Happy Monday forum folks, I woke to a bit of a high one today (a whopping 11.5)
slight over treatment of a before bed low yesterday evening (when my BS was dropping before bed)
not quite HypoLow but 4.2
personally I don’t like to go to bed on anything to low as still taking insulin, but not so much these days.
So yesterday as was low I hit the snack drawer (didn’t realise there was nougat 😉 in there)
then a few slices of bread n-cheese, so not surprising really to see today’s DP
the interesting bit woke at 05:58 with the high reading, then at breakfast time was down to (@07:30) to a much more respectable 7.9 so obviously pancreas is working away well today
something else, regarding my medication
I’ve not intentionally forgotten to take any med’s but as well as the reduced insulin I’m currently doing ( was just 4 units of NovoMix morning & evening) I realised yesterday on quite a few occasions recently I’ve missed my Metformin I’m still on the Max dose of Metformin (or should be) so maybe that could be reduced, Will discuss this with GP when I speak to him next month
I can’t remember if I told you but spoke to GP at the end of last week regarding my Liver function
he re-assured me from the last 2 blood tests show looks well, so we knew my look to be all good so is my Liver, it was about this time last year when they were concerned about both those organs and ended up being diagnosed with NAFLD following blood tests & scans, this all added to my anxiety/ stress,
so good to have re-assurance on that one, I already knew my Kidneys were now effectively “normal” and no longer of concern.
Mrs @goodybags has done a fantastic job in our garden
it’s now looking quite
I stand by my claim it helped her to have my expert supervision & guidance 😉
Off for a swim / possibly a gym session shortly (currently I’m waiting on some important phone calls) and texts that will need a quick response/ reply
Have Marvellous Monday 😎
