Quite often it’s worse before it gets better. Don’t be disheartened, it’s always a day or two for me after a visit to the osteopath, and I’ve had more than a few visits over the years. Hope it feels better soon.8.1 and climbing. Been in horrendous pain all night. I think yesterday's osteopath appointment made it worse, she did a lot of stretches and trigger point release on my hip and glutes, and it seems to have irritated the nerve again, when it was just starting to settle down.
At the moment I'm on the sofa with the dog lying on my bad leg, the pressure feels good 🙂
Thanks Lorraine. It’s just a shame we won’t be there to help on the day. But apparently they’re filling our dining room and hall with boxes as they have to be out by 1pm and they’re just hiring a van theirselves so lots of trips, if a lot of the stuff is at ours, which is closer to their new house, it means they’ve got more time. I’m expecting some will still be there when we arrive home on Saturday night! At least we are helping in some way.pleased to hear about your daughter’s move finally happening and Zara getting the school place.
Wow! I'm impressed. 45 mins after calling i've just had a message to say the sensors have been increases to two. Fast work.I've just picked up my prescription. They've upgraded me to the 2+ but only given me one! Just been on to the surgery and left the message for their pharmacist to change it to two per month. I now need to wait and see, will be chasing it up next week if i don't hear anything
I used to be a keen photographer - I did City & Guilds Photography at college - but sadly my Nikon 35mm SLR, together with its lenses and filters, hasn't seen the light of day in years. Our youngest passed GCSE and A-level Photography and has a Canon DSLR, and I helped him with his course work, but I can't seem to rekindle any interest. I blame that smartphone in my pocket. It's just far too convenient.trip to the Peak District for a photography course which I bought for a Christmas present for my wife.
When I first saw the chiropractor about my shoulders he did say it may feel a bit more sore for a couple of days.Quite often it’s worse before it gets better. Don’t be disheartened, it’s always a day or two for me after a visit to the osteopath, and I’ve had more than a few visits over the years. Hope it feels better soon.
What a beautiful home! Living in a flat with no garden, I am most envious! One day...!8.5 this morning, a bit high. It’s such a lovely day I can’t resist including a photo of the red and yellow roses on the front of our cottage . Oh, and a bit of our olive tree which was delivered by hand in a small pot years ago.View attachment 35361

Lauren, thanks. It’s a terrace of workers cottages built on the site of a “plague house” used in Elizabethan times. They were built in 1862 when it was demolished by the Pest House Charity. I think originally for workers from a local orchard. They’re a bit small, but with tiny gardens front and back and facing Putney Common across a narrow one-way street. Sometimes it feels like the Country and not Putney SW15!What a beautiful home! Living in a flat with no garden, I am most envious! One day...!
