Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all and a glorious blue sky and sunshine, but a brisk wind unlike yesterday.

5.9 and it changed to 6.2 right in front of my eyes!

Was hoping to go for a walk with my friend, but apparently the workmen started on the roadworks right outside her house at 4:15 am this morning and she is shattered. The works have been a nuisance right through the village, with traffic lights holding things up and no pavement plus bus stops which move daily! Go to the main road and scratch your head as to where the busses are stopping today! They've been going on since beginning of March and show no signs of being finished. They are digging holes right across people's driveways with no notice, trapping their cars in if they aren't watching and blocking egress onto the main road from side roads. Nightmare, fortunately we have been lucky and able to get out of our road so far.... So I might do some grocery shopping instead of the walk.

@Quill, fingers crossed for your visit to the GP and hope the lump is benign.

@Quill i hope the appointment goes ok and either you are referred quickly or have your mind put at rest.

Well, i've cleaned all the windows, inside and out, upstairs and down, clambered over things and stretched, given myself a good workout. So how come my levels have gone from 4.8 to 11.1?!! Seems housework/exercise is bad for me 😉
 
5 this morning and a flat 5 all night very happy with that, sat waiting in for the new shed to arrive its very frustrating as the tracking said it was in Nottingham at local courier depot yesterday which is about 20 miles from us but as of 3.27am today its miles away in Sutton Coalfield which is the opposite direction and around 70 miles for us, and hasn't moved at all

Been an age! 4.7 this morning (usual is 4.5-4.8), so happy with that. Lots of marking and admin today in the dumpster fire that is UK HE. At least it’s Easter break!
 
Good afternoon folks. Finally got around to catching up with the forum although I forgot to log out last night. Went to bed a bit zombie like but slept really well.
Yesterday's nettle picking and soup experiment went really well. I posted the recipe and photo under @rebrascora 's soup thread. Would definitely eat it again.

Went round to an elderly friend today as she needs help cleaning her fish tank. It's 5ft long and 2ft w x 2ft d. On a large custom cabinet as well. Her husband and her are both in their eighties and both have mobility issues which have recently got worse. Did a bit of tidying and topping up of the filter tank. Going back there on Thursday morning to do a major clean up of tank and filters with hubby's help. We kept tropical fish for over 30 years. Last tank was 4000 litres. We don't have the space now.

6.1 today which I an very happy about on a day full of visits and telephone appointments. My sodium levels are something getting close to non-existent, the Doctor wants' me to cut the amount of water I'm consuming from 6 to 4 pints a day. Also booked me in for repeat blood tests next week.

Congratulations to @MeeTooTeeTo and @Grannylorraine your HSs.

Good your BGs are in range @goodybags My father had to have multiple injections to the eyes - he lived in terror each time he had to go up. So I hope you're not in the same fear group.

It is quite serious having low sodium levels. Please be careful. Low sodium together with high BGs (result of a steroid injection) caused me to have hyponatremia - a condition where your brain swells and you hallucinate. I ended up in hospital for 5 days. So do take it seriously

Oh I do, it's been ongoing gradually getting worse for a couple of year's now. I had to cut down on my antidepressants last year. But the water intake has gradually been rising.
I will also be taking a 10% infusion of a saline drink every day, with a hope it can rectify the situation.

thanks @Silent Sands, im ok with the treatment I suppose I’ve grown used to it over the last, I keep telling people 10 years but it’s probably nearer 12 years now I’ve been having treatment for DMO.
My only regret is for to many years I didn’t have the needed good control, especially back prior to finding and listening to others on this forum
then making the necessary changes to finally get the way Diabetes it effects me, and under a half decent decent control.
The injections really are far less uncomfortable than people actually think they are going to be, after all
anaesthetic is used, and it’s down to the patient relaxing, it’s important the consultant who is performing the procedure, ensures the patent is full relaxed calm & breathes rather than tenses up

A very early Good Morning from me too!

3.1 for me at 4.14am. Had a couple of JBs but couldn't get back to sleep for worrying about my brother who seems to be losing cognitive function and we are concerned that he might have an infection or perhaps very dehydrated, but he is resisting medical attention. Tossed and turned for half an hour and then gave up and decided to get up and do the Wordle puzzles to try to distract my mind. Of course as soon as I got up, my levels headed into orbit! Too early to jab my morning Levemir yet, so hit it with a decent amount of Fiasp and then a bit more as it continued to rise. If it starts to come down I will have breakfast, but have had a coffee to kick start my morning.
 
Good morning. 5.3 on this quite cool day. Only 2 degrees. Brrr!

Childcare for 2 day today. Once the dew is off the grass I think we’ll be outside. Yesterday was glorious with a bit of a coolish breeze. Today is to be better, and tomorrow even betterer! 😛

Can’t stop as I’ve a lasagne to make for the hordes tomorrow and I won’t get a minute when the gruesome twosome are here from 8.30. Also need to make chocolate brownies, I’ll maybe allow Zara to “help” with those. It’s our eldest daughter’s birthday tomorrow and although she’s not 100% sure she can come, farmer you see always something going on, I need cake of some sort.

Forgot to mention, the nurse rang yesterday about my BP results which are just over the threshold to start a low dose of Ramipril or similar, but they want me to have an ECG first, so have an appointment for that on 16th April. I am hoping I can bring BP down before then without medication but not holding my breath.
Oh ... and BG dropped suddenly, so scranning my yoghurt, seeds and berries as I type and then I think it will probably be OK to jab my Levemir, otherwise I will forget later.
 
Morning. 9.2. Almost the school holiday. Ramping up towards start of GCSE exams busy (me) and stressed (children) spring to mind.

Morning all. 7.6 which I’m putting down to pre-holiday mild panic as I’ve only got three hours to pack o_O
 
Good morning all - including khskel who,for some reason,has popped up and will not depart! I always enjoy his posts so his trespass is welcome.7.2 this morning which I attribute to the hospital kitchen finally sending me a meal. Huge serving of broccoli and roast pig. Operation went well as done under a spinal block. Team of anaethetists from a wide range of countries. Much banter and giggling as they dug about in my knee for 2.5 hours. Couldnt find a comfortable way to hold tablet to read so just joined in. Life went a bit down hill after the laughter as pain control postop very iffy. So we chucked the cocodemol and went back to DF118. This was fortunate as I gave the leg a nasty jar while having an essential sponge down- whew, very nasty. Just getting it under some control at 2am when they decided to move me to a new ward. Now got a fresh lot of nurses to woo to my world view. Got a good relationship sorted with the physios - a partnership not an opportunity for bullying. Managed to get up and stand on one leg, which only has a stable fracture in knee, in a thing like a monster zimmer - think it is a pulpit frame. Lousy night but tolerable today. Hope the kitchen can find me with a hard negotiated salad without tomatos or huge baked spuds...Not quite sure how I will manage in the caravan next week while the boys take the ceilings down but shall be so glad to be home I refuse to worry about it. Hugs and congratulations to those who need them. Please hand about as appropriate - I am far too busy planning a long snooze.

Morning a 6.6 clickety click for me and a night in the 6s.
Had Pasta for tea and my insulin afterwards as I was lowish beforehand but stayed within range despite having a lazy evening.
Did my Easter Bunny chocolate run yesterday and all went well and another routine day in Chester today so May have an ice cream as weather looks good.
Gardener coming today and garden looking very tidy so well pleased with his work and good to have someone who is pleasant,reliable and just does a reasonable job.

5.2 (woo hoo!). I like the way my new sensor thinks!

Hoping for an admin-type catch up day today at work, although that will depend on staffing/workload.

Noothing more exciting than that to say about my day!
