Wordle - Quordle Thread

Was busy sorting breakfast, @rebrascora, I did the classic of injecting bolus and dozing off again, fortunately only for half an hour, so got the toast on in time.
I thought it was more straightforward today, not that I did brilliantly.

Quordle in 7,6,3,8
Octordle in 62, one life left.
Total 88.

Late entry for me today also - decided to wait until after breakfast. Looks like I'm tied with @Mumpie_olgran - grand total 86.

I'm still in the US so my 86 s yesterday. I'll have a pop at today's later on. Can't wait to get home. 1) to avoid confusion in which day's puzzle I'm doing 😉 2) stay in one time zone to make consistent Lantus timing and 3) just coz it's home 😉 😉
 
Agree much easier words but clumsy operator here
It's a 93 for me

I will start the ball rolling today...well if you discount @MikeyBikey's algebra. :D
It was an interesting one but I do hate how the same old words keep cropping up with increasing frequency, or perhaps we have just been playing this game too long and they are running out of 5 letter words!

Total for the day is a pretty reasonable (for me anyway 🙄) 84
 
Aargh! I was doing so well, got to the final word in Octordle with two guesses left, picked one..one letter out..picked the other, thinking, this is bound to be it. No! There was a third option I hadn’t spotted, so I failed! It gave me a score of 68, but I'm not totalling it, a fail is a fail.

Not doing very well at the moment, came a cropper on Quordle, off to a good start then had too many options for the final letter of the final word, and chose all the wrong ones first. So then I did Octordle very conservatively, and at least got a score.

No total. Will I win the wooden spoon outright today, or will someone share?
 
Yes Quordle was awkward and to went to the wire! Wordle was also a challenge to complete as had 4 letters and around 6 choices. And what is 7th word in Octordle. Nearly got it first guess when I had anagram and then had to swap two letters!

Total Score 89 but think it beatable but hope it is not! :rofl :
