Group 7-day waking average?

When we stayed with our Gran in Lincolnshire we always had Yorkshire Pudding as a dessert, with Golden Syrup. Just looked up Golden Syrup nutrition details online - 80% carb, all of it sugar...!
When we had stew and dumplings, my father insisted on the dumplings being served separately first, with golden syrup (notwithstanding the bits of onion, carrot and gravy adhering to them because they’d cooked on top of the stew) I always assumed this was also a Yorkshire custom, but maybe my father was just weird…

Not that I know of Robin, and our family were Yorkshire through and through.

I don’t serve Yorkshire puddings with anything. I can’t abide them. I don’t get it, lumps of oily batter! 😳 So no one else gets them! TBF I don’t particularly like roast beef so I rarely cook it, only at Christmas for my poultry/egg allergic Son in law. Much prefer lamb or pork.
I agree, they are vile! I'm not a fan of beef either, I don't like the smell when it's cooking.
I'd much rather have chicken, pork or lamb.
