Group 7-day waking average?

7.1 for me this morning on our penultimate day here in Clearwater Beach, FL. Bit of cloud but a high of 19 forecast for today. Tomorrow, our last full day, is meant to be better which will mean making the most of the beach before we return to the cold and rain!

Filled the car up with fuel yesterday and pleasantly surprised to see they now have pay at pump with Apple Pay / Contactless rather than the faff we have had in the past of going to the cashier, getting an estimated amount authorised to be refunded after pumping the gas when the actual amount is known! I also appreciate the nozzles let you lock them on whilst pumping so you don’t have to stand there holding the trigger. Little things!

We’re off to Tarpon Springs today which is famous for its sponge collecting boats and Greek food restaurants (which will be a very welcome break from burgers and wings ).

Yesterday’s trip south along the coast found us at Fort Desoto park and beach (silky fine white sands) - lovely place and only $6 to pay for all day parking! So here’s some more sunshine for you guys!

@zippyjojo - congratulations on your HS!

Take care everyone!

Collected glasses but only the intermediate ones had come in not the distance ones so will have to go back again. They’ll call next week.

Clean forgot to check in yesterday but today I’ve a 5.2 so yay!

V quiet weekend for me so I’ve been hitting the internet trying to source things for holiday(s) this year. Mainly I’ve been trying to find various things for my cruise wardrobe. As mentioned before there’s one party onboard where everyone wears something red or with a bit of red in it and there’s another one where the theme is black and gold.

I’ve ordered these:

They’ll probably look utterly ridiculous but no harm in trying!

Morning all. 6.9 for me this morning, down from 9.3 earlier this morning (took 2 units NovoRapid to correct). Dinner last evening was a new experiment (beef enchiladas with courgette instead of tortilla wraps) that did not turn out so well. The meal itself was delicious, but the FPU (fat protein unit) count was too high, such that I had treat an almost-hypo soon after eating and then, hours later, my blood sugar rose to just under 11. Even after correction, it stayed persistently high for much of the night. Not a meal I will have again any time soon!

Morning a 5.9 for me and congrats on HS Colin so why don’t you treat yourself to buy all of them and always remember when you have got it flaunt it.If you want value for money they seem the kind of things you could wear visiting @Eternal422 Greek restaurants.
Really nice day yesterday and managed to get some time in the garden which I love tidying up a corner of the front garden. So no walks just digging and forking and turning over the soil which gets my BG down really quickly even when I had the left over Pizza for lunch.
Then watched rugby which was thrilling and really exciting.
Not much planned today which is the way have always liked my w/ ends one active day and one lazy day.Whatever you have planned have a good one.

I’ve ordered all three. My expectation is that I’ll keep the striped one plus one of the other two but it’s likely that at least one will be in the wrong size as I’ve ordered them each in different sizes.

4.3 for me this morning. Coffee and Lemsip to get me going through morning stable duty. Definitely feeling a bit better mentally, but this cold is taking some shifting!

4.9 for me, it looks lovely outside. Off to work soon. Snowdrops still thriving 🙂

Wishing everyone a restful Sunday.

Good morning everyone! 6'3 earlier.

I don't enjoy waking up for a 6 or 6:30 shift, but they do have a positive: we usually have ten minutes to spare after we set up and before the customers start arriving. So my supervisor goes for a cigarette and I have a hot drink and a little phone time. Today I also nicked a croissant, it's too tempting when they come warm from the oven 😛 It's nice to have this moment of calm before the rush.

Today I expect to receive my bed. IKEA is not very specific with their delivery times: could be anytime from 7 am to 7 pm 🙄 I was supposed to get a text with a 4 hour slot, but nothing has arrived so far. So I'm just waiting for the call or text one hour before delivery. If all goes well, the next challenge will be assembling it!

Morning 6.6 today

I did the second week of the fitness program yesterday, and really enjoyed it
I haven’t myself played any football for about 45 years, but am really enjoying this program
It’s best described as building up some basic skills related to walking football, plus just fitness (but still quite gentle) for me I’m finding this is good for my balance & co ordination, plus the program has a element of MH support attached to it also, which is a bonus

Our back garden is looking tidier now and clear of the plants that had died off over winter, Mrs @goodybags cut most of it back before I got home and I did a tip run in the afternoon.

Congrats on the HS @ColinUK

Have a superb Sunday everyone

Well done @ColinUK on the 5.2 :star:
A 4.9 for me today.

Morning lovelies! 6 for me today.

Four days and 2 hours to go before next HbA1c bloods. Nervous, but I think less so now than I was a few weeks ago.
I feel like I know more now and that’s definitely helping calm the nerves a bit.
It may also be a level of acceptance as I’ve had a couple of overly carby days but here’s hoping I’ve made enough of a difference in 8 weeks to see some changes 🙂

Enjoy your Sunday!

Morning all
5.8 for me perfick
you all take care and have a good safe day
love to you all especially those who may be finding things a bit hard

They definitely won’t look ridiculous, they’re good looking fellas. Do they go on the cruise for free? Which website did you order them from? Asking for a friend! 😛

There were so many to pick from but I’ve gotta draw the line somewhere and honestly I think three at once is my limit these days!

😳Morning folks. A nice round 6 at 7am. Didn’t get up until 8.15, and spent the last half an hour prepping our weekly Sunday breakfast treat.

Quiet day at home as forecast is awful, gusty winds and heavy rain. Yesterday was glorious, went into town before lunch and treat ourselves to lunch in our favourite cafe. Chicken , bacon, mozzarella and pesto panini for me. Very carby but it’s ok I take insulin, but I’d only grabbed my pen and pill pot of Creon not my full kit bag with the spare cartridge I’d only put in after breakfast! I only had 5 units of bolus left! Duh! Correction as soon as I got home 3 hours later when I’d reached 11! Rookie mistake.

Have a super Sunday.

Congrats on the HS @ColinUK

And I’m sure you’ll rock that themed cruise look. Plenty of opportunity to waft around imperiously in those!

A 5.5 for me today. A bit more cloudy here today after a smashing sunny Saturday.
