Group 7-day waking average?

@Eternal422 good luck with the results of your blood tests.
Thank you! The consultant said my next appointment would likely be in 3 months time! I know the antibody tests take a while but not 3 months! I assume it is down to lack of appointments. I must try and put this out of my mind until I get an appointment.

I've been awake since 5 am, alas, no reading taken until 7!

Another 7.1 here on this, rather, chilly day. There was no breeze and a partial blue sky. Not bad weather-wise.

We spent some more ca$h this morning as we had a visit from Rington's, this time on xmas presents! It's getting earlier and earlier in the year I swear!

Congratulations to @eggyg, @Barrowman and @MeeTooTeeTo on your HS's!

Good morning everyone! 7'8 this morning and 7-day TIR is 68%, moving in the right direction 🙂

My landlord sent his maintenance man to check on the fridge and he said it is definitely gone, so they will look for a new one. Hope it doesn't take too long. I had the most beige dinner last night: canned mushroom soup, bread and peanuts. Looking forward to be able to keep fresh veg and cheese in the house!

Good morning on waking (at my usual time just before 6am ) was 6.9 today

did get up & took my wife to work I even had some breakfast and took my meds
but then sent a message to work & I’ve taken today off work sick
I’m no longer feeling flu like but yesterday developed a pain best described as across the bridge of my nose and behind my eyes (which are itchy & sore) I've never experienced anything quite like this before,

my eyes feel just very tired and they do look swollen (like they sometimes are when I get bad hay-fever which I suffer from but obviously not this time of year) and never feltt like someone’s punched me on the top of my nose between the eyes.
something I found on Dr Google suggested sinusitis (post Flu or Covid) Im sure in the past I’ve been told was ive had sinusitis before, but not like this

I already have a phone consultation booked with my GP (not for this issue) but will see what he says, if I should / can be seen.

today feeling like want to sleep or relax keep my eyes closed in a darkened room, which I can if I’m off work

I had my tests done in June and got the results in September, most anxious during that 3 months! The consultant did send the results i.e. how much CPeptide I produced to my GP, but she didn't know how to translate it.

3 months must be their standard wait time! I have contemplated doing a subject access request to get them sooner, but somehow doubt their admin will be any quicker! If they do get sent to the GP then at least I could see them, I know how to interpret the results so at least I’d have some certainty.

Congrats to todays trio of HS’ers @eggyg @Barrowman @MeeTooTeeTo

Update, have just spoken to my GP, had a call booked already to review my meds
regarding my eyes he thought this most likely be an allergy to something, and recommended I relieve them if sore & itchy with a cold compress, then drop into pharmacy and seek the advice of the pharmacist/ treat with over the counter medication

Late posting, didn’t post yesterday had a upsetting situation with my estranged sister, my dad passed away recently, I wasn’t aware until after as she chose to keep me in the dark.

My brother phoned me and told me his estate was to be shared between the 4 of us, his house had already been sold in April when he went into a care home.

Long story short, my sister had been pleading poverty for years saying dad had no money and his house would have to be sold to keep up the care home payments, I had a massive shock when my brother told me how much his estate was worth once any debts were settled, he couldn’t understand why I wasn’t told , anyway my other sister I don’t have much to do with either apparently also knew.

Then out of the blue I got a message from my estranged asking for my permission to take dads estate to probate she and my other sister are his exectors, I asked her why I hadn’t been informed about his estate and asked her to confirm what my brother had said, she refused but said if I didn’t agree, as all 4 us us need to then it could go on her years, I simple said I deserved the courtesy to be told what my brother had said. she said she hadn’t told anyone anything, I am afraid I saw red and said unless she tells me I wouldnt agree, in the end my brother was fuming with her and my other sister phoned me crying and saying she didn’t care about the money etc, long rant ….. I asked her if what our brother said was true she also said she wouldn’t tell me so I lost it and put the phone down .. shortly after she phoned back and said she had asked my estranged sister for the details and told her in her opinion I would not agree to let her apply for probate. unless I knew officially what all the details were and she told me everything, believe me that’s the short version she kept messaging me over and over she was desperate to get me to agree, I still don’t know why she was so adamant other than she has to control everyone and everything her why or nothing at all, I haven’t any pleasure in saying ive won this battle but for once she has had to do what I wanted, sorry for the rant I didn’t do my BS yesterday and forgot my insulin but this morning it was 5.8 again sorry I will get off my soap box now

Sorry to hear about all this stick to your right. My late father in laws estate has taken nearly 4 years since he passed, if my husband had given up he would not have received a penny whilst his estranged sister would have taken everything including grandchildren and great grandchildren’s share. It is frustrating, stressful, but make sure you do what is right for you.

Its horrible when your own family treat you like this my dad would be so upset if he knew, the reason we fell out is because when my mum passed she left my brother a watch and each of us 3 daughters a ring each, we always knew about is as she told us all years before she passed, when she died my dad couldn't part with anything of her and we understood, then I found out the she had taken the rings and kept the one meant for me, when I confronted her she said dad had given the ring to her but they were in mums will not his, I wouldn't at the time have dreamed of asking him as he had dementure by this time and Parkinsons so I let it go, I have a copy of dads will and his estate is shared between the four of us, and I know know the value.

Good morning well it’s nearly morning, just woke up and looks like I was in time for a HS
even though it might still be silly o’clock yes, but it’s morning so I’m shouting it.

thinking will see how I am in a few hours time, but most likely be staying at home again today, then if normality comes later on later, will return to work tomorrow
whatever is going on with my sinuses, this has certainly knocked me down, was initially quite concerned when strange things were going on with my eyes, think most of you know I’m still undergoing treatment to my retinopathy.

Anyone else up ? have a Terrific Tuesday everyone 😎

A very surprising 5.2 for me as well the morning. Surprising because it’s arrived with a a cold in tow.

Good morning everyone

BG 5.2 yesssss

It's really cold out there and we have a smattering of snow. I pity my squirrels in this weather.

I have 5 songs to learn by Saturday!!! That will be hard work. I have to look them up on the internet as they are new to me and one is impossible as it is one written by the Pastor not on the internet! And I wanted a restful, easy week. Sigh. Better than doing nothing at all.

I doubt that we (me and my friend) will go for a walk today as it is so cold and icy, but it might brighten up later on !

My painful hip is slightly better thank goodness.

Everything is good right now...

Have a great day today whatever you are doing

Morning and notice 3 posts today and a hat trick of HSs so congrats to all but I can’t make it 4 in a row so sorry to spoil the party with a 6.1.
I thought about delaying posting to give others a chance to continue the winning streak but equally others may delay posting as they feel unhappy about breaking the pattern.
Anyway posted now and in good mood as lovely to see how excited our dogs get when their coats go on and their undercarriages cone into contact with the wet snow.
Taking wife for a smear test then off to St Helens but visiting warm Tesco is the priority.
Always smile when I go there as is next door to Wicked Stadium ( if you are a Rugby League fan) which I am although I always played Union.
Stay safe, stay warm and stay happy.

Morning all. A round 6 on this freezing morning. -2.
We haven’t had any snow which is good as I’m off to a funeral a good 45 minutes drive away. It’s mostly main roads so should be ok. Mr Eggy is left holding the baby! I’m leaving about 10.45, church service at 12pm and then back to Carlisle for cremation. I don’t like funerals but I have to go, yet another old friend has lost her husband, I didn’t really know him well but I’m going to support her and her daughter. Could be a long and cold day, for me and Mr Eggy, although he won’t be cold as I’m guessing the fire will be lit as soon as he’s up.

Congratulations to our plethora of HSers, back in the day when I was a Northern Soul fan, TBF I still am I just can’t do the dancing now, there was a saying Three before Eight, meaning the last three records that were played before the night was finished at 8am! Today we have Three before Six! @goodybags @ColinUK and @Gwynn.

Have a good day, albeit cold for a lot of us. Brrrr!!! Big coat and gloves definitely out today!

Morning all. 6.6. Snow on the ground and still snowing!
