Group 7-day waking average?

5.9 on another frosty morning, though not as hard a frost as yesterday. Didn't need the scraper to clear the car, just de-icer and wipers.

Had to go and pick up our youngest from Tesco yesterday evening as his car wouldn't start. Tried the old test of trying to start it with the headlights on and, sure enough, they practically went out, so it's the battery suffering from the cold. No jump leads so had to leave the car there and we'll go back today, via Halfords, and sort it out.

Congrats @eggyg & @Sharron1 on your HSs this morning.

@Eternal422 - AAA screening actually isn't that new. It's been routinely offered for a while now to all men in the year they turn 65. I had mine 11 years ago (an Ultrasound, which showed no issue).

Forecast for here is for max 3 degrees today, a little less cold tomorrow, and back in double figures at the weekend which means, inevitably, that it's going to be a wet one.

Whatever your plans, have a good day.

I didn’t realise, not having heard anyone having had it done before now. Glad yours was ok, is it just a once off screening if everything is normal on the first ultrasound?

Morning all and 7.7 for me. Perhaps overdid shutting the low alarm up.

@Eternal422. Funnily enough I've got my scan booked in a couple of weeks.

Collected prescription this morning. We're on short rations of Creon, luckily I've got a couple of tubs in reserve.

Have a good day everyone.

I only got one tub this time instead of four, but, like you, I do have some spares as I’ve been rationing them for about six months.

Afternoon, a bit late posting as it's been a busy morning but now the sun is shining
and the frost has disappeared. Oh, and it was a 5.8 for me much earlier today.
.

Was a 7.6 for me this morning.Congratulations to @Sharon1 And @eggyg on your Hs today Big shout out to Gwynn I wasn't having a pop at you about chocolate yesterday.Saw your photo today with the kid stuffing himself with cake Still chuckling now One of my old photos Good one . Enjoy your day people

Afternoon all - and a lovely sunny but cold one it is. Rumour has it that there was snow further up Cornwall but no hint of it in the West.

6.3 this morning. I never see anything in the 5s these days - seriously thinking of ditching the HCL.

Dentist this afternoon, gotta get my coat on in 5 minutes. Then this evening there's a residents Association meeting to discuss the proposals for new speed limits/road layouts through the village. So I guess we will attend that.

@Leadinglights my dentist has one of those thingamebobs that construct a 3D image of your mouth. I was very happy not to have to have impressions when I had a bridge done recently.

@TinaD - good luck finding a new home. We left our last one with nowhere to go. Put the furniture in storage and moved in with a very kind and generous friend for 9 weeks. Since it's winter though are there any holiday lets you could make you home temporarily?

Congratulations to @eggyg and @Sharron1 on the HSs.

Have a good one all - off to the dentist I go....

Update on my AAA screening this afternoon : no problems found - phew! Apparently if you’re ok at 65 then the chances of getting a AAA is really low so they don’t screen again.

Pleased it went well and that you got the All Clear. One less thing to worry about.

Yes, I will be storing stuff, Peachy will stay with friend, I will sofa surf (well stay with good friends in their swish bungalow by the coast. I fear poor Wolf will be in kennels. I've put an offer in today - well below asking price but well above valuation. Major problems - i) idiot vendors decided to ignore building regs when extending into garage so that is to do again ii) they want a price which reflects a properly built extension. However about 50% of house pre-dates their stupid work, it is next door to a friend, and there is room for the animals...Fingers crossed.

Yawning morning. Up so early as I have coughed and spluttered since 2.50! Obviously keeping my bed fellow awake too. But I was rewarded with a 5.2 for my selflessness.
Thank goodness I actually have a day to myself to do whatever I want. No funerals, no friends to meet, no childcare, no daughters or grandchildren to ferry to and from swimming lessons and no feeding anyone except ourselves. Mr Eggy has his mother’s shopping to do, and some for us, but that won’t take long and then we have the next four days free!

Have a fab Friday, I will!

My BGs were all over the place yesterday ( obviously that’s why I’m coughing and spluttering) and I had a scary 1.5 unit correction before bed. It worked apart from the hypo at about one. I never heard the alarm. That’s scary too.

Morning an 8 for me after going low before bed.Took the 3 Dextrose and should have left the slice of bread but added it as have been sleeping well lately and did not want to risk my alarm going off.
Rewarded with a much higher BG but a lovely sleep.C’ est la vie.
Day at home today so nice end of week and not nice outside so will stay inside.
Looking forward to w/ end so have a good one.
PS Congrats on HS Eggy.

Morning all, 4.2 here, Dawn has gone as mysteriously as she came.
Was awoken at 6am by a loud bang, which woke OH too. We both agreed it didn’t sound like it came from inside the house, though it’s hard to say just how your brain has interpreted direction and distance in your sleep. Decided it was too cold to get out of bed and investigate , so dozed off again for a bit, and hoping I don’t find any surprises when I go downstairs.

4.5 for me A cold morning not doing a lot today its a stay at home and watch tv/online
you allhave a good day

Morning

4.7 today, off to the cinema this evening with my daughter and granddaughter to see Wicked, not sure it will live up to the stage show, but nice of them to invite me along. Then we are all off to Hampshire for a Baby Shower tomorrow.

@eggyg - congratulations on your HS, enjoy your quiet day.

Good morning everyone

BG 4.8 it's the lack of chocolate cake I think.

Continuing to rest and be bored today but the strategy seems to be helping.

Have a great day today whatever you are doing

Morning all. 6

Bit headcoldy but otherwise much improved. I hear you all ask how on earth I could ever be improved but it’s true, I can be!

Roll on Tuesday and a night in sunny Gatwick before jetting off to Gran Canaria for a scant week. Yesterday I sorted out a hire car for a couple of days so I can head up into the mountains. Was tempted to opt for a full sized convertible float-about but opted for this little cutie instead.
