Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all 6.6 for me this morning.Congratulations to @eggyg and @Alive on your Hs. Colin UK don't forget to fetch us a stick of rock back Have a good day folks
If I can find a low carb one then it’s yours!

Good evening everyone! 8'4 this morning.

Having a nice day off, it was sunny and that's appreciated after a few days of awful weather. I went for a little walk, got myself a tea advent calendar (from Yogi Tea, I wanted the Bird&Blend one but that's almost 40 quid! 😱) and came to the creative club. I did a bit of drawing and now I'm hanging around with the group until they start their Dungeons and Dragons session.

I see some of you are done/getting on with your Christmas shopping. It looks like my town is fully in that spirit now. I've barely started with presents, mind you, I only have to buy for my parents, my brother and as a novelty this year, one secret Santa for book club. But I am really excited this year, as I finally get to spend the 25th with my family in Spain. Will be the first since 2019 :starstruck:<3

Chased up Patient Transport to find they had cancelled journey but not informed me! Can't express my feelings as swearing! . Trying to sort something to avoid long delays in dressing change! :(

Well I got there, saw the podiatrist and had the dressing changed. It has improved further but the dressing did need changing. I will report on this separately. By the time I got back I had a headache and needed a couple of Paracetamol, and a lay down. Patient Transport create far too much stress! As someone observed "When they get stretched Podiatry is one of the first to go as it is 'just feet'" But as most here know that is often not the case! :(

Good moaning! Woke at 2:00 cold, hypo (3.2) an d with Phantom pain. 2 x JB then strong pain killer before turning up my weird heating!

No appointments today but will be putting in a complaint about Patient Transport issue of yesterday and all afternoon wait after physio the week before last. Was going to let the latter go but yesterday was the straw that broke the camel's back. Also will be l;ooking into annual review that I was present at but discussed things (puzzled emoji).

Pitch black with rain running down kitchen window. Opened it briefly - quite cold.

5.9
And looking forward to sunshine and warmth!

GM to you all.
4.8 for me.
Woke up way too early, am now downstairs doing my knee exercises or as I fondly call it 'dancing and prancing'
🙄:rofl::(

Good morning everyone! 8'4.

The morning readings keep being a bit high for my liking. I've only ever taken Levemir in the morning, but I am wondering if it's worth adding a unit or two at bedtime

Today and tomorrow I will be the most senior staff in the restaurant (in time working, not in age!), so I am sort of playing supervisor. I'm not a fan of being in charge but I've done it a few times now and it shouldn't be busy. The worst part is the 6 am start!

Good morning - 5.8

Have a great day everyone.

Morning a 6.6 for me and another flatline overnight.
Trip to Shropshire today as change of plans as North Wales trip cancelled but happy enough.
Wet start but only light rain so hope any storm is not as bad as Bert or was it Bertie as certainly wreaked some havoc.
Enjoy

Morning.

6.4. Weather dreadful again here.

Have a good day.

Guess what I found at the airport WHSmith! View attachment 32663
I watched Under the Covers last night and I saw this book on their shelf. Apparently it had been reviewed last week but it was the one week I missed the programme! Watched it on IPlayer. They all loved it and the premise sounds quite good. I’ll put it on my ever growing Christmas list! For once I didn’t fancy any of the books on last night’s show.

Good morning all. 5.8 and it’s frosty outside but cosy inside.

Childcare day today. Two of the little cherubs! o_O We had an unexpected childcare few hours yesterday, 12 year old’s school was closed because of a burst pipe! She’s no bother, the school had sent them work to do, she got that done and then chatted us to death and ate all the food! TBF she brought us some biscuits she had baked.

Have a great day everyone, @ColinUK enjoy the sunshine, don’t forget the sunscreen.

Morning all. 4.7 and another unicorn day yesterday.

I had an unexpected trip to the hospital yesterday. Mum is still in and they seemed to be treating her for things different to what she went in for! We couldn't get any answers so ended up going over and staying until we spoke to a doctor. It turns out that after an xray they do not need to do the procedure after all but are treating the cause in another way. We also spoke about the way mum was being left and her dignity, after we left this was sorted straight away. Honestly, some communication between us would have been helpful. All could have been sorted sooner with a quick call. I can appreciate they are busy and short staffed but they weren't even telling mum what was going on.

Today, i need to get a few bits from the shop and then a friend is coming round. Later, older daughter and son in law are coming for dinner as its her birthday at the weekend and we are away.

@ColinUK have a good time and enjoy the sunshine.

Morning All - another night with no noise or messes from the puppy. Certainly plenty of the latter yesterday though! I had my taster session for the Injectable Therapies course up in Carlisle yesterday which was good. Although rather a tease because we were talking about what we will be doing on the three week course (one day a week) and I just wanted to get on with it. It was quite a large group but there a few that can't make the dates of the course I'm doing (a couple of them I was quite pleased about!). Very different to when I did the DESMOND course in the summer where I was the old one (as in diagnosis date) - yesterday most of them had been diabetic (Type 2) for 20-30 years. I was amazed how some of them seemed very in the dark about everything so great that we all have this opportunity now. I went very low the day before as took my Novorapid but waited too long to eat, so I was sitting at the table with my plate of food in front of me eating jelly babies and drinking orange juice as it went down to 2.3 and that scared me as I was on my own in the house. Anyway - a day of carpet fitters and decorators today so I'm not doing my gardening job this morning, but got choir this afternoon. Have a good day everyone xxx. Oh and it was 6.3 this morning which is very good for me so obviously no late night snack bowl last night!

Good morning everyone

BG 5.4

Absolutely nothing planned for today.

I am afraid that Christmas will be another non event this year. We have effectively no family and with my wife ill and my daughter rejecting us, there is little to be merry about. I am not even sure I will do any decorations.

Have a
