Food ideas with photos

Passionfruit is mostly seeds with a little juicy coating each so very different in texture. Taste wise it's quite sharp/tangy. I'm not sure how else to describe the taste apart from "tropical"
they are amazing, i used to have them nearly every day but now read that the tropical fruits are high in sugar!

Nothing like a good fry up with egg, black pudding and courgette but then made it a bit healthier with salad leaves cucumber and red pepper and some pickled beetroot plus a dollop of mayonnaise as I don't have any cheese coleslaw at the moment. Took 10 mins to cook and put together and was really tasty and I would estimate no more than 20g carbs ...I gave it 2 units of insulin anyway.

Not been on for some time.

My wife fancies Mediterranean Turkey-stuffed Peppers for tea. Looking at my food diary we've had that 5 times before, going back to 2021, though not since March. My post-prandial readings average 5.3 (two 5.5s and three 5.2s) so it's a good one for me. I'll test 2 hours afterwards to see if that's still the case. My money's on it being a waste of a test strip, though.

This is the recipe, if anyone wants to give it a try:-

That does sound good @Martin.A I may well have to try that recipe very soon.

As I predicted I wasted a test strip after our Mediterranean Turkey Stuffed Pepper tea. Post-prandial was 5.0, so my average for this dish (5.3) doesn't change. Shan't bother next time. Still, with a portion being only 15g carb it's not that surprising.
