat through one of the most painful dance experiences of my life last night. Thankfully it was only 65 minutes long but it felt like that was 64 minutes too long.

Morning all. A massive 14.5 for me, currently 12 and dropping (hopefully soon!). I've had some worries and stresses the past two weeks but have managed to keep levels ok. Then yesterday mum was taken into hospital by paramedics again. The icing on the cake . Cue a day of hypos which didn't even go back to decent levels when treated, until overnight i assume 🙄 .

Today i'm meeting an ex colleague this morning which will be nice as i've missed our chats and laughs. Then back home to pack for our weekend away.
