Group 7-day waking average?

How about for a bit of fun if people who test in the mornings post their waking levels? I think it would be interesting to see what the average works out at after a week 🙂

I'll start with mine - I was 6.0 when I woke up this morning 🙂

(please don't let me be the only person to enter one! 😉)
Mine was 5.6 this morning This sunshine certainly helps

Morning a 6.6 for me and a correction dose after having Porridge last night for first time in a long time.
Very nice lunch out and afternoon in garden as weather was so nice.
Bathed the two of our dogs that are going to boarders today and they were mucky pups but had the full “ cheap spa day” experience.
Off to Manchester later and still to work out do I get a lift/ taxi or leave my car but will call in later and sort out.
Won’t take much packing as only an overnight stay so quite a leisurely trip so have a good week all as looking Scorchio.

Morning all. Scores on the early doors. A nice round 6. Happy with that.

Another day at the homestead, this week is mostly being spent prepping for hols, ie cleaning the house from top to bottom, keeping up with the laundry, and trying to concoct meals from what we have in the fridge! We’ve got one day of looking after Zara and Eden, Wednesday, and middle daughter, eldest granddaughter and baby Rocco are coming for lunch the same day. Now there’s a challenge I’m willing to accept!

I may nip into town when I get sick of domesticity ( probably at about 9.30am)! I’ve something to take back to Marks and Spencer’s and I’ve realised I need some books, not feeling what’s on my TBR list, I’ve got dozens of books on my iPad but I still need some real ones too. Any excuse! :D

Have a Happy Monday folks.

Morning, 6.7 for me after indulging in a curry last night!

Our fridge freezer broke yesterday. Husband arranged to borrow his mum's spare fridge (love that a 'spare fridge' is a thing!)
Much heaving and squishing of said fridge into the car and transporting it across town.

...turns out the light bulb had gone in original fridge freezer. Food was still icy cold when we got in. It just wasn't making a noise when husband first checked. Whoops....

5.9

ECG this morning and then my intention is gym before heading to therapy. So lots of walking about today so I’ll easily get my steps in.

Never knowingly had an ECG before. Think I had one at A&E twice over the years but can’t recall.

@eggyg I’ve just started reading Crisis by Frank Gardner (the bbc correspondent). It’s a spy thriller and it’s a decent story well told so far. It’s first in a series of four I think. Not read any of his before but recommended it to mum and she’s enjoying it as well.

@Lauren My folks also have a spare fridge freezer. And a spare stand alone freezer! Plus spare of almost anything you could ever need or want in the way of household/white goods. Only thing they don’t have spare is washing machine. But they do have a spare dishwasher! It’s all very neatly arranged, plugged and plumbed in and operational in the garage.

Morning all. 🙂 8.8 here...good grief!

Hubby’s away at a funeral today...it’ll be a tough day for him, he’s a pall bearer and will be giving a eulogy. Must remember to ring him for a phone hug before I go to work.

Looking sunny out there. Got a bit of a cold, but I’d rather be ill-ish when I’m working than on my own time LOL. Just the two classes today...and hopefully a phone call from my DSN.

Happy Monday, folks.

Got a bit of a cold,
We’re both brewing a cough and cold, we knew we wouldn’t escape it as 5/8 of the lodge residents at CP were full of it. But we’d rather have a cough and cold in Harris than at home! Better scenery! 😉
Hope you feel better soon.

Morning all, 7.6 here, dawn phenomenon kicking in even though I did a load of gardening and had a glass of red wine yesterday, that normally knocks it on the head. Off for the supermarket run in a mo, the cupboards are bare, had son working from home from here all last week, I’m sure there’s a link there somewhere.

Morning all. 5.1, no cheese and crackers with a glass of wine last night. Today i need to see mum though i'm not sure what time as she was told yesterday she needs to see a GP today. As mum prefers to only see one GP its hard to get an appointment for him so i hope she's up and ringing early.

Its going to be lovely, sunny and warm again today. Enjoy your day.

Morning a Double Len today (I think that’s what we call 7.7)

Over the weekend I pulled something in my back, it’s not as bad today as it was yesterday
wife had some Thai herbal ointment which has helped, might try a swim / spa this morning
currently I'm using Virgin which has a health suite etc I keep saying to myself I’m going to use that place more as it’s certainly expensive.

Supposed to be going to the tip today, we had a clear out of the summerhouse over the weekend, but maybe that can wait until tomorrow

It’s going to be a nice day here today, so plan is to take a walk later get some excercise & get straight in my head, some things regarding BTW (possibly next week)

Happy Monday everyone
TC

Morning all

A 4.9 for me on this sunny Monday. Busy week ahead for me. Hope everyone is doing OK.

Hope your husband finds the funeral a helpful part of the process @Bloden

Congrats on the near miss @freesia 🙂

A 5.4 for me today. 🙂

Brilliant. Good to be prepared!

Morning folks. 8.8 for me :( not sure why as total carbs yesterday around 120g and I was quite active in the garden.
Finally chopped down the huge elder tree that was growing through the old chicken run we are dismantling. Made more difficult as previous owners put tarp on top of the chicken wire then weighted it down with rocks and several lengths of decorative metal work screens. The tarp had long disintegrated but the elder grew through it all.
Back to normal gardening today. Weeding and tidying the fruit cage and mowing the lawn, which I find very therapeutic.

Sending condolences to you and your husband @Bloden . My brother did the same at my father's funeral and I remember how difficult it was for him.

Have a great holiday @eggyg Hoping your cold is nothing more than a minor sniffle. Looking forward to seeing some photos.

ECG is painless @ColinUK . It takes longer to apply and remove all the pads at your pulse points than the actual reading. Fingers crossed for a positive result for you.
Happy Monday to everyone!

I did wonder if the spare dishwasher was one for milk, one for meat? But probably not if it's in the garage! Not that strict?

We're supposed to be getting a mini heatwave this week and today has started nice sunny, so maybe we are. Almost finished the decorating yesterday but still have a little bit left to do. Shouldn't take long, though. I then need to get hold of an electrician as my wife came back from B&Q with six light switches and two plug sockets, all black. Our hall, stairs and landing walls are so light now that the old white ones don't really go. I've changed the odd switch or socket myself in the past but as there are so many to do I'd rather a sparky did them this time..

5.5 when I tested this morning.

It's another 3-WFH-Monday. I'll say no more. Have a good start to the week, everyone.
