Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all, 4.3 here, that glass of red wine last night has chased Dawn away,
I know the feeling. I need to have orange juice at the ready to fend off a hypo whenever I over-imbibe :D

Good morning was 6 on the nose (well on the Libra actually)

I have a podiatrist appointment at the hospital this morning, toe has now fully healed up, which is a relief to me
It was back on 13/12 when stubbed my toe in the night - on a half awake bathroom visit, before I even realised that I had damaged it, a few days later a big blister, covering most of that big toe developed and burst, was rather yucky took some care and two visits to podiatrist (silver nitrate dressings) to clear it up fully

Working today

Happy Monday everyone 😎

Morning all. Storm Eowyn(sp?) finally curled round our way last night. So much rain, and blustery wind.

5.7 for me, have a great week everyone!

Short run in the training calendar tonight and then morse code class.
What are the Morse code lessons like? Is the teacher a bit dotty?!

3.6 this morning. Think I really need to be higher than mid 5s when I go to bed!

Had a merry old chase to get Dad’s injection yesterday, despite calling the hospital pharmacy to confirm they would be open, when we got there the whole building was closed. Another phone call to the emergency ward that Dad went to on Friday and they agreed we could just go there and they would give me the injection to take to dad, no need to bring him in. At least we knew how to get there this time - the cunningly unmarked entrance to the car park, enter on floor 0, up to floor 5, across the courtyard, through a door to a secret lift then down to 2, through A&E to a door where you press a button and hope someone lets you in (wondered if we had to say that “Joe sent us” or if there was a password of the day to say).

Waiting for phone call from the hospital this morning to say when we need to take Dad in for his scan. Not holding my breath.

Take care everyone.

Morning all - 7.3 for me this morning. Hubby back after his Mountain Rescue winter training which he loved. I enjoyed the solitude of my 4 nights alone with the dogs (am I strange?). We went out for a delicious late Sunday Lunch yesterday and it was just what I was hoping for - really tender beef, not too many roasties (2), lovely Yorkshire pudding and then loads of different fresh veg and the best bit was a cheesy shredded Brussel sprout dish - yum! We had a beetroot & soft egg starter and I had 3 (or maybe 4) mouthfuls of his apple crumble and custard. I took my insulin with me even though I don't usually bolus for lunch and the result was no sharp peaks so pleased with that. Had our usual Sunday evening supper which he does (I probably didn't need it!) of sardines, cheese & baked beans on toast. Have a good week everyone. I've got our 1st anniversary session of Walking Netball at lunchtime today. A year since we offered the taster session and 52 people turned up! We've got a great core group of ladies who come to it every week and I know for a lot of them it is the highlight of their week so I'm pleased to be involved as one of the Walking Netball Hosts.

A 5.0 for me earlier. 🙂

Morning all. I woke about 2am and was hypo so had some JBs. According to the graph, i rose but not enough to set the alarm off again so ended up hypo again. Currently sitting at 4.3 and droppingvagain so i'd better go and get some juice. Have a good day everyone.

6.0 for me but I lost count of jelly babies required through the night and no Levemir. I have dropped my morning dose down by 2 units this morning too. Pleased to report a lateral flow test is negative, so it's just a head cold. Got absolutely drenched yesterday lugging feed up the hill for GGs. Hoping my Freelander gets fixed this week, but I'm burning a bit good bit of excess festive season weight off in the mean time and saving on insulin.... even if I am getting through rather too many JBs!

Good morning/moaning! Took my last antibiotics of the day and went to bed half-an-hour later only to wake a short while ago with Phantom Pain that has not been an issues for a few days )even started to wonder if they were suppressing the pain?). Dont really need it as early doors Podiatry. BG 6.1.

Drizzle on kitchen window.

Good Morning II! I finally settled about 1:00 and despite having two Rich Tea with my painkillers and tea woke at 2:00 to a low alarm and a return of the Phantom Pain. Being dubious I finger pricked and I was indeed low so it was a different painkiller, 2 x JB, another cuppa and a slice of toast. Got back to sleep to wake at 4:30 as the tea had worked through the system. Then just as I dosed off the alarm rudely went off. BG after all that 8.4.

Patient Transport on way as the driver called to say he will be with me shortly. Just hope Controllers do not go and mess it up as they did with last month's ENT appointment. Still waiting for a response to my complaint but the truth was out there without opening the X-Files!

Started to brighten but clouded over again!

Morning lovely ones!

6.1 for me this morning, still flarey and feeling it but have a free trial Dexcom One+ to play with today to keep me occupied.
Daughter/Mr Q think it may help with the constant anxiety around the whole situation and being able to see in real time what's happening.
Can't hurt to try I suppose! 🙂
Next bloods on Friday so we'll see what's what.
