Group 7-day waking average?

6.2 this morning for me.

We have a day off visiting my parents and worrying about them with a trip to the Peak District for a photography course which I bought for a Christmas present for my wife. Weather looks great so should be a good day. We don’t start until 3pm as it will be up to sunset, so a late trip back home afterwards. Looking forward to clearing my head a bit today.

Sorry, not managed to keep up to date on this thread with all that’s going on, but I hope everyone is well and hugs for those suffering.

Take care everyone.

Morning everyone. Gosh, a 5.2 for me today, it’s been a while since I’ve had one of those!

Have a great day everyone and stay well.

Morning

5.1 today, just back from nurse appointment, I lost 2 1/2lbs this month so I am very disappointed with that, even though the nurse isn’t. Plans for today are to go to mums and might sit out in the residents garden for a while.

@Lisa65 - sorry to hear the appointment has made the pain worse again.

@eggyg - lovely photos, pleased to hear about your daughter’s move finally happening and Zara getting the school place.

@Barrowman - congratulations on your HS.

@Eternal422 - hope you enjoy your day.

8.1 and climbing. Been in horrendous pain all night. I think yesterday's osteopath appointment made it worse, she did a lot of stretches and trigger point release on my hip and glutes, and it seems to have irritated the nerve again, when it was just starting to settle down. :(
At the moment I'm on the sofa with the dog lying on my bad leg, the pressure feels good 🙂
Quite often it’s worse before it gets better. Don’t be disheartened, it’s always a day or two for me after a visit to the osteopath, and I’ve had more than a few visits over the years. Hope it feels better soon.

Thanks Lorraine. It’s just a shame we won’t be there to help on the day. But apparently they’re filling our dining room and hall with boxes as they have to be out by 1pm and they’re just hiring a van theirselves so lots of trips, if a lot of the stuff is at ours, which is closer to their new house, it means they’ve got more time. I’m expecting some will still be there when we arrive home on Saturday night! At least we are helping in some way.

Morning all - another changeable day.

6.6 this morning with a more or less flat line all night, barring a bit of a low (in the 4.1 range) for some time around midnight, which I slept through.

Hopefully we'll get those bedding plants and the 3 larger perennials in today, if I hurry up and get dressed!

Well done @Barrowman on your HS

@Lisa not a lot I can say or do, but sending sympathy and hope the pain goes soon.

As always, lovely photos @eggyg and lovely news!

Wishing everyone a happy day.

Morning All 6.1 this morning - better than usual which is definitely down to my injecting the right amount of insulin rather than keeping away from the evening chocolate! I am loving this weather and spending a lot of time in the garden which despite no rain is going mad! I've actually resorted to using our irrigation system a bit in the evenings - always seem really bizarre watering in the Lake District! I'm loving the daily news from @eggyg as she's staying in our cottage at the moment and it's making me excited about the next time we go there (not until August). My daughter is up there for ½ term so more tempting photos then no doubt. I'm off to pick up my new prescription sunglasses this afternoon so that probably means the weather will change :D Have a good day everyone x

I've just picked up my prescription. They've upgraded me to the 2+ but only given me one! Just been on to the surgery and left the message for their pharmacist to change it to two per month. I now need to wait and see, will be chasing it up next week if i don't hear anything.

@Barrowman congrats on the HS.
@Lisa65 i hope the pain improves soon.
@Grannylorraine i've given you a star. The weight is coming off no matter how much so celebrate it.
@eggyg good news about your daughter's house move and Zara's school place.
@Eternal422 enjoy your day.
@PattiEvans i hope you manage to get your plants in.

Wow! I'm impressed. 45 mins after calling i've just had a message to say the sensors have been increases to two. Fast work.

I used to be a keen photographer - I did City & Guilds Photography at college - but sadly my Nikon 35mm SLR, together with its lenses and filters, hasn't seen the light of day in years. Our youngest passed GCSE and A-level Photography and has a Canon DSLR, and I helped him with his course work, but I can't seem to rekindle any interest. I blame that smartphone in my pocket. It's just far too convenient.

8.5 this morning, a bit high. It’s such a lovely day I can’t resist including a photo of the red and yellow roses on the front of our cottage . Oh, and a bit of our olive tree which was delivered by hand in a small pot years ago.IMG_0395.jpeg

When I first saw the chiropractor about my shoulders he did say it may feel a bit more sore for a couple of days.
Years ago I had a trapped nerve in my back and a chiropractor worked wonders.

What a beautiful home! Living in a flat with no garden, I am most envious! One day...!

4.3 after flat-lining 4/5s all night, occasionally dropping below 3.9 a few times without the ensuing alarm on my phone.😳
A hypo for breakfast so a fruit jelly and some breakkas, then a ginger biscuit before they finally played the game. 3 hours later they dropped below 4.5 again - this must be the basal - I've been taking elevated levels as from a 100-day cold started out 2.5 months ago. They are now behaving...

Finally sorted out the alarms notification on my phone - they weren't on, this has been rectified with thanks to my guitar tutor, Kris. The lesson went well playing almost fluently 7 songs - Drunken Sailor, Country Roads, Whiskey in the Jar, We Control the Fear, Hotel California, You Are my Sunshine & Nothing Else Matters.

Congratulations @Barrowman on todays HS!

@NickE What a pretty home!

I’m tempted by this… at least for my next HS anyway temp_image_7D1D3FA9-E665-4814-A6CE-01E2DC9B792F.jpeg
