Group 7-day waking average?

Many congrats to @ColinUK on your fab HbA1c result. You have been a bit concise with your posts in recent days and I was getting worried about you, so it was good to read your amusing Tshirt and kaftan update.
Are you suggesting that I’m prone to overly long rambling posts that could rival the finest epic Viking sagas eh?! o_O

6.6 for me, happy that last night's basal has, finally, done the trick. Mind you it was that and no treats at midnight! TiR is 92%.

Started off cloudy today but the sun has burned back the gloomy weather for a gorgeous wall-way sun baked day... pity its' still chilly.

Feeling calmer today, concerned at the state of welfare that so many people are getting. The powers at be are not playing the game. - that's enough politics from me.

Congratulation @ColinUK on the HbA1c result.

Congratulations to @Daffers & @Barrowman on today's House Specials.

Hope that your BG levels have gone down by now
Hhmm, well they finally dropped to 5.6 by lunchtime (after wrestling with a heavy shopping trolley with a dodgy wheel) but have now gone back to 12.6. Correction in and hoping it will come down. Hubby has some sort of throat bug, i'm wondering if i'm coming down with something.

That is a pain. When you get one of those there isn't an assistant in sight to help you. The rest of the time there are dozens of them blocking the aisles re-stocking the shelves. o_O

Bonjour, 6.6 for me this fine morning. I have a couple of mail order shrubs arriving today. Hopefully I can get them in the ground without putting my back out again!
I thought this advert might be useful :rofl:IMG-20240331-WA0007.jpg

Morning all. The magic 5.2 for me today, haven't had one of those in a while.

The sun is out so have a pleasant day everyone.
Congratulations on your HS :star:

Not at all, but I have come to expect that I will be amused, entertained, or culturally enlightened once a day and just posting your waking reading and nothing else just doesn't do it, but more importantly it makes me concerned that you are perhaps not feeling on top form! So it was a pleasure as well as a relief to read your post this morning.

@rebrascora Your deduction was correct. Haven’t been feeling 100% myself. Guess I’m processing things with the case closing even if I’m not doing that consciously. A temporary blip I’m sure.

Yes, definitely no bum cracks wanted on display!

I survived the bush planting without doing my back in, luckily the ground was still soft and broken up from where I dug the old shrubs out the other week. So I was able to scoop out a couple of holes with just the trowel. I planted a mini bottle brush and a ceanothus. I try and buy plants that will be attractive to bees and other insects.

The dog woke me up at 5.30, she didn't seem desperate to pee so I guess she was just bored and wanted some sofa snuggles. So I'm having a coffee before going back to bed for a bit.

Was 5.8 when I woke up.

Have a great day everyone!

Morning a 6.3 for me and a nice sleep even iffI could do with longer as like Lisa one of our dogs wanted to go out whilst the other two just sleep on like my lovely wife.
Got back at 9pm last night after a long day.My BG control stayed quite well but that was more me down to me not eating too much as was just busy and whilst everyone else enjoyed the Pizza and wedges etc I ended up hungry.
Until finally I attacked the Pizza last thing and then drove home but I stayed very well in range all day apart from only briefly going into 10s as I got home as the Pizza kicked in.
Took a corrective dose and settled down well overnight so happy.
All went well and gardener had done a lovely job of tidying up hedges in front garden and planting some bushes and will come on a regular basis.
Very quiet day today and looking forward to getting back to routine.

morning 6.9 today, after surprisingly quite a good nights sleep

Morning all. A better 6.5 after hovering around 10-11 all night despite a 4u correction before bed. I think i am coming down with something now. Hubby isn't well, achey coughing/losing his voice and i've woke this morning aching and with thickness in my throat. I'm supposed to be seeing my friend this afternoon but i'll see how i feel later.

Morning folks. Clickety click 6.6.

Not such an early morning today as no childcare as such until later, swimming lessons day today. As far as I’m aware, this may change, only five of us for lunch. Chicken sandwiches today. Simple and easy.

Eldest granddaughter is going back to work today, just two days to ease her in gently. She drove round to see us earlier in the week and we were pleased to see she was standing up so much straighter than when we saw her last week. She’ll be on light duties for a while, no pulling any heavy clothes racks/cages. So probably tills or fitting rooms where she can have a sit down if her back starts to hurt. Fingers crossed all will go well.

Have a good day, weather just so so. Nothing to write home about.

Morning all. 8.4 for me on waking this morning. A little on the high side, but nothing to be too alarmed about. Especially as I think my current sensor is reading a little high, but not enough to warrant a calibration.

Not sure what the forecast is for today, but yesterday here in the West of Ireland was gorgeous. I even got a load of washing dry on the clothes line - no mean feat for late March.

Have a great day everyone.

5.7

4.3 (with a swift rise to 4.8 with FOTF).

Cleaning the extension was a (dusty) success and it feels amazing in there now, after several trips to the charity shop and the tip. It's nice to see carpet in there - I'd forgotten it had one!!

It's our 26th wedding anniversary today. We're both on holiday so we're off to the lunchtime buffet of the local, wonderful Chinese restaurant. It's not an inexpensive place to eat so it's definitely a special occasions sort of choice. It's been years since we last ate there (but I'm promised by colleagues that it's still brilliant). I'm definitely not expecting my numbers to still be in the 4-7 range afterwards!

Hope everyone has a lovely day.
