Group 7-day waking average?

Morning a 7.2 for me after a bit of DP and another nice line overnight.
Ended up yesterday with buying some Xmas Veg and then called for lunch but was so busy with Xmas breakfast event and reindeer. At first they could not find us a table so we went in the shop and then the owner came up to us and said she could squeeze us in.
As we sat down the original member of staff who said they had no space came to us and said “ so you went to the boss” and my wife replied “ no she came to us”.We did think a bit cheeky but no matter we had nice food.
Then a lazy day watching Netflix and simply cuddling up with the dogs.
Walked them already but little wind and rain do got off lightly so far as expected the worst.

Morning all. 6.2 for me on waking, after a pretty flat night (slightly higher now after my morning omelette). Windy and wet here overnight - I was woken by a flash of lightning about 3:30am or thereabouts, so I had to fire up my audiobook to coax me back to sleep. Nothing much planned for today, though I did get an idea for a feature to add to my software system - a good use of my time on what's likely to be a pretty miserable day, weather-wise.

9.6 this morning. Not too bad all things considered. Heavy tea last night at the sister in law's and got the dose just about right. Could have done with perhaps another unit or two but hey. A lot of the food was homemade so a bit of guess work on the carbs.

Off to a friend's in a bit for our pre-Christmas meet up so that will be nice. Then work Mon/Tues and it's going to be a busy couple of days...

A 4.8 for me this morning. 🙂
It was my turn yesterday to make an inventory of the herbs and spices and order any new ones. My policy is that if it's less than 2 years out of date it's OK. But what I can't understand is why do some manufacturers print "use by dates" on the bottom of glass containers. It's nigh impossible to decipher what's on there. Any hints or tips on how to make it easier to read.

Morning all, 5.6 here, but needed a couple of jelly babies at 4am, went through the house like a dose of salts yesterday, hoovering and dusting, before we put the tree and cards up, daughter brings her cat with her when she stays over at Christmas, and it’s so embarrassing when cat emerges from a dark corner covered in cobwebs. Off to a buffet tonight, the riding school staff/livery owners annual do, plenty of opportunity for carb guesswork!

Morning all. Didn’t look at numbers when I got up to the baby at 6.45. Changed her nappy handed her over to her big cousin and did my insulin. Checked BGs 5.2! 😉

I’m running on fumes, neither of us got much sleep with coughing toddlers and babies. I was on high alert and just couldn’t nod off. It’s ok we’re getting rid errr I mean the little angels’ parents are arriving at 3pm. Party went well, lots of food, Pass the Parcel and Musical Statues. PJs on, cup of cocoa and they all were in bed between 7-9pm. We followed at 9.30!
Full English just finished. Ruined these kids!

Have a great day, whatever the day brings.

A 6.4 for me this morning

Hope the buffet goes well @Robin

Pretty much my food nemesis! I can never get the guesses right however ‘over’ I try to estimate.

Had visions of a Halloween themed puddy tat making a special Christmas visit all decked out in cobwebs!

Morning all. 6.9 and a unicorn day yesterday. I'm off to get the veg, milk and cream in a few mins then home to put feet up, read or whatever.

Good morning 7.1 today

Nothing to exciting planned today, clearing up at home is badly needed & maybe relax watching some movies,
plus some admin will need to be done regarding a few things for my work.

strangely some of the vision over the last few days seems to be slightly clearer in my right eye (or maybe I’m just getting used to it) anyway I have to drop into the hospital for optical biometry measurement as part of my pre-op tomorrow so will mention it to them,
looking forward to having normal vision hopefully a few weeks after my forthcoming surgery on 30th

Congrats on the HS @eggyg

have a superb Sunday everyone 😎

Morning everyone. The sun is shining again this morning and I’m back in the 4’s with a 4.9 today.

Have a good day folks and stay safe.

Congratulations on the HS @eggyg

5.3 for me today.
It's the last day of my Annual Leave today. Mr B is at work until 3 and then is going to get eldest from his uni digs (he stayed late to be Santa at a charity event his drama club were hosting) and that'll be my family back together for Christmas. I can't wait!

Happy Sunday!
