Group 7-day waking average?

Morning everyone. It’s raining at the moment I’m pleased to say and I’ve got a happy 5.1 this morning.

Have a great weekend everyone and stay safe and healthy.

Morning all. 6.2 with a gradual rise and fall from 3am. Highest was 10 but it came back down so i'm happy.

Hubby is at work this morning but this afternoon we're off to see the new Mission Impossible film.

We've not long had a heavy downpour but now the sun is out, bright blue sky with a bit of a breeze and it felt warm when i hung the washing out.

Have a good day everyone.

5.6 this morning.

Dear England yesterday matinee was awful. Truly awful. I can see why it sells but it’s still awful nevertheless.

I almost left at the interval. Almost. I regret that I stayed.

Here We Are is a curious beast. Sondheim died after only having written songs for the first half so the second is largely “just” a play. They knew what the ending was going to be as it’s based on a film so someone else scripted it. It’s utterly bonkers. It’s a group of folks (one mega wealthy finance guy, his designer wife, her anarchist sister, a mid tier agent, her plastic surgeon husband, a sleazy ambassador, a bishop, a U.S. army colonel and a soldier in his command all trapped in a room whilst the apocalypse is taking place outside.
It’s clearly not finished. What there is written works and is funny. Sondheim is very much Sondheim and is skewering all of the characters in song.
The cast are all great with the only weak(er) spot being Rory Kinnear.
I am pleased I saw it and I also enjoyed it.

Good morning a bit of a high one today 8.8 (I did have burger take away for dinner yesterday evening and late on to so not unexpectedly nothing respectable today) wasn’t from a fast food chain but a long established local burger restaurant and very tasty as they have always been 😉

It was last Sunday morning that I last took insulin, I will need to be reminding myself ok I’m not taking insulin (if indeed it does stop permanently) however I will still need to be more sensible with my food choices. I’m on quite a strong dose of Mounjaro (still not the maximum dose of that) TBH I might speak to GP next month about dropping the down dose of this just slightly as for me now there seems to be one side effect I’m now seeing after 11 months on Mounjaro

Congrats on todays HS’s @RichardsUsername & @saffron15

Not sure what we’re doing this morning, not a lot I don’t think as we’ve both only just got up,I shall hopefully also be watching Monaco GP this afternoon

Have a super smashing Sunday
TC 🙂

5.3 on waking then a few minutes later it fell to 4.6 when I did my breakfast pre bolus.

We are off shortly to meet up with an ex colleague and her husband for lunch. Both were ex colleagues at one point, so I know them both really well. It will be good to catch up.

@Grannylorraine - we will be starting doing the same, clearing my parents house. It feels odd though as they are both still here and now living in the care home. But we need to get things under way to sell the house.

Congratulations @RichardsUsername and @saffron15 on your HS today!

Have a great day everyone!

It was 5.8 at 7am with a down arrow. I thought a magic HS was looming and went back to sleep until 7.40 (it’s Sunday after all). Checked my watch and lo and behold 8.9 and up arrow. Damn. Got up, had compensatory breakfast insulin and then porridge. Another diabetic day … back to 6.5 at 11am after short walk to veg shop.

Nick

6.2 this morning. Sun's playing peek-a-boo and there's a blustery wind, but no rain in the forecast so looks like a good day to get today's washing out on the line. Nothing special planned but my wife has suggested we at least go out for a walk, or maybe to a garden centre, rather than be stuck at home all day.

Congratulations @RichardsUsername and @saffron15 on your HSs this morning, and @Pam123 for yours yesterday.

Have a great BH Sunday, your weather permitting.

its another 5.2 this morning ive been crawling on the bottom line all night dipped into the red twice but didn't wake up, checked alarm was working and it was ok, hubby got hall carpet down yesterday so he now has the stairs to tackle today and we have eough left for the downstairs toilet, I shall try and look busy while he works.

Congratulations @RichardsUsername and @saffron15 on your HS

12:00 BS 8.3

A Very G’Day Mates to you all & have a Wonderful Day! 😉

Had a very long lie in today & woke around 08:35 ish on BS 8.8 & slept a couple of times more after that initial loo trip & BS stayed at 8.4 & 8.3. Tresiba already in while horizontal in bed & now will sit up for pills. Then, I may go back to sleep if I can or eat if I can’t! I just feel like I need to catch up on lost sleep today! Yawing emoji!

Hi there folks on this dreary, windy and cloudy day.

5.1 this morning. I had an alarm at 2:30 and took appropriate dextrose, went back to sleep and didn't notice that I had pulled the lead from my phone which was on charge by the bed. Accordingly it was flat as a pancake this morning, but after charging it showed I'd had a nice flat line and that "nearly" HS.

We were going to go to the local this afternoon to see a group, but as they are performing outdoors I don't think we'll bother. I'll stay in and make minor alterations to some cropped trousers I was lucky to get at 20% discount (all 5 pairs of them) yesterday. Hubby also got lucky with shorts and polo shirts. Along with the shorts I got earlier in the week we are now nicely set up for our holiday.

Took out a mortgage on a half leg of lamb for this evening... yum.

Congratulations @RichardsUsername and @saffron15 on your HSs this morning, and @Pam123 for yours yesterday and again today.

Have a good day all....

Well, I finally having the NR dose right for cauliflower/broccoli rice more or less right after trying it all week!

And it’s very low doses:- starting with breakfast & go down -4 for subsequent meals if in target range of 5-7mmol it’s 40 for curries & 32 for stir fries & mushroom or beansprouts in oyster sauce: then just adjust a bit up or down for higher or lower BS. :D

I had it ALMOST right with 34 for a chicken mushroom in oyster sauce when I was heading off a hypo in the 4’s & still ended up heading one off at the 3 hour mark so, overdid the tea & biscuits a bit to wake a bit higher today! I’d already had the curry down pat the last time I ate it, at the start of this week, & that’s amazingly low for curry as I used to do split boluses of about 50/60 each from the takeaway: of course cooking it myself I use a lot less curry paste & there’s still loads of flavour & less fat so, just 1 bolus; the takeaway was VERY intense & over flavoured & SO much more fat so, HAD to split the bolus! 😱

Obviously couldn’t get any more sleep earlier after midday meds & got up to cook & eat breakfast of king prawn mushroom in oyster sauce & gave it 34 as BS by then, was in the 10’s when starting to cook &13’s about 13:25 ish when eating: BS can go either up or down when cooking & learnt to bolus according to BS just before cooking! I got it bang on as I cooked lunch just now 17:00 BS 7.9 lunch 17:20 BS 8.8. Had a king prawn curry & gave it 36 & see if my dosing is correct later?:thankyou:

Had a very lazy day & still feeling tired today & will FINALLY catch up on today’s posts from you lovely lot on this thread! 🙄:D

Hi, late one for me but it was 4.8 on waking this morning.
Church today followed by a food festival where I bought lunch for prices I usually wouldn't consider because it was all very exciting. There was an excellent choir there singing Acapella songs from musicals including sister act, it was brilliant.
Then we saw the new Lilo & Stitch movie with friends. It was fab.
Now back home for pizza and veggies.
