Group 7-day waking average?

A 5.8 for me this am.

Dez

First time on this thread. Very rainy out. Took reading after i had been downstairs and made a cuppa. 5.6
Breakfast just creamy yoghurt. Ate some raspberries last night then realised today no fruit left in the fridge.
Yoghurt and raspberries from Lidl. First visit this year but I'm going back for more raspberries.

4.6 this morning and another night flat fish along 5, happy with that!

My wife is off later to an ex colleague’s leaving do, so I’ll use the time alone to study more for my radio course.

@ColinUK - enjoy the sun, don’t forget to bring some back with you!

@saffron15 - welcome to this thread!

Have. Good day everyone!

6 for me a wee bit higher than normal but still good compared to the bad old days of 15-24
Another good thing i have lost 6 more pounds in weight Yes

Dull, grey and damp here this morning and no signs it'll get any better as the day wears on, if the forecast is right. At least the day's started brightly in one respect:-

Billy No Mates today as both my wife and our eldest are in their offices over in Bracknell and our youngest has just set off for his 10-7 shift at Tesco, looking very smart in the uniform he was issued with on Monday. Wednesday's a washday, so that'll take up some of my time, and I have to pop into town to get a gift for my DIL as it's her birthday next week, and to buy what I selected for this year's Giving Tree.

My wife correctly forecast who would win Bake Off, made slightly easier after Dylan blew his chances in the first two rounds. He knew it, too.

Hope Storm Conall doesn't cause any problems for anyone in its path (Dorset, Sussex, Surrey, Greater London, Essex and Kent according to the BBC).

Have a good Wednesday, everyone.

Good moaning! Woke at 2:00 cold, hypo (3.2) an d with Phantom pain. 2 x JB then strong pain killer before turning up my weird heating!

No appointments today but will be putting in a complaint about Patient Transport issue of yesterday and all afternoon wait after physio the week before last. Was going to let the latter go but yesterday was the straw that broke the camel's back. Also will be l;ooking into annual review that I was present at but discussed things (puzzled emoji).

Pitch black with rain running down kitchen window. Opened it briefly - quite cold.

Good morning!" Finally got up about 8:00 to a BG of 8.3which had been creeping up for around an hour.

Nothing on today but will put in a complaint about yesterday's unacceptable performance.

Very grey and still raining!

Morning All - another night with no noise or messes from the puppy. Certainly plenty of the latter yesterday though! I had my taster session for the Injectable Therapies course up in Carlisle yesterday which was good. Although rather a tease because we were talking about what we will be doing on the three week course (one day a week) and I just wanted to get on with it. It was quite a large group but there a few that can't make the dates of the course I'm doing (a couple of them I was quite pleased about!). Very different to when I did the DESMOND course in the summer where I was the old one (as in diagnosis date) - yesterday most of them had been diabetic (Type 2) for 20-30 years. I was amazed how some of them seemed very in the dark about everything so great that we all have this opportunity now. I went very low the day before as took my Novorapid but waited too long to eat, so I was sitting at the table with my plate of food in front of me eating jelly babies and drinking orange juice as it went down to 2.3 and that scared me as I was on my own in the house. Anyway - a day of carpet fitters and decorators today so I'm not doing my gardening job this morning, but got choir this afternoon. Have a good day everyone xxx. Oh and it was 6.3 this morning which is very good for me so obviously no late night snack bowl last night!
Is that wise, a new carpet with a new puppy?

Morning all and 6.2 for me.

Good rehearsal last night, although BG spiked to 13 in the middle of it. Crashed down to 3 in the early hours.

Our social media is being spammed with people who allegedly have spare tickets for our gig on Friday. At the last count there are more tickets for sale than the venue holds.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning everyone, heavy rain overnight but a happy 5.9 for me on waking this morning.

Have a good day folks and stay safe.

Morning all - from the back window the sky is blue, with high streaked clouds, from the front window it's uniform grey. No rain forecast anyway.

8.3 this morning, no idea why. The chart looks as though I hit my target of 6.1 between 7 and 8 am and the HCL decided to stop insulin and I shot up to 8.3. Why???? Well, it's not a sentient being so I can't ask.

I have finally got an appointment with the Osteo Consultant this afternoon about my arthritic knee, having waited over a year. It hasn't got any worse over that time, so I don't know if they will do anything or even if I want anything done. Except I think the other knee is on it's way out.

This evening it's the usual Wednesday meet up of friends from the village at our local.

Enjoy your holiday @ColinUK

Have a good day all....

I have not looked back since having a knee replacement in 2018. An unexpected pay off for me , was I have less back problems, and therfore less visits to the Chiropractor for emergency appointments.
Thank you for that. I seem to be at the chiropractor quite a lot! However, I understand that once on the list for replacement the wait is over 3 years!!

A 6.5 earlier... nothing else to report apart from I have been tasked with getting the Christmas decorations out of the loft! :star:

5.3 this morning busy day been out shopping, we also Tok some of our old bedroom furniture to a disabled gentleman who has just moved into sheltered flat, we put it on market place and he spotted it, it was lovely solid oak bedside tables and a Tallboy, he's very happy.

Bit of a stressful 36 hours, other half began to feel unwell with his now rare Crohn's flare up 12am Mon and had the usual pain, vomiting and feeling just awful. He couldn't keep any fluids down and was just feeling really ill by 2pm Tues so we called 111 and they phoned back and did an assessment over the phone and sent a clinical nurse who came at 4.30 and she decided to call an ambulance on a 2 hour response but no guarantee. The ambulance control called at 7 to check but no time given and again at 9 but he had deteriorated so they upgraded and an ambulance arrived with 40mins, decided to take him to A & E but he was not actually seen until this morning, had blood tests and only when he threatened to discharge himself did they put up a fluids drip as the blood test revealed acute kidney injury as a result of dehydration. The he was supposed to wait for the medical team but as the wait could have been up to 12 hours in the A& E reception where it was standing room he then discharged himself at 4.30 this afternoon. Fortunately he feels much better and just tired from lack of sleep.
He is going to call the GP tomorrow to see if he can get any anti sickness medication he can take to try to keep fluids down.
This happened last November but then he was sent to a medical assessment ward not A & E.
