Group 7-day waking average?

No number for me today. Just a few days of more carbs than usual and a bit out of sync with things. I do need to get back to it but the birthday celebrations continue to stretch over the long weekend so I think I'll be going with damage control for a few days yet!

I had a lovely birthday yesterday - I took myself off to the cinema. People keep looking at me oddly when I tell them that I went off to the cinema on my own for my birthday treat!! But, as an off-the-chart Introvert, it was perfect!!

Mr B has booked us a night away in a B&B for tonight so youngest is off to stay with his grandparents and be spoiled rotten! Not sure who get the best deal!

Hope everybody has a lovely Bank holiday weekend.

5.2 This morning interesting shopping trip today involving picking up Patio stones which were click and collect at Wilco massive price reduction if collected, so its taken 2 days and 2 cars but we managed it, guess what were doing over the weekend LOL anyway just looking for some new garden furniture, Daughter loves the Rattan style but I hate it so its not going very well at the moment, she picked the patio stones so I think its only right I should pick the furniture we will see who wins

Try not to worry about your mum @Eternal422. It will take her a bit longer to settle in. My mum had dementia and needed full time residential care when my dad could no longer cope. It took her a while to adjust. She liked her room with her own stuff, but found the communal areas a bit intimidating to begin with.
Thank you! I’m hoping when we next see them once we’re back home she will be more settled. It is a massive change for them both, especially Mum who now does find any change hard to cope with.

Hello all at this late time. It's been a lovely sunny day but a keen cold wind.

6.3 this morning and 6.3 yesterday.

I am ECSTATIC! I have never seen such a flat line as I have had for the last 48 hours! There have been no hills or bumps, let alone mountains during that time! Meals, including pasta, have just resulted in small and gentle, hardly noticeable rises and falls. I would show you except I have not come to grips with doing a screenshot on the new samsung phone.

After struggling for nearly 12 months with the horrible Omnipod 5 HCL the Ypsomed + CamAPS HCL is an absolute revelation! I am joyous!

Spent this afternoon sitting in the garden at the local with friends listening to a very good group playing songs I have loved over decades. Great fun!

Congrats to @Colin g and @Pam123 on your HSs. I hope to get one soon!

@eggyg hope you have arrived at your destination. @Eternal422 here's hoping mum settles down soon.

Love to everyone else!

Congratulations on your HS @Pam123
You seem to getting them fairly regularly lately or is it my imagination?

Good morning everyone! 7'2.

Fun day at the pirate festival, but ended up exhausted. So many hours outside! The weather was stunning and as usual, the best part was looking at all the amazing costumes.

I have signed up to volunteer at my local Pride this year. The organisers made a group chat to send updates and for us to socialise. One girl from this group came with me to Brixham, so that's a good start!

Morning all. 🙂 7.4 here.

Yesterday’s Welsh music festival - Fel Na Mai - was fab. It takes about 50 minutes to drive there, through the Preseli hills. The scenery’s stunning, especially in the sunshine. The festival has a very local feel and attracts every generation - families, granny n grandad, teenagers, and young fogeys like me and my OH. And everyone speaking Welsh, gwych / excellent!

Looks a bit dull out there atm. Some gardening, methinks.

No wonder you were tired @Elenka_HM - walking around on your wooden leg all day. Nice hat!

Morning all and it's a 5.2 here. I have reduced my insulin from 15 to 12 units this morning. The last couple of days I have had a few little hypos, maybe the warmer weather or something. I'll see how it goes.
I have the carb counting course on Friday so hopefully I can get the mealtime insulin soon after that. I'm pretty sure that some of my abasaglar is trying to cover the food I'm eating, and I don't actually need as much as I'm using to cover basal needs.
@Elenka_HM a pirate festival sounds great!

Have a great day everyone

Morning a 6.9 and had quite a lazy day so feel have missed out on the bank holiday fests like @Elenka_HM and @Bloden at the Pirate and music events.Love the Preseli hills.
Just a bit of garden tidying so will try and be more active today as it is my 34th Wedding Anniversary.
As we have been saying all that time “May the 4th be with you”.If you are Star Wars Fans then saying it may mean a bit more.
Have a good day one and all

PS Congrats on HS Lisa.Forgot to mention it on my last post.

A nice (?) round 6.0 on this sunny Berkshire morning. Cool, though. Yesterday turned much cooler during the afternoon and by teatime I was back in a sweatshirt. At least it's dry.

Couldn't finish painting the inside of our summer house yesterday as I ran out of paint, so I need to pop over to The Range at some point to get some more. My wife has also suggested a day out at Wallingford today as the Cholsey Wallingford heritage railway is operating for the Bank Holiday weekend, so might be doing that. Neither of our boys are at home anyway, our youngest has an 8 till 5 shift and left a short while ago and our eldest's futsal team have an away match at Hartpury in Gloucestershire. It's the penultimate match of the season and they need to win this and the last one to qualify for the play-offs.

Congrats @Lisa65 on your HS today and @Pam123 on yours yesterday.

Whatever your plans, enjoy Star Wars Day.

Well done to @Lisa65 for your 5.2 today and same to @Pam123 for yesterday's.
A 5.5 for me today. 🙂
