Group 7-day waking average?

Morning everyone. Another sunny morning here and a happy 4.5 for me earlier.

Have a good day everyone and stay well.

I did wonder if the spare dishwasher was one for milk, one for meat? But probably not if it's in the garage! Not that strict?
I don’t think a separate one for each is needed tbh. Unless you’re very observant I think you’d argue that as everything that comes out of a dishwasher has been sterilised it’ll be OK. Especially if you only have milk or meat things in there at a time. And probably run the machine on an empty cycle between loads. Or line it with silver foil or something equally bonkers.

I had 180 carbs yesterday (way above normal) and went to bed on 8.6 this morning at 730am i was 4.9. I will never understand the diabetic fairys ways
Hope you are all well and having a good day. take care everyone

Good morning 5.8 at 9.30. Had woken at 3.35 and, tempted to get up, did test 9.9. Lay back wondering why and fell asleep...Woken by builders tiptoing about and trying to nail quietly! Got to laugh. They are on the second bedroom ceiling. Still cant stand/walk with crutches so no idea how/if they can get me into caravan by end of week. Block and tackle?
Lovely morning here. Nice acer outside window waving delicate leaves to me. Mr Wolf hove into view earlier - looks like a bkack lion after Steph clipped him - buzz cut everywhere except mane.
Wishing everyone a good week.

4.7 at 7am this beautiful morning, but arrow pointing down. Waited a bit then took my usual 5 units before porridge breakfast. Changed my sensor. Then had a low afterwards and had to compensate with glucose. Now OK again. Another diabetic day, never a dull moment. If only …

Nick

Oh @TinaD I am so sorry to hear of your plight and hope you can soon graduate to those crutches.

Morning all - on the whole I think it could be said it's a nice day, but the sunlight is rather hazy. Hubby off out to paint our larger shed and slapping sunscreen on.

5.9 @ 8:15. Not too bad for this useless pump!

Am quite annoyed because been waiting in the house for DPD to deliver a replacement sensor from Abbott only to find out that the driver "could not locate the premises" - the whole road has been here 8 years!!! In addition DPD have delivered parcels from Abbott multiple times in the past. As have every other courier service. Does the moron not have a sat nav????? Course you can't ring em.

I have a chiropractor appointment this afternoon, apart from that I am not doing a lot apart from another run through of the online training for CamAPS. Dinner is leftover roast chicken and accompaniments.... more greens perhaps, but not too much effort.

Ah well, I must not be ratty all day.... off to make lunch. Hope everyone has a really nice day!

10.4 after a night of relative highs despite having a correction of 3u at 0100. The virus returned with gusto and I spent the bulk of yesterday coughing and snuffling, as well as this morning. On the same step for changing my sensor as Nick this morning hence the long wait to take my BG reading - long after FOTF. The reading by FP was 10.7.

Just back from my ten-minute walk which I try and get in, sometimes the only walk I get in, but it's a nice day besides being cloudy; quite warm too.

Yesterday was spent chiefly in the garden trying to clear the winters' leaves - but the patio needs a good brushing now, then I can start on the raspberry and rhubarb patch (we found the original Rhubarb rhubarb short comedy sketch from the 70s or 80s tv, together with the original 'the Plank' both with Eric Sykes and a plethora of 50s-80s comedy stars on YouTube afterwards).

Afternoon.8.1 for me this morning.Strange night last night Low alarm went off at 4.1 .Body was telling me different..Got the munchies real bad Two JB s Half a bar of 33% less sugar thin chocolate.Five Brazil nuts and two malted milk biscuits.Been a while since I blacked out and lost four hours of my life I wont get back whilst the thing in the oven was burning nicely.Luckily I jumped into action first so avoided it . Lovely day up here sitting in the tea room garden watching the world go by Enjoy your day people

A much happier bunny waking up twice today.

A Very G’Day Mates & hope you’re having a Wonderful Day? 😉

I only remembered to check my purse wallet last night & I only have £3 in it so, not enough for a one way bus ticket so, I’ll get some more money from the hospital cash machine later: haven’t carried much cash as my local firm introduced card swiping during the first lockdown; just get the odd £10/20 from cash machines now & then for the little things!

Just sitting waiting for my taxi now at 14:45.

Oooh! ALMOST FORGOT! 1st time Just before midday alarm before loo 11:43 BS 5.0. Dozed off & midday alarm woke me, reset for 14:00 & went back to sleep. Woke again just before the alarm 13:53 BS 5.7! :D Haven’t woken in the 5’s in ages & did it twice in a row. Frenzy of activity of basal, pills, no BSOC, bathroom, brushing hair & just sat down to post so, a rise there just now 14:07 BS 8.4.

Decided not to eat as I’m feeling too queasy to eat! Better sign off now & get my socks & shoes on that I always leave to last! Catch up later after I get back!

5.2 this morning just off to the gym then more gardening, just ordered a ton of top soil were filling in the small pond to make a small area for daughters Egg chair, its filled in so far with stones and rubble, were just going to level it off with top soil then buy a formed paving area should look nice, I didn't really want to change it but the big pond takes a lot of running what with pumps UV and filters and a skimmer, we have some lovely Koi and two sturgeons

4.8 this morning.

Today we moved my parents into the care home. Thankfully all went well and wasn’t as bad as I thought it might have been. They are now in their rooms and even had a three course meal each at lunchtime. We unpacked for them both and got everything they need, at least for now. The staff are wonderful and all so pleasant and caring so I think we have made the right choice. At least now we can breathe a bit of a sigh of relief and enjoy our mini holiday with my wife’s aunts, uncles and cousins in Ireland. So @Lanny, we will be over in the province from Wednesday, make sure you keep the sun switched on for us 😉. We both just need a break to recharge our batteries and restore some mental health!

Just to add to all that’s been going on we had a van hit our car in a motorway service area car park whilst stopping for the loo on the way to my parents to sort things out for them before the move today! Luckily our insurers have been brilliant and getting things sorted efficiently for us. The damage is a scrape along the rear wing and a cracked light cluster but nothing that prevents us from driving thank goodness!

Congratulations @Pam123 on your HS today!

Sorry, not had a chance to catch up on other posts yet, hopefully life will calm down now a bit for us and I can get some time back!

Take care everyone!

I’ll do my best but, no promises! :thankyou::rofl:

Just back from the blood tests & munching a hospital bough ham & cheese sandwich! Unfortunately very swingy day as DP raised me to 16:40 BS 17.0 Ah well, stuck in max 60 NR & see how it goes? May still be a ad high at next meal & correct then as I don’t like sticking in more than 60 at once? 🙄 The hospital corridors were relatively easy today so, good signs for taking the bus up on Thursday & got cash in my purse/wallet? :D

I’m starving NOW & couldn’t eat a bite earlier! 🙄 Medical appointments butterflies in stomach! o_O

Glad you’ve got your parents settled. That must be a great weight off for you. Enjoy your break.

Wow you have had a lot going on Tony. So glad to hear that your parents move went smoothly. I hope you and your wife have a lovely break in N Ireland and come home feeling refreshed and relaxed.

Thank you! Already it feels better as I know they now have lots of care and they are already accepting help from the carers in the home. So I know that they are in the best place.

Thank you! Looking forward to getting some idle time visiting my wife’s extended family over there.
