Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all. 7.9 here. Lucky thing that I took 1 unit of NovoRapid earlier in the morning when my DP alert chimed. Otherwise my blood sugar would be uncomfortably high I suspect.

Morning

4.4 this morning, woke up feeling very shaky, todays plans are taking mum to her rescheduled eye appointment at SpaMedica regarding her laser treatment, then I will stay with her for the rest of the day while the drops wear off as she often gets a migraine after the drops, hopefully home in time for yoga.

Congratulations to @Pam123 and @mashedupmatt on yesterday’s HS.

Morning folks. 5.9.

Yesterday was Comedy of Errors Act 11! Our en-suite flooded after I showered, which consequently flooded the utility room down below. We don’t know why yet, after a mopping up session we had to fly out to late MIL’s bungalow to help clear it. Which, incidentally, we got done in record time, home by 2pm but still too cream crackered to look into the reason for the flood. The place is upside down, stuff everywhere. 😱 Luckily, we have a main bathroom. Won’t have time today either as it’s “ helping with swimming lessons” Thursday, which means giving them lunch too and Mr Eggy has an appointment at his mother’s bank at 2pm to close it. Ah, well, first world problems. 😉

The day did end on a high as I booked our annual pre Christmas Lake District break away. It’s very early for me to do that, we’re usually last minute as we know we’ll find something. This year it’s a special anniversary, we always go for this anniversary, 5th December. This year it’s 50 years since we started “courting”, so we wanted something a bit special and we had our hearts set on The Langdales. I’ve booked a really luxurious cottage in Elterwater, it’s looks absolutely gorgeous. But, we won’t be there for our anniversary as it’s already booked for that date! Typical! We actually leave on our anniversary so we are there for a wee bit. It’s fine, it means we’ll wake up there on the day and we’ll make the effort to go somewhere nice for lunch on the way home.

Have a fabulous day.

A 4.8 for me today. 🙂

Dez

Morning all. Well, take your pick. 5.2, before i could get a pic it changed to 4.8, i sat up in bed and it changed to 5.6.

All i have to do today is put a wash on then clean the bird poo off my back window, 2 big stripes of it! The pigeons must be back, its usually them, though i haven't seen them around as much since the magpies appeared. The rest of the day i plan to read my book and do some crochet.

Have a good day everyone.

Ps. Any tips for moving magpies away? They keep chasing the blackbirds and robins.

Good morning 6.9 today

a day off work today for me as I have a follow up eye appointment (not DMO clinic) but some scans & checks etc, this is post the procedure I had done down at Oxford 6 weeks ago.
If they are happy I then should be able to see about new prescription / glasses,
although might see what scans show at start of next month when I see my usual Ophthalmologist at DMO clinic treating my Diabetic related eye condition
Next month the Ozurdex that is in that eye will have had its 6 months to possibly reduce that swelling

Should get my 10K steps in today
as since we moved it’s a only a 30/45 min walk from our bungalow to NGH
I was just thinking this is something i definitely couldn’t have done pre the ankle surgery I had 21 months ago.
I’m a far more fit & healthy @goodybags than I was back then

Have a Terrific Thursday Everybody 😎

Morning all. 9.6 here...c’mon Omnipod 5, pull yer finger out. C’mon DSN, gizza ring! I’m utterly cheezed orf this morning.

On a lighter note, it’s Thursday, it’s my birthday soon, and I’ve got a puppy - how can I be sad?

I love the Langdales @eggyg - I’m looking fwd to seeing your pics already!

Morning all and 5.2 for me although 2 alarms and glucose tablets required to achieve those dizzy heights.

Damn forgot cat litter yesterday, so off we will be popping. Might go to the new Aldi in town. Rock 'n' roll or what.

Have a good day everyone.

Bit surprised to find myself over the border with a 6.1 this morning, especially after a 4.6 post-prandial after yesterday evening's Chicken Caesar (4.5 LH, 4.7 RH - I double-checked to be sure the first reading wasn't a rogue result). Sometimes it's all a complete mystery.

Wife's birthday today so there are birthday banners and balloons up in the lounge and a load of cards on the windowsill and mantelpiece. Will be heading out shortly for a day out at NT Hughenden, although disappointed to see on their website that the cafe is closed for refurbishment. Back-up plan is lunch at the nearest garden centre with a decent cafe.

Congratulations @Pam123 and @mashedupmatt on your HSs yesterday, and @khskel and @freesia on yours this morning.

Enjoy your day, whatever you're doing.
