Morning and a 6.1 for me and another good line overnight and first Unicorn for a while.Nice day in a Shrewsbury yesterday and trip to Wirral today and then WFH tomorrow.
Thought of you Eggy last night as Local News had an article on about plans for a 200 mile Cumbrian pathway including Coastal areas a new challenge for you both.
Good luck with event planning.
Walked dogs after a little frost and now settled down to the warmth after their trip to Vets last night for jabs.
Anyway have a good day
Good morning! A 7.7 (Sunset Strip) on waking over an hour ago after a bad night including a hypo, Phantom Pain and weird dreams (which included shooting a bank robber and witnessing an RTA).
Early doors physio today if an ambulance turns up. Did put in an official complaint about Tuesday's shenanigans yesterday.
Yesterday was tough as I was messed around by the church pastor (gave up one role because of it), messed around by my wife (who seemed to ignore me all day), messed around by my friend (we failed to meet up for a walk - not that it would have been much of one due to my damaged hip). At least tea was good.
Today will be better. What could possibly go wrong?
Morning all. After the last two unicorn days yesterday was a bit up and down. I had a very unexpected high after breakfast, a correction, then a hypo. Last night i needed a correction before bed but still woke to sensor saying 18, finger prick 16!!!! The DF has moved in i think . I've been doing so well lately as well.
Busy day today. My friend is picking me up this morning, not sure what we are doing yet, maybe coffee or a walk. Packing this afternoon for a few days away then tonight, my ex work colleagues have organised a meal for me to say goodbye.
@Sharron1 HS stands for House Special, 5..2, the ideal waking reading as someone on the forum described it. Unicorn days are when you've been in target for a whole day. DF is referring to the Diabetic Fairy who comes in and messes up all our levels for no reason.
Its very frosty out there this morning, the sky is cloudy and pink!
Off to Leeds today with my bezzie, to visit our other bezzie. We don’t all 3 of us get to gather often (every 5 years, maybe) so I’m looking forward to a weekend of laughter and taking the mickey. My friend in Leeds had a terrible time last year, so it’ll be lovely to give him a big hug...and meet his rescue dog, Luna.
Right then, which one of you ‘orrible lot pinched the sun?! Well?!
It’s cloudy and overcast. It’s forecast to be that all week. It’s still 25 degrees though so it’s not all bad 😉
Hotel is clean, massive, a little past it’s best though but the bed is supremely comfortable and I like that I can hear the pool fountain tinkling away.
Off to pick up the motor after breakfast and heading up into the mountains.
Morning all - 7.2 this morning. I'm going to be AWOL for a few days as heading off down south today to visit friends, children, and old haunts. Going to a Christmas Concert at Christchurch Cathedral in Oxford tonight for Helen & Douglas House (children's hospice where I used to work). 3 years ago I was singing in it. Have a good few days everyone xxx (Not sure hubby is looking forward to his time on his own here with 3 dogs including a 10 week old puppy )
Oh yes, sorry folks the house special is my fault. 5.2 is such a lovely level because it’s far enough above the 4s to suggest a nice level over night, and there’s a nice little layer of wriggle room for a breakfast spike. Ooh makes me warm and fuzzy just thinking about a 5.2

A 5.4 for me this morning. Pleased to say my nose has stopped running just an occasional sniffle now. 🙂
No repeat of yesterday's HS - not even close - as it's a 6.0 on this cold and frosty Berkshire morning. Forecast is for wall-to-wall blue sky and sunshine from 10am (sorry @ColinUK ) but the fridge is going to be warmer than it'll be outside.
Didn't make it into town yesterday as I'd planned so will do my bit of gift shopping when I go for my usual Thursday swim later, and maybe grab a coffee in our favourite (and independent) cafe while I'm there.
Whatever your plans, have a good day. Hopefully we're done with the storms for a while.
Just managing to stay on the 5 step this morning with a 5.9. Still flat overnight, so ok with that.
Off to a dental hygienist appointment this morning, the result of a cancelled one due to being ill when we came back from Ireland at the beginning of October. At the time the next one they could give me was December 17, yesterday they called to say there had been a cancellation for today, so took that to get it out of the way and take some pressure off December!
@ColinUK - please find the sun when you go up into the mountains! If it’s any consolation it is cold, grey and frosty here.
