Group 7-day waking average?

Morning everyone. A happy 4.8 for me earlier this fine sunny morning.

Have a great day everyone and stay safe.

It's just gone 4pm on Friday afternoon and I am sitting the shade in the garden, blame the trees, reading the last couple of days postings on this topic!!!!! I have had a g and t and some peanuts.....well it's Friday. I am T2, so not down the insulin path but I cannot say how much I enjoy reading the posts that you all write here. It's a window into other folks lives without being intrusive, I love that you all give your information freely .......I can almost picture what you are doing and where.xxxxxxxxx.

6.1 this a.m. after a night flatlining 6s. Another gorgeous day but still with the chilly breeze which has largely eased off at about 2pm.

Having a quiet weekend as my OH has gone to a two-day conference in Blackpool with some friends; she says that the hotel is a better one than the last, she chose well. She's keeping me updated every so often.

Congratulations to @eggyg on this mornings' HS. Take care on your journey back. And goot luck for your daughters' move.

@rebrascora - Please do take care of yourself, during these binges.

Good afternoon. Posting late again after a busy day. Hope your Friday was warm and dry to start a nice weekend. My reading was 9 this morning. Not the best this week.
Hubby fixed original electric cable fault then discovered another intermittent fault. Now traced to another part of the same cable so it can be fixed when he buys the bits he needs.

Congratulations on your HS @eggyg and safe journey home. Hope the house sale/purchase went through OK for your daughter

Love the acer in your photo @NickE it's a stunning colour

I like the pipe organ jokes @Gwynn and as a WI member Jerusalem is sung at every meeting. It's just a shame we don't have your accompaniment. You would need earplugs though as we are more enthusiastic than tuneful.

Sending you hugs and best wishes @rebrascora. Hoping things improve and you feel in a better place soon.
Take care everyone

@goodybags is late on parade again today a Len this morning

Its been a far less stressful day for me today, i think its helped having started speaking to my employer yesterday regarding the situation , that in the end affected my MH and made me ill, but today I am feeling really <3:starstruck:

I'm really pleased with my new laptop, mind you for the price I paid it should be a half decent one, and needed for my future plans

congrats on todays HS @eggyg
Hope everybody's having a Fabulous Friday

Oh goodness @rebrascora

Sorry to hear abiut your brother, and all the stress you are under - sounds very stressful for everyone involved. And so tricky when people aren’t in a place to accept the help they need (ore even see that they need it) :(

05:12 BS 5.2 Hey! A nice surprise! 😱:D

A Very Good Morning to you all & have a Wonderful Day! 😉

Yesterday was a gorgeous day of bright sun & clear blue skies when I finally sat in my kitchen to eat lunch & then dinner!

Just sat down to a breakfast of beef mushroom in oyster sauce with cauliflower & broccoli rice: unfortunately neither my local asda or tesco stock broccoli rice anymore due to lack of demand; did I ever mention I don’t like the bitter aftertaste of cauliflower being a super taster! It’s alright but, definitely prefer the broccoli rice on its own as I can still taste a very slight bitter aftertaste of the cauliflower!

I’m rewatching episode 4 RATW as I munch, temporarily on pause to post, & really loving the brothers this week: price negotiations slip up; better let the other brother do that, I keep forgetting which brother is which!🙄o_O

It’s hazy this morning out of my kitchen windows but, may develop into another nice day?

Breakie cooling down so, back to it! Nom, nom, nom! Half a 😛

Oh! Finally put all my stuff back on the iPad last evening after no more problems & it didn’t take long as the a the hard drive is one of those super small lightweight ones with the USB C slot & therefore cable that’s much faster than USB cable via computer that would take 3/4 hours for 200GB & now only takes about an hour this way!

Good morning everyone.

BG 5.0

Yesterday went well. Trip to Preston and back was easy and my wife came with me (her leaving the house is a huge step forwards).

Set up a new small foot control board for my keyboard yesterday too. I am amazed that it worked.

THe M&S strawberries and raspberries ard really good right now ! I find them irresistable. The strawberries are getting bigger now too...

Today rest then set up the sound system for the church this evening.

Have a great day today whatever you are doing

Morning all and despite finishing off the chilli peanuts last night I woke up with a 7.7

I have a bad habit of eating last thing at night, which of course affects my overnight levels. But I hate going to bed feeling peckish!

Just got Larry up because he's going to a band thing down at Crewkerne and it's a two hour drive. He's not a morning person so I said I'd set my alarm to make sure he was out of bed in time.

Congratulations on your HS @Lanny
Hugs to @rebrascora

Hope you all have a good day 🙂

@Gwynn I do love a juicy English strawberry! This warm weather should give a good crop this year. I grow my own raspberries but they are a late variety and don't really get going until August. Can't wait though :starstruck:

Morning a 6.9 for me and managing to stay within range.
Usual Friday night Pizza which we enjoyed and looking forward to a nice w/end.
@rebrascora
So sorry to hear about your brothers situation and hope things improve for you soon.
@Gwynn
Pleased your wife came with you and I love the strawberries and wish I could find them that big.
Nice morning out visited the fam, then to nursery where we bought 3 small Yucca plants, some other things and a few bags of compost.
Then brought them home after trip to a local farm butchery and did a bit of WFH catching up on expenses.
By BiL is out of hospital after another infection so we will call and see him and decide where else we are going to today.
Going to have a little break in Cotswolds next month but just deciding where to base ourselves.Any suggestions welcome and likely not to take any dogs.
Have a great w/ end everyone and decided just to stay happy in my own little world as global events seem to be taking a turn for the worse after a little optimism.
I do care a lot about what is happening elsewhere but as I have got older I think I just get resigned that it is outside of my sphere of influence and save myself the anger and frustration of taking it on board.

Morning all. 5.3 So near and yet…

Saw the folks yesterday. Walked in and mum said “Great! Can you sort out the telly? We’ve lost Sky and can’t find.”
Took approximately 30 seconds to sort. Yes I turned everything off at the plug and back on again. My tech prowess knows no bounds!

Dad’s becoming a bit frail. He’s struggling to get in and out of the car for example. I ordered them a pair of those car door handle things. “They’re for old people!” said mum. “Or for disabled ones!” said dad. “Yeah and you’re 82 mum and dad’s almost 85 and it’s just taken him five minutes to get into the car so I’ve bought you some. Use them or don’t use them but you’ve got them!”

Parents eh!

@Wendal That’s why I rarely watch the news anymore. I care too much and it drives me bonkers how stupid some of our global leaders can be at times.
I settled on reading the news. It’s much softer than having it rammed into my eyes by the tellybox 24/7.

Morning all. A low 4.9, that must mean early breakfast! Yeah!

Good news first, daughter and her family got moved. All went according to plan. I was getting updates, photos and videos all day. I’m so, so pleased for them all. Can’t wait to visit tomorrow.

Not so good news, the holiday is over in approximately 3 hours. It’s ok though, we’ve had a wonderful time, we feel chilled and refreshed, as well as sunburnt! It’s always nice to go home though, even if it’s back to mundane things. I quite like mundane, can’t have too much excitement at my time of life! 😛

Yesterday we had a final road trip, not far, sat and had a picnic overlooking the sea. Home and sat outside reading, think that’s when I burnt my left arm! Numpty, I obviously didn’t think the Hebridean sun was as strong as a Greek sun. I never learn, my 3/4 Celtic genes don’t do sun! We went for a last walk along Luskentyre beach at 7pm, we took our boots off and paddled all the way to our get off point to come home. Home after 9. It was lovely.

Ferry at 12.35, into Skye 2.15ish. Then at least a seven hour drive, we will have lunch on the ferry and I’ll pack sandwiches for later.

Have a super, sunny Saturday. And don’t be like Eggy, use sunscreen!

Some photos from last night, and one of Zara enjoying the space in her new home.

We’ve hardly watched any TV this holiday, we’re usually glued to the 6 o’clock news and the check again at 10 to see if anything has changed. I think that’s why we feel so chilled. We maybe need to carry in this when we get home.
