Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all. 5.6 after yesterdays levels looking going high. Yesterday started off well but cleaning windows definitely does not agree with me. The highs stayed high despite corrections. Tea last night was only 25g carb but i shot up to 14 and stayed so had a correction and dropped just after i went to bed. 2JB should have stopped a hypo in my sleep but the graph shows it didn't and i hovered in the high 3s for most of the night. My TIR lately is awful.

Today i need to do the weekly shop then a friend is coming round. We can sit outside as part of my garden is a sun trap.

Congrats on the HS @BobbleHat.

@TinaD hope your recovery goes well.

@eggyg can i come for lasagna please?

@ColinUK get your packing done quick! Have a lovely holiday.

4.2 then alarms at 3.9 after pre bolus and whilst I was eating porridge. Unfortunately the carbs haven’t yet kicked in and I’ve dropped back to 3.3, resisting eating anything else yet, let’s see how it goes!

@ColinUK - have a great holiday and post some pictures so we can share some of the sunshine!

@TinaD - wishing you a pain-free, speedy recovery.

Wallpapering went well yesterday but took all day so the painting remains to be done.

Take care everyone!

Well done @BobbleHat on your HS. :star:
I got a 6.1 this morning.

Well all I can say is packing cubes rock!!!

First time using them and my do they make everything easier. Of course I’ve overpacked but I’ve weighed my case and it’s 22kg (I’ve a 23kg limit) but it’s only because of the packing cubes that I’ve been able to get so much in the case. Plus I’m still hanging on to heavyweight Colin clothes as well as having lightweight Me stuff. So that means I’ve got double the amount of tshirts and shorts than any sane person would dream of taking.

Now I’ve an hour to kill before I will set out on my intrepid journey.

I’ll wave to you all from the plane!

Morning all

A near miss with a 5.3 today, going to spend the morning cleaning more windows and window frames at FIL house, at least most of the rubbish and unwanted items have been cleared out. We will need a third skip for the furniture and last remaining bits which hubby needs to decide what he wants to try and sell, although most likely will be added to the charity pile. New gas pipe has been quoted for and although less than I was expecting it means any plans for holiday to Spain will have to be put on hold until the house is sold, thankfully they can do the work next week when hubby is off of work so will have only held us up by about a week for putting the house up for sale.

This afternoon going to see the Easter bonnet parade as granddaughter’s school as mummy and daddy can’t go due to work.

@BobbleHat - congratulations on your HS

@TinaD - wishing you a speedy recovery

@rebrascora - sending hugs.

Morning was 6.6 today

my BS dropped again late yesterday afternoon when out shopping a real stubborn one and dropped as low as 2.9 before rising JB’s and a donut to the rescue before driving home from lid, then again just as I was about to sleep

will reduce insulin again, thinking if I get any today should, let DSN/ GP know I’ve been having hypos, maybe the weight loss has changed more than just my body shape, I say weight loss I’ve actually put a few KG Back on that’s probably down to lack of exercise over last few days
I’m planning on going BTW tomorrow as my sick note runs out today

Congrats on HS @BobbleHat
have a great holiday @ColinUK and if you’ve got room in the case bring us all back a stick of rock

Wishing everyone a Wonderful Wednesday

Morning all and a 5.1for me. Currently in sunny Keighley having deposited Mrs khskel at the dentist.

I may have to cross the road as where I'm parked is in the shade and it's a tad chilly.

I was toying with the idea of a unit or two on waking to counter FOTF, but today nothing so glad I didn't.

Have a good day everyone.

5.8 again and on yet another bright, sunny and dry Berkshire morning. Cool start, though - it was below fridge temperature when I popped out to get a newspaper and some strawberries from Morrisons.

Our drive was finished on schedule yesterday and they were gone by lunchtime. They cleaned up after they'd finished and apart from the newly laid drive there's no sign they were ever here. Picked the right people to do it then, I think.

Wednesday's my favourite day of the week as come 10 o'clock everyone will have gone to work and I'm home alone with the day to myself. Lots to do in the garden, including mending our picket fence and giving the grass its first cut of the year. Wednesday is also what we call DIY day, when everyone cooks their own evening meal, so I have a shopping list of things to get.
.
Congrats on your HS this morning @BobbleHat.

@TinaD hope your recovery goes well. My sister also needs knee surgery but has been told that she has to lose 4 stone before they'll operate. Blimey - she's always been a big girl, and has mobility issues from long Covid, but 4 stone will take some doing.

@ColinUK enjoy the holiday.

Have a good day, everyone.

Morning lovelies! 🙂

6.3 for me this morning, miles better than it has been.
Feel like I can finally breathe after yesterday's unremarkable boob check, big thanks and squidges to all who sent the love <3

Have a super lovely Wednesday xo

Please do. As Mr Eggy has just announced “ that’s a pan full and an ‘alf!” :D
It looks delicious @eggy, please save me some for me
maybe if I I set off now, I can be there in what, about 5 hours maybe that is if the M6 is behaving itself (say 6 hrs I’m t9tight to use the M6 toll link)

🙄 thinking those Berkshire Slugs will be glad your getting ready for their arrival @Martin.A although somebody did tell me there might be less than there were last year

Lovely sunny Lincolnshire morning here, although there was a touch of frost on the grass at 7am when I let the chickens out.
7.8 for me this morning. Oh dear it's creeping up so I think a brisk walk after breakfast has digested a bit more.
Bit of shopping today to replace essentials, almost out of milk but I do keep a couple of cartons of long life milk to make yoghurt.

Glad to hear the operation went well @TinaD
Congratulations on the HS @BobbleHat
Sorry to hear about your brother @rebrascora and hope that he gets well soon.
The Easter bonnet parade sounds lovely @eggyg

Have a great day everyone especially those of you flying off to sunny climes

Yes, I've read that conditions haven't been good for slugs - too dry - and that this would keep the numbers down. If you remember, last year I removed over 100 from our back garden on just one day.

6.4 today on another gorgeous morning, although a tad cooler earlier. Pea & Ham soup last night with no correction or JBs - makes a change.

I continued working out when to apply the saline to my system - finally settled in the late afternoon so it won't get flushed through my kidneys too soon. Going to be trial and error going forwards methinks.

It's good to hear from you, @TinaD, and that the knee has been done. Hopefully, walking will be easier soon.

Congratulations @BobbleHat on you HS!

your famous for i, I remember we removed about a dozen from our garden one night after they stripped my broccoli, then I saw your post … 😉

What you need is some ducks :D
Apparently they love slugs but they might nibble some of your plants too unless you net them.

Another 4.7 today for me. Might have been a bit lower at first but had to stay in bed checking that Cory Booker broke Thurmond’s record (he did), and what the results of the Wisconsin race were. Dual nationality life is odd.

Lots on today - loads of pre-annual leave admin, some marking, some book work, and hopefully time to watch the debate in parliament on HE funding, too.

I like a good beer trap for Slugs.
