Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all, 6.3 here. Seems quiet outside, yesterday was unexpectedly windy, and from the South. We left the yard on our horses thinking, is this wise, as the trees were blowing about violently, but as soon as we descended down from the ridge, it was relatively sheltered. Most unusual, normally the wind funnels up the valley either from the west (wet) or the east (cold) it rarely hits it sideways on and just passes over the top.

A 5.5 for me today. 🙂

Another 5.2 for me today (weird!). I had liver & bacon last night with a massive pile of veggies and no starchy carbs so that's obviously what did it. Hubby had first call out yesterday afternoon and it had a good outcome so that's a relief. They had to go a long way up in very extreme conditions and were able to find the young lad and after getting him changed in a tent thing that they use as he was suffering from early hypothermia and giving him something to eat they walked him back down the mountain. Mark then got home, got changed and set off in his car for a 6.5 hour drive up to Plockton in Scotland as he's running in the mountains there with a friend today - think he'll sleep well tomorrow night when he's home! I'm planning on being out in the garden today as the storm has subsided but I think will be back tomorrow. Have a good day everyone xxx

Morning everyone.
9.1 today not bad considering what I had for supper last night!😛 So managing to stay below 10 which is good for me atm.

I think I have the onset of Cellulitis, must make an appointment to see my GP. In the meantime I'm lathering my leg with extra moisturiser as the skin on the shin is verrry itchy! 😱

Lovely morning here, blue skies and that yellow globe is shining brightly. There's a slight breeze and my patchwork bedspread is washed and ready to hang out to dry. Love the smell of washing that's been dried outside.

I made prawn Paella for tea yesterday and my post prandial bg only went up by 2mmol so happy with that.🙂

Have an enjoyable weekend folks. Take care and stay as well as you can particularly those of you who are feeling exceptionally poorly. Hugs.

Morning all. 5.1 for me and we'll soon be on our way home from our break away. Just about to check out then we're heading to the coast for a wander around and a walk along the beach before the 4hr drive back.

I've had a skip through the posts i've not got to while away. Congrats to all HSers and happy birthday to @Grannylorraine.

Have a good day everyone.

A repeat of yesterday's 8.9. We're rather glad that the overgrown land opposite our house is to be raised to the ground by our gardening friend, we've waited 10 years for this to occur. I was given the go ahead from the local council, stipulating that nothing be removed from the land.

Hope the eye situation gets a promising outcome @Pam123

Congratulations @zippyjojo on your HS.

Morning everyone. It’s a 4.4 for me today.

Haven’t checked into this thread for a while. 10.2 and need to get sorted then go and collect new glasses. I do hope I haven’t made a bad choice!

Morning all - what a beautiful day it is today. Wall to wall blue sky and a round yellow thing.

9.0 this morning - not amused and can't quite work out why. I was soo exhausted last night that I didn't want any dinner. I had a very small jacket potato, a mouthful of hubby's ham hock and that was it, I only had that at his insistence. I was in bed at 9pm and slept through to 9am this morning barring a couple of toilet visits. I think my body was worn out from all that muscle cramping.

No plans today, hopefully get out for a walk early afternoon. Then assemble the bolognaise sauce I made the other day into a Lasagna for dinner.

Congratulations to @zippyjojo on your HS.

Hope the rest of you are well/recovering etc.

Have a good day all......

Last night we had a Macaroni Cheese made with bolognaise from Thursday - it was very tasty!

OMG - I've just downloaded the Boots recycle app we were discussing the other day and photographed 16 pill packets! What a blooming performance!

Morning all and 6.9 for me.

It's mild and dry but the promised sun is absent.

The sax I picked up the other day played well straight out of the case. I was expecting to have to do some maintenance but apart from a bit of grease on a joint nothing needed.

Have a good day everyone.

Bit late on parade this morning for no obvious reason, as apart from dropping our eldest off at the railway station (call me old-fashioned but I refuse to call it a train station), and picking up a newspaper from Morrisons on the way back, I've been home all day. He works for Honda and they're the official Automotive Partner for England Rugby, so he's at Twickenham with the Honda Team for today's match against Scotland. Anyway, 5.8 on waking.

Both our boys are out all day so just me and my wife for dinner, so we'll most likely eat out. Just need to decide on where.

Sun's out and it's a dry day here so will shortly get cracking on giving our re-built garden fence a coat of Cuprinol.

Congratulations @zippyjojo on another HS.

Enjoy your Saturday, everyone.

It's turned out to be a gorgeous day. The land opposite is starting to look better from the front window - loads more light!
