Group 7-day waking average?

Morning

3.9 for me this morning, no plans today, hubby has called to say water leak has been fixed at FIL house, so that is good.

@Eternal422 - pleased to hear your parents made the move.

@freesia - link below, if it doesn’t work it was a Mary Berry recipe in GBBO website.

So opticians were pleased with the health of my eyes but my vision has changed. It’s improved for distance but equal and opposite in near. So I asked them to price up the same lenses I have in my current frames with the new prescription. £370 just for the lenses. £470 for new frames plus lenses.
I think I’ll wait.

Try ASDA. I paid £139 for varifocals with light sensitive lenses, anti-scratch coatings and all the bells and whistles. Been going there for years. https://opticians.asda.com/popular-glasses

I got my previous pair from Asda. There’s not one local to me at all plus they screwed it up and the focal centre was wrong as was the graduation between focal lengths.
Then they point blank refused to accept that anything was wrong.

Morning all. Yet another sunny, warm morning here and a happy 5.4 for me today.

Have a look at the Specscart website. I’ve used them twice. Very reasonable prices, very good service - really recommend them.

It's another lovely, sunny Berkshire morning and set to stay that way all day. Took the covers off the garden furniture yesterday for the first time in a while and enjoyed a coffee and the newspaper down down in the patio. Same today at some point.

Our plumber's just left after taking out the radiator in our hall so that we can paint behind it. He's going to fit a more modern one from Screwfix once the wall's done. Was surprised to see textured vinyl wallpaper behind it. I'd forgotten that we had that on the walls when we moved in 22 years ago.

Swim later, as usual on a Tuesday, and a run out to the garden centre to pick up some fresh fruit and veg. One of these this morning:-

Congrats on yours yesterday @Pam123 and enjoy your trip to Ireland @Eternal422

Enjoy the Spring sunshine, everyone.

Hmmm pity. Although our nearest is over an hour away, they've always been very good with my glasses.

Morning was 6.9 this morning

didn’t take insulin again yesterday evening, had mackerel on toast followed by a banana, I've been trying to see how my BS is reacting on the reduced insulin
still taking 4 units in the morning but so far I think that’s four evenings where I’ve not taken my tea time jab

I never made it over to swim yesterday nor did I go out for a walk
but my watch said I got 11K steps in, was busy clearing out (slightly in the garage)
did a tip run where I needed to ask one of the guys to help as they now have steep ramps up to the various recycling points
Mrs @goodybags will be happy if I can clear another car load away to the tip from the garage today….
we will see

Congrats on the HS today @Martin.A and to you on yesterday’s @Pam123
@Grannylorraine glad to hear the leak at your late FIL’s house has been sorted
great your parents are settled in @Eternal422, with that off your mind you will be more relaxed on your forthcoming holiday Tony

Hope everyone has some of this Springtime Sunshine
TC

Good afternoon folks. Finally sitting down after a busy morning and just noticed it's past noon.
6.2 this morning, so I am pleased with that. As the weather was lovely this morning decided to walk to my keep fit class in the next village. Took me just over half an hour. Arrived with 2 minutes to spare as I left 5 minutes late due to forgetting stuff and going back twice. Took 40 minutes to walk back after a very vigorous session and it was getting quite warm then.
Clearing more of the boundary this week behind where I site my beehive. Currently bee-less. Unfortunately they didn't survive that very cold snap in early March. I have been offered bees by two friends in our local club in the next couple of weeks so need to get the dead trees down and clear the undergrowth pronto.

Congrats on your HS @Martin.A also @Pam123 for HS yesterday. Your large pond sounds lovely. Do you have any photos?
Have a lovely day in the sunshine everybody.

7.7 for me following a raised basal from last night, quickly rising to 8.3 then 9.6 respectively. Dropped nicely after lunch; 7.2 now. My Oximeter arrived a couple of days ago, so been checking our blood ratios.

Been having yet more appointments to and tomorrow for the both of us. Have to try not to get into a right froth about them, anxiety is hard but calmed down after my meeting with my Care Co-ordinator today.

I've been watching Ronnie, in the Snooker this afternoon after a twenty-minute walk early on.

Hope you're enjoying the weather, if it's nice where you are. We've pulled the curtains together in our south-facing living room, and finally knocked off the GCH now the temperature is hitting 10C through the night!

Congratulations to @Martin.A on your HS today.
