Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all. 7.1 for me. Today i plan to get up in the loft and start having a sort out. I have bags of clothes up there from when i was diagnosed T1 and lost loads of weight. No point in keeping them, i'll never fit into them again mores the pity. I'd not been the size i went down to since my late teens/early 20s. I need to have a tidy up as well, most things get thrown inside the loft out of the way.

Have a good day everyone and stay dry.

6.4 for me and i feel rough as a dog No bannas or walnuts have passed my lips think im coming down with something feel hot/cold and dizzy but im ok.
hope you are all well and have a good day
take care
love to all
xxxx

A near miss with 5.1. 🙂

Morning all, 7.1 on a damp and breezy morning.
Just let the dog out and noticed the blackbirds have been at my plant pots and dug out all the moss, they make such a mess!
I shall need to net my blackberry this week otherwise the blackbirds or the wood pigeons will eat the fruit as soon as it starts to ripen.
Went for a nice walk last night at the nature reserve, there are some beautiful wild flowers around at the moment.
Have a great day everyone.
I don't recognise the brown flower with darker tips in the last photo but it looks very happy and cute <3

Good morning folks. 7.3 today. Woke up with a headache so drank a large glass of water as I felt a bit dehydrated and took some paracetamol. Started moving around after breakfast and now coughing and spluttering like an old Lister engine. Hubby says to keep my germs away from him and potter in the garden. Giving my keep fit a miss this morning.
Hope those of you not feeling a 100% this morning feel better soon.
Going for a quick shower then doing some weeding today. Need to check the pots as we only got 3mm rain last night so they will need watering later

Have a good day folks!

Good morning everyone. Sorry I've been awol.

My meter chucked out 10.1 at 08:00am. Not surprised really coz my numbers have been a tad higher than they should be of late ~ and in an effort to lower my bgls, my GP has prescribed Tragenta (Linagliptin) which has much less dramatic side effects than Metformin. So fingers crossed but if this has negative results then Insulin will be considered!

Unfortunately in this neck of the woods it was a gloomy windy misty wet Bank Holiday weekend but the sun is trying to shine today. I hope the recent heatwave wasn't our summer!

Hoping everyone is as well as you can be and enjoy yourselves whatever your plans are.

It seems as though I’ve got the balance wrong. A night of BG’s hovering just below 10, ending up at 11.9 at 7.30am. I reduced my Toujeo long-acting insulin by one point from 22 to 21 because of low sugars at night. Now it’s the opposite. I think I will go back to 22 and see what happens.

Have a good day.

Here’s a view of my front gate with Putney Common behind …

A nice (?) round 6.0 this morning, which has dawned damp, grey and decidedly cool and it's not going to get any better if the forecast is to be believed.

Nice meal out yesterday evening even though the waitress began by reading out a long list of things that weren't available. I started to think it would be quicker to tell us what was available. To be fair the place was busier than I'd ever seen it but everyone (there were 5 of us) managed to get their first choice except me - the lamb rump was one of the things that was unavailable. Compensated for my disappointment by having two scoops of R&R ice cream for dessert instead of one.
.
Usual Tuesday swim before lunch, a trip to the recycling centre to get rid of a pile of stuff afterwards and then the regular Tuesday Cinnamon Trust dog walk with my wife before tea. Might need my light rain jacket for that.

Congrats @Colin g on yesterday's HS.

Have a good day all, your weather permitting.

Morning all. A 4.7 for me on this grey, damp and windy day...

Have a good day folks, and stay safe.

Morning all - and a horrible one it is too. Lashing down with rain & windy, still I hear you say, the garden needs it. I don't! Going out for lunch at a friend's house in town... at least the bus will drop us a hundred yards or so from her house.

5.3 this morning with a dream of a night with a nice flat line. Had the same meal as Sunday night minus the butternut squash which had run out, but last night it was managed like a pro... on the advice of the folks in the CamAPS FB group I did 50% up front and 50% as "slowly digested meal" and I had barely a bump in the line. They explained that if I didn't need the 2nd 50% because I didn't go high then the algorithm wouldn't deliver it, but on the other hand only giving 50% in front wouldn't make me hypo before the meal was absorbed.

Well... gotta go... love you all, be good and if you can't then, as they say, be careful!

Morning all.8.1 for me this morning.Over treating a bad hypo last night when I was out walking the dog
Forgot to take libre reader with me so no alarm went off .Scanned it first when I put new sensor on yesterday. So no alarm comes up on phone .No harm done .Got to wait in this afternoon for a Bt engineer to come and install this super fast broadband Says could take a couple of hours.Enjoy whatever your doing today folks

Good Morning everyone, wow oh wow, could hardly believe I have a 5.1 this morning, I am wondering if I can reduce a med :D --- will see.

Have a great day everyone with good Blood levels :D

I am just wondering what I ate yesterday... veg dinner with potatoes and chickpeas, fruits, and fruit scones. Maybe the empagliflozin is too much now.

Wait until you can see a pattern. Diabetes can be a fickle beastie.

11:58 BS 7.6

A Very G’Day Mates to you all & have a Wonderful Day! 😉

Still ended ul heading off a hypo 2 hours after my lunch yesterday & had 3 pieces of my slowly dwindling mint ball from my easter egg & then, had a NR free dinner of cuppa soup with a bag of cheese crumbles, large cheese croutons, & went to bed just after midnight. Overnight graph shows initial rise from BS 5.1 to the 10’s & a very slow drift downwards to the 7’s where I’ve stayed pretty flat ish since about 06:30 ish for a loo trio & a little bump on the graph! 2nd day of 50 basal just in & I’ll see the day after tomorrow on day 4 what’s what & if I can stay on 50 or go lower if needs be unless I get signs of seriously fast dropping BS in which case, I’ll lower basal sooner?
