Group 7-day waking average?

A 4,1 for me earlier this morning. I must make a habit of having supper....

@Colin g : Happy birthday!

4.9 this morning for me. I always love the first Sunday of a week off! Knowing that I don't have to rush out to work tomorrow morning!!

Just planning a quiet family day. Board games, maybe watch something altogether, maybe a walk. Definitely a roast later (chicken, not lamb. I love lamb but I'm the only one who does so not worth the cost!)

:star: Congrats @PattiEvans on todays HS
 Happy Birthday @Colin g hope you enjoy the day

and yes to everyone’s comments regarding the price of lamb 😱
it’s so expensive, I hardly buy it these days

Mrs @goodybags doesn’t eat lamb as she just doesn’t like the smell of it, however she used to cook me a delicious minted lamb & veg stew in the slow cooker, also proper shepherd’s pie, including when we could get them the kidneys liver & heart (obviously that stretches the meat content to a few extra portions plus adds to the flavour, all the talk of lamb is making me salivate for its distinct smell and delicious taste

by the way last night I won the lottery again  however not quite enough to retire, I only won a Lucky Dip

10.8 dropping to 8.8, flatline all night at 8/9s, so I'm thinking another unit of basal in the evening to 7. Current BP 116/65.

A nice, warm morning with a light breeze. The yellow thingy has just paid a call making it a little warmer. Always lifts the mood.

ive been having a lot of involuntary head movements and, more generally, the jitters today; I wonder if I'm going to have a bout of psychosis? Visual hallucinations are on the rise in the last few hours/days, the voices never cease their chatter.

Congratulations @PattiEvans on your HS!
Just a quick update. I'm feeling a lot better after a tab or two of Haliperidol, tbh I should have taken one on the onset.

Know I have already posted but wondered if anyone else had thought that there are a higher proportion of people who post here who have an active interest in music so sing, play an instrument, compose tunes etc.
It is totally unscientific and just an observation and we are all here for a totally different “ common denominator” but just an observation on my part as compared to the general population.
I am learning to play guitar, I have been for about 50 years. I can play a couple of tunes only to be let down by my out-of-tune singing.

@PattiEvans - congratulations on your HS!

Happy Birthday @Colin g

@freesia - thanks for the suggestion about safeguarding. That may well be an option as they seem so much in denial and ignoring our suggestions.

5.7 again on a bright but dry (and sunless) morning. Sky's the colour of milk. No thunderstorms here yesterday despite the forecast, but there were plenty elsewhere according to the BBC.

Our two boys got home from Cardiff just after 1am. Long day but worth it to see Wales run out 3-1 winners. The M4 closure didn't cause much of a delay, and no delay at all coming back. That's 7 games in a row unbeaten. Shame the rugby team can't do the same.

Wife's just left for a day out browsing antique shops with a friend and won't be back until tea time. Our youngest was up early for his 8 till 5 shift at Tesco but I don't expect to see his brother for a while yet. His futsal team have an away fixture in London today but the KO isn't until 5:15, so he'll be happy to get some rest after driving to Cardiff and back yesterday.

@Robin & @eggyg we've also noticed how expensive lamb's become so we only have it occasionally and always buy a half-leg and cook it in our slow cooker. When I was younger roast lamb was a Sunday regular.

Enjoy your Sunday.
When I was a kid it was chicken that was expensive and lamb and beef were cheap. You now need a second mortgage for a decent size piece of beef.

Happy Birthday @Colin g Hope you have enjoyed your day.

What is RSL?????

I remember when I was a child Chicken was for Christmas and Beef for every Sunday.

Today I cooked prawns in garlic and lemon, followed by Sirloin steak, crispy new potatoes, spinach and peas and asparagus, followed by a fruit platter for our guest. Went down well!

RSL might be RLS typed too quickly? (Restless Leg Syndrome)?

Good evening all! I was with Patti in the 5'2 step this morning.

That was a nice way to start the day, even better with an amazing sun outside. The sun was gone when I arrived to Exeter with my book club friend, but at least it stayed dry. We had a good time, although we were both quite tired and didn't stay long. She ran an errand and I did buy a pair of shoes for work, as planned. Unfortunately they didn't have my last model in my size at the Skechers shop, I ended with my second choice from Sports Direct. At least they were cheaper!

For lunch we tried Chopstix, a noodle bar chain. I was surprised to find they offer cauliflower rice as a base, so I went with that, although the topping was "caramel drizzle" chicken and we had some chicken and cauliflower bites which were battered and fried. I took a small 2u bolus and we walked around the shops for a good while after, and I was very pleased to see my BG barely rised and was back to pre-meal level within 3 hours. A little win! And the cauliflower rice was well seasoned and tasty too, so I'd choose it again if I go back to that chain.

I got home early and my flatmate was not here so I took advantage of the smart TV in the living room and watched a movie. I'm posting from my bed about to go to sleep, it feels unnaturally early to me but I am sleepy and don't have anything else I need to do today, so let's not delay it. May go to work tomorrow feeling fresh for a change! A girl can dream, right? 😉

Morning all. 7.6. We're off to see my sister in law in a bit then going to the cinema go watch The Alto Knights with Robert De Niro. Well, not WITH Robert De Niro, but you know what i mean.

@Eternal422 could you get a safeguarding team from social services involved? It may be the decision is taken out of yours and your parents hands and there will be no recriminations on either side. They may note the neighbours concerns as well. I'm not sure though but if your parents still say no, they may not be able to do anything. It might be worth a try.

@PattiEvans congrats on the HS.

All the talk of lamb today has my mouth watering. I love lamb but rarely buy it now.

Have a good day everyone.
How was Alto Knight’s, me and the wife are going on Tuesday to see it, I like gangster films .

Good evening all! I was with Patti in the 5'2 step this morning.
Congratulations on your HS :star:
Sounds like you had a good time in Exeter.

Morning all. 🙂 8.1 for me after eating a load of rubbish yesterday including a cone of chips. I hates myself.
Good to see you posting again @Ditto, you've been missed <3 I ate a load of rubbish yesterday too but my bg was a little higher than yours!🙄
Look after yourself and don't be a stranger. We all look forward to hearing from you from time to time. Take care now.

Morning all. 7.1 after skimming along the 6 line since midnight. Woke for loo at 5, and it’s gone steadily up since then. Came down stairs and I’m in the 8s and rising. Long wait for breakfast methinks. Just checked phone, it’s now 6! WT blooming Nora? I’m like a yo-yo!

Going into town for some birthday bits and pieces, eldest daughter and her hubby, five days between them! I’m also meeting a friend for coffee and more than likely a cheese scone. Then to Tesco on the way home to get the things I can’t get in Aldi. It won’t be lamb! Hope everyone enjoyed their lamb dinners yesterday, we did, beans on toast tonight? 😉

Have a great day.
