Group 7-day waking average?

Ahh! Maybe a bit late since I’ve already swallowed my first capsule but, a lot more extensive research, a la Dr. Goggle, on Black Cumin Seed Oil. You can apply it directly to the skin topically with the oil but, is very messy, greasy, oily & can stain fabrics if used neat & best to dilute it with a carrier oil, like castor oil, for it to be easier to deal with & have less staining! o_O Kind of reminds me of the first, & only time, I tried the neat propolis resin, for faster healing of bruises, scratches & open wounds etc. when I stained my bath towel, thank goodness I had it spread on the bed just in case, & NEVER managed to remove the stain despite every stain remover I tried under the sun 😱:( ; learnt the hard way to use a propolis cream with aloe vera for a MUCH easier application instead! Despite the messiness of topical application mg per mg compared to Ibuprofen & Voltarol it eases pain & restores movement much more effectively so, could be worth trying & do your best to limit the mess? Or take the cold pressed Black Seed Oil capsules internally.

Morning and a 5.6 for me after a 2u correction dose to deal with Pizza and then going low and then 2 Dextrose just before bed then a flat line in the 5s.
Nice day yesterday doing some gardening and a trip out to butchers and to see my daughter.
Off out to lunch and bath dogs ready for their little holiday whilst I am away.Dropping them off tomorrow, then have to catch train to Manchester and have top soil and tree bark bulk delivery and gardener coming so busy morning.
Anyway have a good day.

Good morning, yesterday's line on the Libre was like Mt Everest as we went out for brunch in a mountain village. The meal, although beautiful and delicious, was rather carby because they bake their own sourdough bread there. We didn't get back until around 4pm after a scenic drive home, and neither of us wanted any dinner. So after my low alarm went off soon after getting into bed, I had a couple of squares of dark chocolate. I had a nice flatfish night and woke up at 4.9.
I've had a good time here with mum but I am looking forward to being back home. I hear the UK is having a warm spell next week so will be back just in time!

Good morning. 5.6, better number than of late.

Got the pile of ironing done yesterday, only took one Goggle Box and one and a bit Celebrity Bake Off. Mr Eggy got loads done in the garden, more veggies planted, leeks, broccoli, carrots. Lawn mowed. Greenhouse tidied up and ready for him to set up his irrigation system ready for our hols. I was planning on joining him but the headache I woke with yesterday lingered all day and I felt a bit rubbish, so I fiddled with my new Apple Watch instead, haven’t had a minute since I got it. I now have the Shuggah app which means I can see my BGs on the watch. I think the only advantage over the phone will be when I’m out walking and my phone is in my rucksack or coat pocket. Otherwise it’s no easier than picking my phone up. We’ll see.

I’m definitely going to get in the garden today, weeds need pulled, and someone’s got to do the boring stuff!

Have a super Sunday.

That looks amazing! When we went to Crete a few years ago we drove to a mountain village and had the most amazing lunch where everything was made on the premises and there wasn’t a menu, you just ate what they brought you. It’s over 10 years ago and we still talk about it.

Oh yes! I completely forgot to post this earlier & only thought of it now just after eating breakfast! 😳

Has anyone heard of taking black cumin seed oil aka black seed oil for inflammation, joint pain, osteo or rheumatoid arthritis. Some doctors recommending over Ibuprofen or Votarol, can’t spell & Siri isn’t helping me, as being far more effective. I bought the cold pressed capsules from Amazon yesterday & they are being delivered today. Apparently you can buy the oil in liquid form from the likes of Holland & Barrett on the street or the cold pressed oil capsules from Amazon as it quite strong tasting. Apart from the still intermittent pain from my injured wrist I do also, have, for a few years now, rheumatoid arthritis or, at least rheumatism & thought I would give it a go?

My day so far has continued to be 2mmol lower than yesterday & hopefully carry on like that for the rest of the day? :D:thankyou:
Be aware that black seed oil is not the same as black cumin seed oil. Black seed oil is nigella seed oil. That’s a completely different plant. Also be aware that they can both increase propensity for hypos. In high doses black seed oil can degrade kidney health as well.

There’s a plug in you can install that displays Shuggah readings on the calendar app in your watch so you can immediately see trends and latest numbers on the watch face without having to press anything.

I’ll see if I can find the relevant info for you.

6.0 this morning

Saw Comedy About Spies at the Noel Coward Theatre yesterday. It’s silly, slick, standard slapstick stuff featuring mistaken identity, hapless spies, plans for a top secret weapon, James Bond auditions plus a mystery shopper all in a hotel together.
By the same bunch who did Play That Goes Wrong, which left me cold, this is funnier and more complete than I found that.

It’s fun, funny, fine for all ages, family entertainment at its finest. If you do go then be aware that the stage is elevated so anything from C closer in the stalls and you’re looking up. Also you do not want to sit acreage that has restricted views as you will lose action at the top of the set or at the sides and that would be a real shame so go for central stalls or middle front of the circle.

Morning all. 🙂 .6.3 here.

Yes, please @ColinUK - I’m thinking of getting a smart watch, so the more techy info the better. Was Shuggah complicated to set up @eggyg?

It’s a bit dull out there which is perfect lesson planning weather LOL. Hubby needs to catch a train to Bristol - on a Sunday, eek! - so I’ll drop him in Carmarthen this morning. Then it’s just me and the grrrrls (2 dogs) for a few days.

YUM @Lisa65.

Shuggah is easy to set up on iOS (Apple) devices anyway.

This really is step by step instructions… https://lovemylibre.com/blogs/news/install-shuggah-cgm-apple-watch

Morning folks. Feels a bit chilly but it us supposed to warm up later. 7.4 today. Oh well. Hubby got text from optician to say his new lenses are ready. We had a surprise visit from an old friend yesterday so that was nice.
That food looks amazing @Lisa65 reminds me of the mezes in Cyprus. Can't beat a warm evening spent eating and drinking with good company.
The road closure barriers have been removed for the weekend so heading to the tip today. Loads of trugs to empty and the road will be closed again from tomorrow.
Have a lovely Sunday folks and don't forget the sunscreen. 😎<3

That sounds ideal. Cheers.

Morning all, 7.4 here, had a massive dawn rise for reasons known only to the Diabetes Fairy.
Went to a garden centre for tea yesterday with my son, my belated Mother’s day treat. I was away for the actual day, and then we decided to avoid the Easter weekend because it would be busy. I managed to come away with just a packet of seeds. Every patch of waste ground in Madeira was covered in nasturtiums, so I have ambitions of my garden looking like a vision of orange in the summer. Provided muntjacs don’t eat them! The mother and baby were back yesterday. OH jumped out of his skin yesterday when we went down the garden and accidentally flushed baby out from underneath our bronze acer, where presumably mother had hidden it for the day. She came back around 6pm, fed it, and they wandered off together.

I upped the basal a few nights ago and it seemed to do the trick so maybe it was the cheese and crackers i had with a couple of glasses of wine a couple of hours before bed. Although i was only 6.5 ay bedtime who only the DF knows i think.

My weight is going up, i'm struggling to walk far as the problem with my foot is ongoing and i'm just thoroughly fed up sym.
