Group 7-day waking average?

Congratulations on the HS @eggyg

6.8 this a.m. The xmas meal yesterday went well. I had the fish/prawns to start as a main, closely followed by a small xmas pudding with custard - just the way I like it. The effect on my BG was notable but dropped to normal a few hours later.

The tree is going to be dressed today as I am uniformed by Mrs.SS.

Have a good eve of Christmas eve whatever you're all doing everyone!

A lazy morning for me. 6.7

Hope everyone’s holiday preparations and family catch ups / plans are going well.

Have a good rest of the day

Afternoon all - how it got this late I have no idea! Sunny but horribly windy here today. The sea will be in a right froth!

6.3 or 8.1 depending on whether it was the first time I got up or the second!

It was really miserable yesterday afternoon in town. It didn't seem to be dampening the enthusiasm of many Montol revellers though! We left the pub a bit early when it got too crowded for comfort and so missed watching our friend sing in the choir. Walked to the bus station via Boots to collect my prescription and then had to wait just over 20 minutes for a bus in a bus shelter that is no shelter at all! Arrived home very cold and damp.

Today we are not doing much. We will get out our game of Carcassonne, something we rarely play except at Christmas time. Hope we can remember the rules which are extremely complicated, especially as we play with multiple extension games.

Salmon and pasta for dinner. I shall have to make up the recipe, but it'll involve garlic cream cheese, broccoli, lemon (I think) and some dill if I can find any in the freezer. If not then I'll have to improvise. Grocery shopping can wait until tomorrow. We don't need much.

Congratulations to @eggyg on your HS. Glad your party went well!

Hope @Elenka_HM arrived home in Spain safely.

Have a Super Sunday all..

Good moaning/morning! Woken by Phantom Pain again (4th night out of 5 after a number of pain free nights - why?). BG a Sunset Strip (7.7).

Today a number of Amazon deliveries. I ordered one big delivery five days ago but it seems to have become three Amazon deliveries and one Royal Mail one. Worried about RM one as it is a Xmas present and may not see them till Easter if it does not arrive. My cards to Germany arrived quicker than those within UK! Dressing change tomorrow. Hope it works out or it may become A&E visit!

Some stars visible = partially cloudy.

Good morning, lucky 7.0 for me today. Worked all weekend and off today before going back to work Tuesday and Wednesday to prepare and cook Christmas dinner for the residents.
So today will be spent tidying up the house and making sure we have everything we need at home.

Good morning and a 4.4 when first woke up but had toast now so rising nicely.
Very lazy day yesterday watching TV and a bit of walking and dodging wind.Dogs walked and happy and in their beds.
Robin- we don’t have a witches coloured cat but she is a nice colour ( officially called a “Chocolate Smoke” and certainly as a Persian she would attract the cobwebs.
Nice call in Cheshire countryside today and not too busy.
Have a good week

5.8 today. Pleased as had the most horrendous insomnia and think I can probably count my sleep last night in minutes rather than hours. Going to need soooo much caffeine to fuel life today.

Working until 5pm and then heading straight to Tesco to pick up our Click and Collect order. We don't have road access to our house so I've already warned the kids they'll be forming a human chain to get the food from car to fridge!!

Morning all from another insomniac @BobbleHat 6.6. Well, insomnia is the devil’s work. It’s even worse this time of the year for me, I call it seasonal insomnia.
Got up at 4am after being awake from before 2. I read my book and did doze off eventually only to wake at 6.45 feeling rubbish, as I always do. Thank goodness the kids have gone home and I’ve got a free day just pottering.

Yesterday was hard work, baby full of cold and very clingy, she wouldn’t go to anyone but me. Three year old was emotional at times, missing her mummy, and the bigger two just wanted fed all the time! TBF they are a great help usually with the little ones. Now eldest daughter has just messaged to say six year old doesn’t feel well, cold wise, and is a bit hot! Typical. If me and Mr Eggy don’t get it, it’ll be a Christmas miracle. 😉

Have a Happy Monday all.

Morning all. 6.7

Bit of a mood decline going on recently for me. Can’t seem to motivate myself to do much (even though I’ve been doing lots it seems). Putting it down to seasonal lack of sun, waiting endlessly for updates from the police, ruminating about whether or not heading to California/Arizona in Oct next year is actually a good idea or not and trying to pin down my true reasons for going and whether they’re really about wanting to see someone despite their being married etc…

That said I’m going to try to get to the gym this morning (it’s not opening today until 9am) and then I’m at Devil Wears Prada for the matinee this afternoon.

Will likely meander through Waitrose on the way home but there’s nothing I need. I’ll pick up some low carb wraps probably.

Oh with all the baking recently I ordered some powdered erythritol as an icing sugar substitute. Seems I both over ordered and made an error when I did. So Saturday a 100g pack arrived. Yesterday a 1kg pack arrived! I think it’ll outlive me!

Morning 9.5

About to battle the shops for sprouts (and other vegetables!).

Have a good day. I so like NOT going to work and doing my own things :D

Morning all, 5.6 here. A 2 unit correction before bed when I discovered I was 14.2 after the buffet did the trick. (to be fair, I can’t blame the buffet, there was plenty of meat, cheeses, and fresh salad, but I fell for some of the pastry items, and a large shop bought almond frangipane mince pie, which is obv a lot more carby than my home made,)
Off to the co-op in a mo to do the last min fresh stuff (milk, bread, veg, fruit etc) all the main items are stuffed into the freezer, or in the larder already.

Morning all. 7.1 for me on waking. 8.2 just now, after breakfast. Mis-calculated insulin dose for dinner yesterday, so had to stave off a hypo. As is often the case, blood sugar climbed a little after the correction, but I was able to bring it back under control and had a pretty flat night.

Good morning 6.6 today

Happy Monday folks 😎

Morning all

A 7.0 for me today. Last few bits of food to grab a little later on!
