Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all - it's a horrible dreary grey day today in Cornwall.

3.9 this morning. Alarm has been going off every couple of hours all night. I've been eating Dextrose and ginger cookies and putting temp basals on every time the alarm went off. I'm going to have to put my basal down.

Lunch yesterday was spicy prawns followed by sirloin steak with roast new potatoes, spinach and peas plus asparagus. Dessert was Tiramisu brought by our guest, plus some mango and other fruit. I left enough sirloin for us both to have steak rolls in the evening. 4 Sirloin steaks was less than a tiny half leg of lamb in Aldi!

Tonight it's Lemon and Dill chicken thighs with Polenta and braised leeks. Also need to do some ironing.

Ah well, have a good day all of you!

@Eternal422 i don't know if this is any use to you. I picked up the leaflet in the pharmacy. It might have some useful information on the site. I shall have a look too.

6.4 this morning so I guess I should have given an extra 1U correction last night but afraid of it dropping too much. Still in range though, so I’m ok with that.

@freesia thank you for sharing the leaflet, I’ll take a look at their website.

The tiler is back today to hopefully complete everything this week - maybe by mid week even. Can’t wait to get straight again!

@Elenka_HM and @PattiEvans - congratulations on yesterdays HSs!

Take care everyone!

thank you for sharing the leaflet, I’ll take a look at their website.
I found out about Carenting by accident. I came across the Carents Lounge on FB, it was very helpful whilst MiL was with us. It’s a good place to rant too! Lots of lived experience, you soon realise your “position” probably isn’t too bad when you hear some of the stories. 😳

5.2 this morning just back from the gym getting back into it now, big day on Friday hubby has his super car driving experience which daughter and I got him for Christmas, got to be there at 9am so need to allow for traveling going to leave about 7 to make shore we don't hit any traffic on route, then we are having a meal out when we get back its going to be a full day daughter and boyfriend are coming with us.

@Pam123 - congratulations on your HS!

Was a 7.2 for me this morning.Made the mist of this fine day a d been out for a good walk with dog .Just had tea and managed a sit down , before heading out for an hour with dog . Thanks for all the birthday wishes yesterday.Congratulations to @Pam123 on today's Hs . Enjoy your evening folks

8.3 this morning, I had brekkas an hour or so later, and my BG went up to 10.3. It started to drop a couple of hours' later but only to 9.9, it then took six hours to drop to 5.1 despite having corrections of 6u throughout the afternoon.

Teatime took the form of Chinese Noodle Stir-Fry and a wallop of insulin.

Congratulations @Pam123 on you HS.

Good morning all. 7.1 on this quite non-descript day.

Child care Tuesday today. So having my customary couple of hours peace first. How comes the four non childcare days pass much more quickly than the three childcare days do? Just one of the little cherubs today. 13 month old Eden Knieval, whirlwind extraordinaire. Keeps us fit! Week 4/5! :party:We’re nearly there.

A wee bit excitement today, I’m going to try out my new clothes post and washing line. Come on, I know you’re all jealous! o_O

Have as good a day as you’re able.

Good morning 6.6 today

I need to do some cleaning & clearing up in my bedroom (it’s starting to look like a teenagers mess)
later will take a walk to collect my repeat prescription, I did actually walk to that pharmacy yesterday, but mine wasn’t ready, so rather than rushing them I said its OK I can go back today it’s a pleasant walk anyway and gets me out & about.

congrats on the HS yesterday @Pam123

Have a Terrific Tuesday everyone

Morning all. 8.8...really? C’mon Omnipod 5, you’re useless sometimes!

A couple of classes, some lesson planning, and a trip to the supermarket = my Tuesday. Only had two students in class last night. We’ve moved to a smaller classroom - it’s cheaper to heat but also means my more senior students can see the Smart board. One guy refuses to wear his glasses or his hearing aids! He managed a bit better last night but I don’t think he’ll be back next year...

Unfortunately it was 11,9 for me this morning, That will be the chickpeas in the soup I made last night, despite going to bed with 3 stacked corrections on board. My own fault as I should know by now what pulses do to my levels. Of course it would not have helped that I went back for seconds and then thirds. 🙄 I would have been better increasing my Levemir by 3-4 units to deal with it I think. I have another 2 portions left but might be best to have it for breakfast or lunch when I am awake afterwards to deal with the fall out. I did enjoy it though and good "healthy" stuff!

Morning all. 4.6. The plan for today is to pick up my brother and go off for another visit to mum in the hospital. Its costing a fortune in parking and theres no talk of her coming home yet. I spoke to a doctor yesterday who explained the reasons behind the tests (they didn't show anything) and i expressed my concern that mum was not being allowed out of bed for a walk around and that she was losing muscle tone and confidence in walking. The answer was physio were so short staffed they were having to work with patients who were ready for discharge! Lets home mum can come home soon before she loses the ability!

@eggyg i'm jealous of your washing line today. Its raining here.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning a 6.3 for me and another steady night despite some distractions in the night. One of our dogs had been a little off colour and did not settle down last night.I took him out 30 minutes after going to bed and he wanted to stay in kitchen so I came down at 4am to see how he was and he was so pleased to see me.Took him out again and he then slept by my bed and is now out like a light.
Off to Liverpool today and a routine one after a quiet day yesterday with both Yucca and Tree Fern delivered and carried into back garden.
Enjoy your day.
