Group 7-day waking average?

Congratulations @Lisa65 on your HS.

Glad you've made camp @eggyg , enjoy yourselves. Great photos.

Morning and a 7.1 for me after a rise overnight and no correction dose but a good sleep.
Went to a car boot yesterday for first time this year and must admit not my favourite event but wife loves it and is a nice excuse to get outside.
Then we went out for a nice lunch and then bit of gardening and watching TV.
Have a few solicitors forms to fill out today as part of a conveyancing but I do keep the old leases and same solicitor so their job should be easier.
Then more sweeping up of tree blossom and then a nice week at work.
Will try and do a walk as well as not been doing much lately and I do enjoy it.
Dog recovery doing really well but is funny as he returns from walk covered in blossom on his paws and face and look like he is wearing carpet slippers and a ginger wig ( normally looks like a little black monkey).
Have a good one and happy VE Day as we do owe so much to so few left.

Good morning, just missed out today with a 5.3.
Unfortunately I have a flare up of sciatica and can hardly walk, the pain is horrendous :( didn't get much sleep.
I hope you all have a lovely bank holiday x

Morning All - 7.2 for me this morning. Didn't really have a proper meal last night as big Sunday lunch at a local pub at lunch time so had a snack bowl and didn't take any insulin so quite high peak after I went to bed. Up early at Wilbur started woofing at 6am and as my daughter is in the bedroom above where he is I didn't want him waking her. He of course is now crashed out in a basket and I'm properly awake 🙄 No big plans today as daughter & boyfriend heading back down to London. Trains are all up the spout between Penrith & Euston so I'm taking them over to Appleby and they'll go via Leeds - added bonus then for them to go on the Carlisle to Settle railway especially on a lovely day. My youngest son has been running in the mountains all weekend and camped for 2 nights as part of the Great Lakeland 3 Day fell/adventure race. Sadly his knee that has been troubling him for several months decided to let him really know about it and yesterday he ended up having to resort to walking and was out for 11 hours - he has switched to a different category today (from the Extreme) and says it's only 18km today . This probably scuppers his plans for the big race in September that he has been training so hard for over the last year (Dragons Back - 6 days running down the length of the spine of mountains in Wales from Conwy to Cardiff). Have a lovely Bank Holiday Monday everyone xxx. PS; hubby is in Svalbard and sent this amazing pic of an arctic fox the other day. That's not our boat in the background but makes for a rather lovely photo ...

Morning all from sunny Harris. 5.9.

Had a lovely day yesterday exploring the locale, especially the beach, it’s absolutely amazing. Although the sun was out it was bitterly cold as the wind was quite brisk! Very light winds today so should feel warmer, it doesn’t bother us as we don’t like it too warm as it’s uncomfortable for walking in. I had plenty of layers on and my trusty woolly hat! I’m hoping to strip off one layer today and leave my hat in my rucksack. We haven’t made any plans today we’re going to wing it. Lots of places to explore without getting in the car, we’re just enjoying chilling out, something we don’t seemed to have done much of this year.

Hope everyone has a great Bank Holiday Monday, I’d forgotten to tell the truth.

Here’s some photos of the stunning Luskentyre beach, just a few minutes walk away. Maybe not quite as dramatic as @zippyjojo photos, brilliant BTW.
The white Highland pony is Mr Eggy’s photo, he’s called Toby apparently ( the pony not Mr Eggy!)

Morning all. 🙂 8.4 here, sigh.

The trains are up the spout all over @zippyjojo (amazing pics!) - no wonder everyone’s got a car these days. We dropped our friend in Carmarthen at 11 for the 11.27 to Bristol Temple Meads. He texted at 6pm to say all trains cancelled at Cardiff, bus to Newport, an hour waiting on the platform with no info...then he’d been offered a bus to Gloucester then on to Bristol...good grief!

A cow...on the beach...wow...fab pics @eggyg. Enjoy your relaxing day.

Anyhoo, looks nice and sunny out there. Got some lesson planning to do later, but I think I’ll do some gardening first.

A 5.9 for me this morning. 🙂
Happy Bank Holiday to all those who would have been working.

Dez

It's a lovely, sunny start here but still cool and I needed a coat while out and about yesterday. Our day out in Wallingford was a bit of a damp squib as far as the heritage railway was concerned. Hardly anyone there, and although the train was running only 16 people got off when it pulled in and, big disappointment, it was pulled by a diesel rather than steam. We decided to skip a ride and head back into town. Nice lunch in what used to be Wallingford's Post Office, although could have done without the live music as it made conversation difficult. Afterwards we had a browse around a couple of antique shops and my wife found some things to buy, so a result in that sense.

Our eldest's futsal team drew their match so they can't qualify for the play-offs now. He was not a happy bunny when he got home, even though he scored one of their goals.

Nothing special planned for today, although we need to pop over to The Range to get some more paint for the summer house and it is our town's annual May Fayre. We might wander into town and take a look.

One of these for me this morning:-

Enjoy your Bank Holiday Monday.

Good morning. 6.2. Beautiful sunny morning but a sharp, cold, breaze. Absolutely freezing at 03.30 to 06.00. 2 duvets insufficient. Still cant get heating to work. Lit 2 gas jets on cooker while
I made a hot cuppa. Sun now providing warmth - looking forward to boys being back on site - if they cant fix heating then hopefully they can dig my blow heater out of the packing.
Plans for the day - avoid all VE day stuff on TV...it doesnt seem that we have progressed on the road to peace since then.
Hope everyone has a good day.

5.2 yay me!

The dance thing last night was a real mixed bag. Interesting contrasts sometimes between the dance styles and the music as there’s clearly a trend for hip hop/break dancing/street/krump (no I dunno what that one is either) choreo to be paired with classical music. On the whole wasn’t my thing at all even though I could appreciate the talent on display.

Sadlers East tonight to see a piece based on Kane and Abel danced by a set of twins.

Had a low at about 2am and took some glucose, so it’s 8.2 this morning on waking. I find it always difficult to gauge how much glucose to swallow. Still, not a bad guess. Off to collect my grand-daughter from the Decorative Arts Fair in Battersea Park where her Mum is setting up her stand for tomorrow’s opening. Plug: Florence Evans Fine Art, .

I have a ticket for tomorrow!

Morning

4.8 today, feeling better so hoping I can eat normally again and not bland, beige food. Hubby is off which is nice for a Bank Holiday, although plans are to go to FIL house, to check on post etc, btw it is now officially up for sale, maybe go shopping as we haven’t been for a big shop in over a week and maybe some crotcheting or knitting I haven’t done either for a few days.

@Martin.A and @ColinUK - congratulations on Bank Holiday HS,

@Lisa65 - sorry to hear about the sciatica, hope it eases soon.

@eggyg - lovely pics.
