Group 7-day waking average?

Good morning 7.1 here.

Been feeling really tired recently, I guess the sciatica coupled with the worry over mum's cheque hasn't helped. I realised it was a while since I last gave myself a B12 injection so popped that in yesterday and hopefully it will perk me up a bit 🙂

L bought himself a bass guitar recently so I've been pootling around with that, I played classical guitar for years but had never tried a bass. Playing along to some of my favourite music on YouTube :D

Hope you are all enjoying the bank holiday weekend.

Good morning all. 6.7 on this sunny Bank Holiday Monday. Unfortunately, in the true tradition of a Bank Holiday, it’s going to rain. Had a downpour last night, ground still looking damp, haven’t been out yet but hoping the ponds have been filled up.

A quiet day today just spent at home, as after today we have a busy week, next free day is Sunday! Lots of childcare and appointments, boob squishing, hair and financial. We also have some fun things, a trip to Lancaster to see a show, and of course spending quality time with five of our grandchildren. Today I need to sort out the girls’ bedroom for the two night sleepover for two of them, make a ragu for Wednesday’s tea, and give the house a general tidy up, haven’t so much lifted a duster since we got back from our holidays, might get in the garden for a tidy up, weather dependent. I could also do with nipping to Aldi for some bits and bobs, might walk down as haven’t had a walk for over a week. Did I say I was having a quiet day? Well, I suppose that means different things for different people!

Have a good BH and I hope your BG behaves itself.

Good morning everyone

BG 4.7 it does seem lower these days

Yesterday went well with my song at church, thankfully.

Today rest. It's raining, blustery, cold out there right now.

Got a friend comming to tea. I'm cooking beef stew.

A 4.6 for me on this dull and drizzly Bank Holiday. :(
Hope everyone else's day is sunny and bright.

Good morning 6.9 today

have now completed a week without insulin and according my Libra TIR is still 95% over last 7 days so that’s OK also over last 7 days have eaten more carbs.

Happy Bank Holiday Monday 😉

I was playing around with some AI software and asked it to create something from the lyrics of The Marty Robbins song.

"To the town of Agua Fria rode a stranger one fine day
Hardly spoke to folks around him didn't have too much to say
No one dared to ask his business no one dared to make a slip
for the stranger there among them had a big iron on his hip

Big iron on his hip."

This is what it produced.

Morning all. 7.6. Light cloud atm but showery later. Hubby working this morning. I'm off to mum's to be there while she showers then a lazy afternoon with some reading, crochet or craft involved.

Good morning everybody How are we all?
As promised Mr Tesco delivered last night, instead of the 250gm packet of walnuts he sent a 500gm bag as no 250gm in stock at no extra cost. They are still sitting on my bed side table unopened. However i did have a bannana and a small pack of vegetable crisps at 530am Result BG 8.1 this morning my fault and i hang my head in shame😡
Its a nice day here a sunny day but a bit chilly. If ###### in today he will get Indie out of the shed hes stored ib and i will go out if not tough. Unable to get Indie out on my own due to my mobility issues.
You all have a good day, a safe good happy day
Love to you all as normal, special thoughts to those on their own or who are struggling

They showed a aerial picture of Haweswater and it is so low you can see the village appearing, I do remember that happened before when there was a very dry summer. It must have been 60 odd years ago. It does look very creepy.

Good morning folks. A bit fat 10 this morning. Last thing I ate yesterday was a pulled pork ciabatta roll around 5pm just before leaving the steam rally. Hubby had AF episode later in the evening so neither of us got much rest last night. I can't sleep until I know he is OK again. Lie in this morning till 9.30am. Hubby sorted cat and chickens while I slept.

Only housework and gardening today, depending on the weather. At the moment it is dry.
Have a nice BH Monday everyone.

8 here after a night of over 9s. The wind isn't as strong as yesterday but still blowing a bit as I found, on my
jaunt out into the yonder for 10 minutes or so - should bring my BG down from the morning spike.
Last night they we're in the 11s & 12s after lunch, I brought them down before I got to bed.

I saw to my my itchy thigh and scratch-sore, I put some Savlon on instead of Sudacrem - hopefully it'll be less uncomfortable but still aid recovery. I'll be reapplying some in about an hour.

My wife had her care in this morning to help her do her ablutions. I did mine earlier before brekkas.
I've been talking with my brother who had his son's over last night for a meal, the kids over-ran his bungalow.

Have a very good Bank Holiday.

11:36 BS 6.1 🙂

A Very Good Morning to you all & have a Wonderful Day! 😉

Was absolutely freezing when I woke in the small hours for a loo trip & took ages to drop off again shivering in bed: quite a temp drop in the rain to the heat & sunshine!

Was more or less bang on for the curry yesterday in that I ended more or less where I started at; started on BS 7.9 & finished on BS 8.2. Then, had 1 no crusts beef & mustard sandwich with a tomato & vegetable cup of soup for 36 NR as well: there’s much more bang for your buck with the curry; can’t eat cauliflower & broccoli rice for every meal though! 🙄:D

I completely forgot about the Bank Holiday & ordered my prescriptions as usual last night so, need to remember to wait a couple of more days for the chemist to get it & wait for their text message; perfect timing in signing up for this new service!

Afternoon all. At long last, a 5.2 for me earlier this morning...

Have a great rest of the day folks, and stay well.

It does, I haven’t physically seen it in about 40 years, but remember it well. It’s been months since the county has had any significant rainfall. This time last year we were getting floods in the Lake District and in the villages around Carlisle. The veg weren’t growing, we were overrun with slugs. This year it’s too dry for slugs and we’re having to water every night. We never do that in May. Supposed to rain all today, 80/90% chance, we’ve had nothing, just very blustery and drying out the veggie beds and my pots and hanging basket! It gives us something to talk about!

**edited to add” it’s spitting! IYKYK! 😛

I woke up not feeling very well. Noted the 11 reading and took my insulin. As always when under the weather the BG refused to go down as ordered and stayed stubbornly high all morning. Two supplementary doses made little difference and I was at 8.5 at lunchtime so had soup and two cheese biscuits. Will stay at home today and hope I feel better tomorrow.

Nick
